Posted on June 05, 2018 at 09:24Hi everyone,I'm working on B-L072Z-LRWAN1 lora discovery kit and i have an issue.I'm able to upload my program on STM32 and it run when the STM is plug in on USB STLINK.My issue is when i want run my STM on 3AAA battery. I just have the LD7 LED and my program (send data with LoRa) seems to not working ...Have you an idea ?ThanksPS : i use the EndNode Cube default project #battery #lora

Posted on January 19, 2018 at 17:25Hello.I was working with the LRWAN software using the Murata module a couple of months ago and was happy with its operation and functionality on my custom PCB. I moved over to hardware/antenna development and now have a board whose performance I am happy with. However I have now moved back into software development and noticed that the LRWAN software had moved up a few revisions. I was working with 1.1.1 and so I downloaded the latest (1.1.4), configured everything and now find that although I can successfully perform an uplink and downlink, I am not receiving a confirmation when I turn on confirmed messages (using AT+CFM=1). When I load up my previous project (1.1.1) confirmed messages work fine.I'm trying to pin down why this is and am trying to download a fresh copy of 1.1.1. as well as 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 so that I can track the changes which may have resulted this problem. Posted on March 23, 2018 at 20:00 Hi, I've made a custom board based on CMWX1ZZABZ-091 which contains theSTM32L072CZ device and am currently trying to modify existing End_Node (\STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.1.4\Projects\Multi\Applications\LoRa\End_Node) application to transmitt data on two events: either a timer event or external gpio event. While looking at the source code I see that the following functions exists: LoraStartTx( TX_ON_TIMER) ;�? Which basically selects one(!)event that will wake-up the device from sleep in order to transmitt the data. Is it possible to have two wakeup sources ? I use the I-CUBE-LRWAN 'Ping Pong' project as a starting point. I'd like to modify the ping pong app to exchange data with the server, but I need to specify EUIs (App EUI, Dev EUI...) but I havent find where I can do that. Posted on June 08, 2018 at 05:21Hi,I'm actually working with a LoRaWAN kit (https://techship.com/products/acsip-lorawan-evk-antenna-kit-s76sxb/) based on STM32L073x and Semtech SX1276 radio module.So the kit comes with examples based on Semtech example. I have been able to flash thoses examples via SWD pins and an STM32F0 Discovery ST-Link.But since yesterday, I can't flash anything on the kit. I'm using Keil uVision5. When I try to flash something I get the error message 'No target connected'. I can't even connect with the ST-Link Utility and when I try to set Boot0 High and use STM32 Flash Loader the program crash right after selecting the COM port when I need to select the device in the target list.ST-Link is not the problem as I can still flash on the Discovery board

Posted on June 14, 2018 at 22:58Having a problem with ST-Link v2-1 programming the STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN boards.Have updated the firmware and using the latest driver for WIndows 10.Programming requires constant driver restarting. Debugging from the IAR or Keil is nearly impossible.On the several PCs the app ST-Link Utility can't connect to the board due to a USB failure.Drag-and-drop feature works 1 time out of 100 with fail message: 'The application file format is unknown and cannot be parsed and/or processed'Thanks for help.#b-l072z-lrwan1 #stm32l0-discovery-kit-lora

Posted on June 14, 2018 at 18:54Hello,i see that in the CUBE for lorawan, the HAL_InitTick function has been rewritten, with a simple return and does nothing, replacing the standard in the HAL_drivers, so the timeout function of every other HAL don't work due the HAL_GetTick function that don't work.What can i do to reintroduce the possibility of reading Ticks without break everything, and why this has been deactivated?Thanks in Advance#lora

And we have no communication between our 2 modules. Posted on April 27, 2017 at 11:23The CalculateBackOff method of teh i cuve lrwan is too old and contains a major bug for join duty cycle procedure.The calcBackOff.ElapsedTime is always now !.In case of a new Initiliazation of the LoRa Stack, maybe 10 hours after the RTC startup, the join procedure will be delayed. To achieve this, we're trying to use the http://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/i-cube-lrwan.html, but can't figure out how to add this library to the http://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubemx.html project. It seems like, this library can't be added to our project through STM32CubeMX. The only solution we have is to add manually the library to the project but we can't figure out how to do it. We

