Posted on November 03, 2017 at 15:02Hello,Using 2 WM-SG-SM-42 modules which are parts of I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 I am trying to establish point to point communication without LoRaWAN. I have updated the AT commands firmware to 3.0 and I am following the examples in documentation.On the transceiver I am writing commands:ATZ // reset the moduleAT+RF=15,869000000,7,0,1 // setting up the radioAT+TXT=1,48454C4C4F // transmitting the dataOn the receiver I am writing commands:ATZ // reset the moduleAT+RF=15,869000000,7,0,1 // setting up the radioAnd I do not get any messages. I was of course trying to set receiver in listen mode (AT+DEFMODE=5) and in continous RX (AT+DEFMODE=3) and I can not get any +RCV messages.Anyone has already established such connection?#usi-lora #p2p

I'm trying to add a SPI display to LoRa board based on STM32L072CZ I have used STM32CubeMx to select the pins,clock and so on,the programming enviroment is the AC6 Workbench, i was encouraged to use the Hal libraries,and so i did. It was connect with Semtech lora gateway but rssi is very low and it have some lose of message from P-NUCLEO-LRWAN1.  please see result a picture below.In addition, I use a same gateway with Lora Semtech sensor node. It was a good RSSI. Please see a picture below.How to solve

Posted on August 26, 2017 at 01:17The LRWAN tree contains a very old L4 HAL tree, doesn't support L496, also lacks support for NUCLEO 32 and 144 boards.Ported in the V1.8.0 L4 Cube supplied HAL libraries.Got about 90% through a port of the SX1272MB2xAS shield on to a STM32L496 Nucleo-144 board, currently stuck on the LPUART1 VCP connection.#lora #lorawan

Posted on June 12, 2017 at 15:37Hello,I am trying to use LoRa connectivity with the brand new b-l072z-lrwan1 discovery board. The End Node project works perfectly but I have an issue with the AT Slave project. When I try to send LoRa packet to my Multitech gateway, this one never receive the packet and I cannot use AT command with the disco board anymore. I can only do a hardware reset of the board. As you can see on my screenshot, the Join process has been done correctly. It is using a STM32L0 and is connected to an application on android.I want to make a DFU (device firmware update) via bluetooth (OTA) so I can change the version of my product in a simple way. I would like to have my application giving via BLE packets of the new version of the firmware.How can I process to do this ?What do I have to do from each side of the game ? Also i use https://community.st.com/discussion/thethingsnetwork.org. I ported this example to iM880B (stm32L151CB-A + sx1272). And my end node device easy joined to base station and to cloud. But after first sending frame with data, LoRaMacState == LORAMAC_TX_RUNNING. And when time is gone for next send frame, LoRaMacState not cleared. So next frame is not sending while not reboot device. There are LoRa examples for System Workbench for 5 different Boards, which include in the folder middleware all functions of LoRaWAN. But as the code of drivers and middlelware is not easy to understand, it would be nice to migrate it to another project on another board. I just want to pass over the data to that middleware, so I don't have to worry about the further handling. And by the way the modularity, which STM32 describes on nearly every page, should work somehow!My working steps so far:I found Cube (without MX), but there is no driver/middleware/libraray for LoRa.Also tried just to copy the Folders Driver and Middleware of the STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.1.0 to a new CubeMX project. Would be awsome, if there is a tutorial, how the migration of drivers and middelware is realized :)Thanks in

Posted on June 13, 2017 at 00:16I was doing a firmware update over the air and it failed, so now I don't have the LED blinking on my SensorTile. How do I recover from this? Also, could it have been because the SensorTile was not blinking constantly during the OTA firmware update? Has anyone else experienced that? #firmware-update #stm32f4 #ota #sensor-tile

I downloaded from STM32 site the example projects for board and I tried to run project for LoRa called PingPong. This project should start the communication between two boards. I unsuccessfully tried the PingPong project under IAR and also under Keil. It did not work, maybe problem in synchronization. At the beginning it works, but it fails after a some time.I would like to ask anybody of simple source code STM32 with LoRa to run communication between two boards, simply receiver and transceiver.Thank you,Jan Muller#lora
