I am using the STM32CubeIDE and using my new P-NUCLEO-WB55. I have tried to create a simple project and ran a debug session but it is always getting stuck in Hard Fault Error. Please find the attached screenshot.

I just started working on STM32WB55 and was going through the BLE example codes given in the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.2.0 package. I am confused in understanding the program structure of the code (where to add new services, characteristics, where to handle the events generated by read and write services) as I would like to add a simple read or write service to the code.In which file do i need to edit or add these?Regards,Haider

i'm trying to use the Nucleo WB55 dongle as a mass storage device.Using cubeMx i set the USB, and the USB Middleware as MSC, leaving the default settings. Nothing else is running on the dongle, just USB.When i plug it, it appear as an unknown device. I have a question about role of BLE. I would like to set multi role either as a central(master) or a peripheral (slave) on STM32WB. I checked on STCubeMX5.3.0 but not found multi role function. I would like to know this chip or software are support multi role? If it able. How to setting?

I wish to connect this kit (STM32L072CZY6TR) to a raspberry pi. As the Pi only supports SPI in master mode I need to use I2C to get a two way conversation. I wish to send and receive the occasional codes from a server via LORAWAN and communicate those to a Raspberry Pi which in turn will control machinary. It is impossible for the Pi to be connected to the internet. I am hoping to not have to go down the GSM route.Many thanks

Hi All, I have trouble getting the BlE working on my new hardware(stm32wb55RGV6). The prgram can't enter into  APP_BLE_Init( ); . The same code in P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo(stm32wb55RGV6U)can work. What's different between stm32wb55RGV6  and stm32wb55RGV6U?

Hello,I used the Nucleo STM32WB55 board to test the STM32WB55xx current consumption.I took the PWR_STOP2_RTC example from the STM32Cube MCU package for STM32WB Series (v1.2.0)With STM32CubeMx v5.3.0 I re-generated code for Truestudio (I am using Truestudio v9.3.0) and followed the readme for the board setup.I measured 113µA on JP2 (when the chipset is in STOP2 mode), while I expected something close to 2µA as per the datasheet.What is strange is that I have the same consumption if I change the code to use STOP1 or STOP0 mode instead of STOP2.What could be wrong in my setup?How much current should the board consume with this example code?Thanks & Best Regards,Julien.

Hello,I am new to BLE and the STM32WB55. I want to get to a point where I can use the Nucleo board (MB1355C) to receive advertising messages which contain data. I was looking at the BLE example repository. I also attended the ST workshop for this microcontroller. If I understand right, these examples are meant to run on the STM32WB55 acting as the Server/Broadcaster/Peripheral while a smartphone operates as the Client/Observer/Central. Does anyone know if there are any examples of the STM32WB55 operating as the Client/Observer/Central?Thanks and I appreciate the help.Michael

Hi, I have two types of MCUs that I am building a board with. One is labeled as STM32WB55, while the other one is ES32WB55. Is there any difference between the two? I could not find any information on the ES32 chip in my Googling. I am having trouble connecting to the chip using an ST-Link. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I am using an ES chip? Hello everyone,We are developing a custom board based on the STM32WB55CGU in my company, and I would like to know if the only way to flash the binaries for the CPU2 is by using the USB DFU bootloader ? Can we use a connection handled by a ST-Link ?It is the case for the Development board and for the USB Dongle, so this is why I am asking.

Platform: STM32WB55 discovery board connected to I2S codec.My mission: To receive data from the codec using DMA transfer.Calling to HAL_SAI_Receive function returns the data correctly so I guess that everything is configured correctly.When calling to HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA, hdma->Instance->CNDTR stays on the same initial value.When debugging the code and running the HAL functions in single step - I do get the half full interrupt and the buffer contains the correct values. So again - I guess that everything is configured correctly.The base code is generated with CubeMX.HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA is called from the main loop, so I guess it is not related to interrupt priority issues.Any other ideas?Thanks!

Hi !I got a discovery board B-L072cz-LRWAN1. It go to stop mode and when the Alarm trig it wake up and run the program correctly. But when I use the uart for print or anything else, the program stop. Here is my code. Hello,We designed a device with CMWX1ZZABZ-091 LoRa module on I-CUBE-LPWAN (Our FW is based on AT_Slave example).Now we are in the middle of getting FCC certification and our certification lab asked us to provide a command for testing radio.We recommended them to use AT+TTLRA command every time they need to send a packet, but it seems that they are not able to select a specific freq/channel to transmit on.The only option they have is to select 868 or 915 MHz using AT+TCONF command.We also found AT+CERTIF command but do not know what exactly it does. Can you describe it?And maybe there is another AT command we can use for testing radio (transmitting on a specific channel for testing all channels separately)?Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,I am currently developing a code for my custom board that has BLE communication along with RTC and timer(PWM) initialized. I am currently testing my code first on the PNucleoWB55 development board. The issue is that the normal RTC_Alarm Example from the SDK is working fine and alarm interrupt occurs exactly after 30 seconds. However, when I initialize the RTC in BLE_p2pServer, the RTC interrupt occurs much quicker (approx 5 seconds when programmed to occur after 30 seconds). What could be the issue? If someone can help me, I shall be grateful.

I am using STM32l476RG nucleo board and X_Nucleo_IDB051.I want to transfer SAI peripheral data over BLE.I have tried to generate code using CUBEMX but device fails to advertise as well as it is fails to capture data over SAI.Alone SAI example is working fine but BLE example not working.I am not getting what is the mistake. looking for solution on this problem.
