Hello, i have two b-l072z board and making LoRa comm as point to point. While I sending ADC data I want to add packet to timestamp. I have inspected hw_rtc.c file and find HW_RTC_GetCalenderValue function. But it make me confusing because of static function. How get RTC_TimeStruct in my main file? Thanks.Selim.

I am having problems running LPTIM1 off the LSE. When I set up and interrupt it is firing ever clock cycle and does not seem to be clearing. RCC_BDCR_LSERDY bit is active before selecting the LPTIM1 clock source. I have also tried disabling the interrupt and just enabling a PWM output. This results in a toggle every clock cycle on the output pin instead of the expected duty cycle and period.Is this related to the issue mentioned in this errata (2.7.2)? static void LPTIM_Init(void) { /* Disable LPTIM1 */ RCC->APB1ENR1 &= ~RCC_APB

I read that STM32WB current models do not currently support a Bluetooth 5 coded PHY. Is it possible it will someday with an upgrade to the CoProc Binaries, or is it not in the silicon at all?If not does ST have any parts on the roadmap that will?

Hi, I am new programming with STM microcontrollers and I would need to to program the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 development board with the Adafruit Ultimate GPS module quickly. The idea is to see the GPS data in the simplest way.Could you please help with this? Any example or information will be appreciated. Thanks

I'm using BLE_p2pRouteur example code. In app_conf.h, CFG_TX_POWER is #defined to 0x18, and the comment next to it says 0 dbm. This parameter gets passed to aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(1, CFG_TX_POWER). The documentation of this function in UM1865 indicates this parameter has valid values between 0 and 7. So what does a value of 0x18 mean, and how do I set the TX power to known power levels? Thanks...Brian

Hi guys,im working on project with STM32WB55RG and noticed very strange behaviour of RTC peripheral.After power up everything works fine but after reset RTC peripheral won't initialize. I'm using HAL library. After further investigation of code I've found that problem is with unlocking write protection on RTC register. After reset writing 0xCA and 0x53 to WPR takes no effect (can't write anything to register). Again, after power-up everything works. The problem is only with RTC, everything else works no matter what.I'd like to add I'm using TrueStudio and LSI clock source. This happens on all 3 prototypes I have. Maybe you guys will help because I'm out of ideas.

Hi ,I am trying to get quick start STM32WB55 Nucleo Board using low power application example. I tried to execute LPTIM example from Examples_LL folder (P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo) in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.2.0. I followed the read me file to get the expected output as LED2 to toggle. But that is not happening. I observe no toggle of LED2 on the board. May i know the setup required in order to make LPTIM application to work. Do we need to include CMOS battery on to the board. I tried to debugg the session, but as soon as the controller enters in to stop mode, debug session is getting closed. May i know the reason for this. Does debug session will work when controller is in STOP mode.Thanks,Suyodhana

Hi everyone,I have made a custom board which has an on-board STM32WB Controller along with a 3G Modem to connect with the internet. On the internet, I have my custom Web Server where some parameters are present. I want to fetch those parameters from the web server and save them inside the Controller so that hardware can buzz at a specific time defined in those parameters. All the communication with server is supposed to occur over MQTT. However, I don't know how to get started. If someone can please guide me thoroughly. I'll be very thankful.Warm Regards,

The only difference is the use of MTU = 256.The length of the characteristic is equal to MTU android pixel (126)The problem is that when sending firmware from a custom application to an Android Pixel, all packages very rarely arrive. A lot is lost.At the same time, when testing on Android Nexus 7, all packages come.At first, I decided that a Pixel transmits data faster than a Nexus and reduced the transmission speed by delay. Only a delay of 100ms between the transfer of packets allowed to receive all packets.But at the Nexus, packets are transmitted approximately every 20ms and everything comes.Then I limited the length of the characteristic to 20 bytes and nothing changed, when transferring from a Pixel, data is lost.The next step, on the chip side, I removed the code that writes to the flash and bingo!, with a characteristic length of 126, without using the delay, all th

 I changed the default class to class c in the main.c of I-Cube_lrwan V1.2.2, but it seems to be acting as a Class A still. I am working the Multitech Conduit gateway and the B-L072Z-LRWAN1. They are communicating with each other continuously, but I am trying to make it so the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 only responds when the gateway sends a message. The B-L072Z-LRWAN1 constantly sends messages to the gateway. How do I stop this?

Everything seems to work fine in putty except the join, but the signal is not received by TTN, while it is received when i use v1.1.2 (https://github.com/drakkar-lig/st-lrwan). I changed the devEUI, appEUI and appKey.

I'm attempting to run the LoRa Expansion pack for the End Node project inside of STM32CubeIDE, but am running into issues. I'm running this on a STM32L051K8U6 MCU with SX1272 radio.Here's what I've done:1.) Imported the project. Had to choose import as Atollic project.2.) Started stepping through lines of code via the debugger.3.) Had trouble with my debugger going crazy when running the DBG_Init() function. Added DEBUG #define symbol. That got me past the DBG_Init() function.4.) Getting stuck deep inside the HW_RTC_Init() function waiting for "LSE is ready". Best I can tell is that the SysTick isn't incrementing. Is the example project broke? Or, am I missing some additional #defines?Can someone please provide some guidance here? I was hoping this example would work right out the gate.

Hi, I have a project where I need to read protect my application code. The problem with RDP is that it would erase the entire flash (including OTA). I assume this problem is to be solved by using PCROP on the OTA code. I have attempted to protect the memory from 0x0800 0000 to 0x0800 6FFF using the following commands in STM32Cube Programmer CLI. This results in the OTA code not running at all and not being read/write protected at all. While connecting the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 to TTN with lora i-cube_irwan endnote and changing the AppEui and Appkey gives a never seen status at TTN. Putty perfectely shows the Version, OTAA, devEui, AppEui and AppKey but does not show the join. How can i solve this?

Hi,I have generated the code for PWM generation using STM32 CubeMX and it is working fine on B-l072Z-lrwan1.But when I was trying to integrate same code with the existing Ping Pong example, I was not getting any PWM signal on respective pin. I have also configure the pin according to timer and channel with the help of datasheet and also check the alternate function for the pin.I have tried different Timers but I am not getting any PWM signal at output.Can anyone tell me, why this is happening?
