STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

I wrote a code for this microcontroller to test the CAN protocol, and it worked successfully in loopback test mode—data was transmitted and received correctly without using any external CAN transceiver. Then, I switched the CAN mode from loopback to normal mode and physically connected the TX and RX pins together using a wire.However, with the same code (only changing the test mode), I noticed that in Live Watch, the TX pin shows activity (data being transmitted), but the RX pin shows nothing—no data being received. I even checked the signals on an oscilloscope, and the waveforms on TX and RX were identical, confirming that the signal is physically present on both lines. Dear Support Team,While using STM32CubeMX, I encountered an error when attempting to select "Refresh Data" (via Help > Refresh Data) or "ACCESS TO MCU Selector". The error message displayed is: cube-finder-db.zip (HTTP Access Forbidden). The screenshot of the error message is also attached.As suggested in a community forum, I have already attempted to run STM32CubeMX with administrative privileges; however, the issue persists.  Hello, I'm new to ST platform and I would like to understand about clock configuration.I'm using NUCLEOU545REQ board for my development and want to know how to enable HSI16 clock and configure system clock to 24Mhz using stm32cubeGUI.

What I have to do that I can directly call some python scripts as pre/post code generation step with CubeMX 6.14.1 under Linux?Currently I can execute directly the python script on a Windows Machine, but on the Linux machine nothing happens. On Linux I can execute the scripts directly from command line without CubeMX and I can execute the scripts over a bash script which is calling the python script.Do I need to configure anything additional?Is there a possibility to select which python version is used?Any other hint where my problem could be?

Hi,I am using the STM32F103RB (NUCLEO-F103RB) and trying to configure the clocks using STM32CubeMX.According to the official reference manual (RM0008) and datasheet, the maximum allowed APB2 clock frequency is 72 MHz, and I know that peripherals like TIM1 or ADC are connected to APB2.I have tried several combinations of PLL settings:HSE = 8MHzPLL Multiplier = x9 → SYSCLK = 72MHzAHB Prescaler = /1APB2 Prescaler = /1 (PCLK2 = SYSCLK = 72MHz)However, in the CubeMX Clock Configuration tab, even when I do this, the APB2 clock (PCLK2) never goes above 64 MHz. CubeMX simply refuses to allow me to set it to 72MHz. It caps it at 64 MHz.My questions are:Is this a limitation of STM32CubeMX, or does STM32F103RB actually not support APB2 at 72MHz despite the datasheet?If this is a CubeMX issue, is there a workaround or a manual fix for it?How can I really run TIM1 or ADC at their maximum clock (72MHz) as stated in

HI All,I am using STM32F769 DISCO board.I have configured SD card in 1 bit moe and it works fine.But it doesn't work in 4 bit mode.The problem is in SD_FindSCR function.if(__HAL_SD_GET_FLAG(hsd, SDMMC_FLAG_RXDAVL))is never executed.Cube MX version is 6.8.1I see there are many similar post's on the forum butnone of the solution worked.I have set the clock to 12Mhz and I see thatHAL initialize sd card with 1 bit line then trying to read SCRregister to check if 4 bit data line is supported.And can't read SCR register.Maybe there are fixes to this HAL library?Thanks,

HiI try to use IP multicast function. With 6.13, i enable IGMP, and then generate code, but it seems there is no any files added(such igmp.h), these files are necessary for multicast.Could you check this IGMP feature?  I have thought it's basic feature. ThanksPeter

Really appreciate updates for using proper OBJECT versus INTERFACE library type, but using CMAKE_SOURCE_DIR and CMAKE_PROJECT_NAME have very specific meaning and disallow the ability to utilize a CubeMX project in normal CMake projects. These both refer to the top level entry point of the CMake project. This breaks if there's a container project for build automation.These instances appear in both the gcc-arm-none-eabi.cmake and stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt - the previous instance in the toolchain definition wasn't problematic as the instances could be updated. Unfortunately, CubeMX does not respect customizations to stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt -- the file is lost after any automatic generation. This breaks CubeMX for easy edits if there's a need to maintain the previous behavior.PROJECT_SOURCE_DIR should be compatible and reference the proper files without breaking previous behavior (allow sub-directory CMake use and not impact the original). Hi all,I'm trying to set up a new STM32H750 project. I've created quite a few projects using CubeMX in the past, so I'm familiar with the process. However, now I'm trying to start up a STM32H750 project, and I've very quickly run into an issue. In the Clock Configurator, some of the PLL settings are greyed out (DIVR1, DIVP2, DIVP3, DIVR3) and I can't edit them. I have HSE enabled, and have PLLCLK configured, but I don't know what else I might be missing. I'm using the latest STM32CubeMX (6.14.1) Can someone point out what I'm doing wrong?   

Is there a reason and fix for why some MCUs chosen in the "MCU/MPU Selector" of STM32CubeMX start a project without issue but some fail with a message dialog?"Can't create [MCU part#] [package type] Project: error when loading [MCU part#].xml file"For me, "STM32C051C6Tx LQFP48" fails in this way. But "STM32C031C6Tx LQFP48" loads perfectly fine. Two machines, one Linux host, the other WSL, each running STM32CubeMX v6.11.1.

I have been working on an application with multiple DMA channels and timers.  For some reason, STM32CubeMX doesn't have the proper drop-down options for TIM15_CH2 in the DMA channel configuration. All the other timers and channels appear to configure properly:Here is the generated code.  My fix/workaround is shown in RED, while the code generated by STM32CubeMX is in GREEN:

As the title suggest, non-STM32CubeIDE build setup won't compile successfully with arm-none-eabi-gcc version 14.2 (the latest from ARM) while the same setup compilation is successful with 12.3. version (also supported in STM32CubeIDE). The problem is the inclusion of <math> standard library in the following files: "system_stm32u5xx.c" and "stm32u5xx_hal_def.h" files (I assume same goes for other MCUs).This is merely a suggestion to HAL support team to make HAL more compliant with newer ARM GCC versions rather than a bug. The only thing these two math-dependent files actually use is the definition of float_t and double_t. The actual code that appears useful to the HAL files I'm using is the one below (which could be made available by one of generic HAL headers):
