Hi,I am working on CMWX1ZZABZ-078 module and I use the "X-CUBE-SFOX Expansion Package" stack for Sigfox. My Queries are as below:-1) How can I get MAC ID of the Radio Device using Sigfox stack? Is there any API available?2) It is mentioned in the datasheet that each STM32 MCU has its own 96 Bit Unique_ID. How can I get this Unique_ID of STM32L082 MCU present inside CMWX1ZZABZ-078 Module?Thanks,Shall be awaiting for Response / Suggestion if any.

I need to develop an STM32WB55-based BLE system that consists of 2 parts. Each part will have a button on it as well as a sensor. When a button is pressed on one device, it needs to inform the other device, as well as communicate its sensor value. Both devices are identical. I need to communicate information between the devices upon a button press as quickly as possible, and I also need to preserve battery life. Here are my thoughts on this so far - Both devices are configured as peripherals.Both devices advertise periodicallyWhen a button is pressed on Device 1, it switches its role to central (is this possible?)Device 1 scans for a peripheral, sees Device 2 and connects to it.Device 1 sends its button and sensor data to Device 2The devices disconnect and both devices go back to peripheral mode and advertising.Several questions -Is the scenario described above feasible?If so, should I use a s

Hi,I have added the following command to the post build steps.arm-none-eabi-objcopy -O binary "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.elf" "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.bin"The size of .bin file generated is 393411KB compared to 383KB hex file and does not upload with STM32 Cube Programmer.Has anyone been able to successfully generate a binary file (.bin) to program the STM32WB and how have you done so?Thanks,Daniel

I have observed, using a frequency counter, that the HSE clock on Nucleo board (after using the calibration value in the OTP memory) is off by around 20ppm. I have configured the SYSCLK to HSE_SYS. Now, HAL_GetTick counts the tick from the derived clock. So, it will go (in ms) off after certain time. right?. Could we correct such error.My application requires precise timekeeping. I see similar issue in the RTC source clock. it's deviated from the actual frequency of 32768Hz. Is there any procedure to correct the deviation.If someone could point to any literature on how to do precise timekeeping in embedded systems considering different latencies and physical errors.

HiThe connection starts up in 1Mbps and when connected, I change it to 2Mbps. This all goes well, but I can't return to 1Mbps anymore if I do this. Any ideas ?thx in advance :D

I have a dongle/dev board kit that I'm experimenting with. I updated and flashed the dongle's M0 chip via the STM32 Programming tool. Since I've already switched the dev board to J-Link headers, and have been flashing the M4 chip, I'm wondering if I can use J-Link to flash the M0 chip? Or, is it limited to using the STM Programmer?

HiWhen I connect to the STM32WB55 nucleo(set up as peripheral) with my phone, I receive the EVT_LE_CONN_COMPLETE . Now I want to bond them with MITM, so I use aci_gap_slave_security_req() to let the phone know, I get a notification to pair, press pair, but then it keeps trying but doesn't work. In the documentation (STM32_BLEstack.pdf) they just say to use the command like that. I'm having some trouble importing and building the BLE_p2pServer project in STM32CubeIDE. The project doesn't seem to import correctly and I get a number of errors when I try to compile. I assume this is due to STM32CubeIDE is not being listed as one of the supported toolchains in the STM32CubeWBGettingStarted.pdf, which I find unusual given that it is the IDE provided by ST themselves. It seems that STM32CubeIDE cannot locate a number of the required include files such as "stm32wbxx_nucleo.h". I have the same issues for all the other example projects as well. Is there a simple workaround or will support for STM32CubeIDE be added in the near future?

Hi there, I have set up my STM32WB55 nucleo board up to work in the platform for my company. So far, the UART and GPIO are working. But I'm stuck on the BLE. I can set it up and find it with my phone, but when i connect to it, it doesnt get me an user event. I It's kinda strange because I get these IPCC_Rx interrupts in the APP_BLE_Init(), but when it starts advertising and I connect(which is working, i can read attributes on my phone) I don't get an interrupt. I also noticed that the timer that handles the connection state machine to restart the adversting when nobody connects to it, also doesn't work.I checked with the BLE_BloodPressure example from ST and when i connect to this, it generates an interrupt.Hope somebody can help me, I've been stuck for some days now on this problem

Hi everybody!It's just a few days that I use STM32CubeIDE, I was only able to run these examples on B-L475E-IOT01A2.I haven't found any example project on I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 + B-L475E-IOT01A2 combo, so I'm trying to do it manually.So, I already downloaded UM2073 software expansion and copied "Components" and " I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1" folders, hoping to some include .h file using some components of this board only including that header.Unfortunately isn't so easy, I got a lot of errors like this in which I suppose that there is not indication for correct pinout:

I just received my B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board in the mail. I want to use it with Arduino, but when I plug it in to my Ubuntu computer it is not recognized at all. Nothing shows up through 'dmesg' command, nothing shows up through 'lsusb' command.   If the OS can't see it, clearly the Arduino IDE can't see it.   Any ideas what is going wrong? (I've also tried multiple USB cables, and Ubuntu computers)

I'm evaluating the STM32WB55 for use in a product which needs to read user input (button press and associated sensor data), and communicate it to another device over BLE. I'm using a pair of STM32WB55 Nucleo boards to communicate with each other over BLE. I'm using the BLE_p2pClient and BLE_p2pServer example programs as a starting point. I would like to reduce the latency as much as possible for sending notifications between the 2 boards. Currently, I'm able to start both boards and establish a connection between them. The example code is designed such that when you press a button on one board, an LED on the other board changes state. Using a logic analyzer to measure the delay between the button press and the LED changing, I'm seeing times that range from ~70ms to 150 ms. I'm trying to understand what parameters can be changed within the code to affect this time. I see that BLE has a connection interval spec that can range from 7.5ms to 4s

I have a STM32f401RE board and STM32f446RE board. I want to implement FreeRTOS on them and then I going to use sockets to communicate with the Iphone or Android application. Hello community,I'm getting started with the STM32WB55 Nucleo board and worked through some examples. To get a better understanding I chose to start a new project from scratch. I used CubeIDE (came from Atollic TS and CubeMX anyways) and initalised the MCU (as seen in the workshop tutorials). The MCU immidiately dropped into Hard Fault Error. I investigated a bit and compared the code to the p2p_server example. Everything seemed fine, except the linker script. The _estack variable didn't match. As soon as I adapted it, all seemed to work fine but the app_ble_init() was never called. I really invested a lot of time tracking the error down but could not find anything. Then I simply copied the linker script from the p2p_example to my project and suddently everything worked fine.It seems like a workaround for me. Can anybody enlighten me what is going on there?Thanks in advance!Best regards,Philipp

Hi everyone,I am using the Nucleo-WB55RG to try and fully erase/program the flash memory. However, when the FLASH_MassErase() function is called in stm32wbxx_hal_flash_ex.c, a hard fault exception occurs. I believe this has to do with trying to erase the secure memory only accessible through CPU2. When I try to boot up CPU2 (set C2BOOT pin) I receive a PGSERR flag in the FLASH_C2SR register. This has been extremely inconvenient that for the entire flash to be erased, you need execute from CPU2 and the boot process is not exactly straight forward. Are there any suggestions on how to gain access to CPU2 and perform the mass erase function? Thanks.Steve