Posted on June 01, 2018 at 06:19Hi,I am having problems with downloading I-CUBE_LRWAN project onto the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 development module.The error message I am receiving is 'internal command error'. I am also having the same connection problem with st-link utility. Posted on May 23, 2018 at 09:03I have been working on stm32 lora discovery kit B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board and what i want to do is, I want to program the STM32L0 board and access all the other pis related to it. The peripherals mentioned and given in the board is to be programmed using the STM32L0 module. The software I am using is System workbench based on eclipse. How am i supposed to do that ??? I referred the circuit diagram and understood that most of the pin outs and header which are given in the board are of STM32L0 and not of STM32F103xx. So i want to program the STM32L0 board independent of STM32F103... Please help me regarding the same...##stm32f103 ##stm32 #b-l072z-lrwan1

One of the critical sections of my research involves calculating the energy consumption during transmission and reception. Hence I am looking for a method to power the board using 3.3v and log the voltage and current consumption.As so I came across X-NUCLEO-LPM01A. According to its datasheet:'It can be used to supply and measure the consumption of STM32 Nucleo-32, Nucleo-64 or Nucleo-144 boards, using Arduino connectors. Alternatively, it supplies and measures the consumption of any target connected by wires via the basic connector.'My custom built board simply needs a VCC and a GND to operate. So I was wondering if X-NUCLEO-LPM01A will suffice for this project. I was not able to find any video demonstrating the same.

Posted on May 08, 2018 at 10:04Hi, I have some trouble getting the sigfox stack up and running on B-l072Z-LRWAN1 kit together with SDR Dongle from Sigfox, what i have done so far is:1. Executed SignatureGenerator.bin on my device and retrieved the signature2. Requested the PAC/ID from Murata and got the sigfox_data.h back3. Replaced the sigfox_data.h with new data from Murata4. Modified the sigfox stack to operate with public CMAC `SGFX_CMAC_set_key_type( CMAC_KEY_PUBLIC );`5. Connected the dongle directly to LRWAN1 via SMA-SMA with attenuator6. In Snek software configured the device ID and Radio configuration to match the LRWAN1 default config (RC1)7. Posted on May 01, 2018 at 16:05Hi Everyone,I would like to ask a question regarding to powering the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 direct from the CN11 USB connector.The user manual of the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 states the following:''When the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board is powered by an external power supply through USB FS connector (CN11), in device mode, do not use a PC as power source if the current consumption is greater than 100 mA, otherwise the PC can be damaged.''As far as i know a PC's USB2.0 port can provide up to 500mA. On the other hand the maximum current consumption of the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 is 300mA.   Why the datasheet recommends not to source power direct from the PC? Posted on April 26, 2018 at 10:57Hi everybody,I work on a B-L072Z-LRWAN1 and particularly on the AT_Slave project from I_CUBE_LRWAN. I know that this project uses LPUART via ST-LINK to send AT commands through a terminal to the Murata LoRa module, the pin related are PA2 and PA3 for Tx and Rx.What I would like to do is to switch from LPUART to USART1 (I need to do that for another project). I tried to change the code in order to replace LL_LPUART by LL_USART then I tested it and tried to send AT on USART1 through a terminal plugged to PA9 and PA10 pins (Tx and Rx for USART1) but it didn't work, the code changed is joined.So my question is, is there a way to do what I try to do ? Posted on April 19, 2018 at 16:31Hello, I would like to know if someone ever experience to put Sigfox stack and LoRa stack (stack from St) at the same time on the murata module ? I would like to re initialize the hardware (HAL_Init( ), SystemClock_Config( ), HW_Init(), HW_EEPROM_Init()... each time I want to swith Sigfox to Lora or vice-versa) in order to put the right seeting for each stack !
