Posted on March 20, 2017 at 07:38Hi All,I am planning to have CRC calculation for my Hex file generated and i want to keep that CRC at the end memory location of hex file generated ,Is there any option in SPCstudio to enbale CRC so that when IDE is generating hex file it can calculate the CRC and keep it at the end location of the generated Hex file,while flashing to the board we can remove that CRC bytes and flash the hex file,Please let me know is there any option to enable in SPCstdio.Thanks in advance,---Thanks & Regards,Mujeeb#crc #spc5

Using SPC560B-DIS Eval board, and tried UART serial example with LED, COM Port is not detecting on the Computer.Flashed the firmware using UDE through USB , LED start blinking but Virtual Com Port is not detected for UART communication.

Is it possible to disable JTAG completely on a SPC564B MCU using software?Reading the documentation about the censorship feature, it only seems to disable access to flash. Is it still possible to access SRAM and registers via JTAG when censorship is enabled?

Hello everyone,   Is it possible to program the SPC570Sxx series microcontrollers (specifically, SPC570S40E1) in Linux? I have been using PLS UDE-STK for programming under Windows but as far as I know there is no Linux version of that. Debugging capabilities are not important for me, I only want to be able to program the chip.   Thanks in advance

Has anyone had any luck setting up the SPC572L64E3 to run in Asynchronous SPI Slave Mode? I need interrupts to trigger for chip select assert/deassert, tx word push and rx word pull. I've tried using the TFFF and RFDF ISRs but it seems that the TFFF ISR will trigger several times before a word is ever transmitted, and several words will be transmitted before RFDF is triggered.

Bought SPC5-CONNECT but CD-ROM did not come with.So I ask,1. Is serial number for SPC5-CONEXPLORER in the CD-ROM which comes with SPC5-CONNECT?2. What are in the CD-ROM?Can anybody help me out?

Dear all,I just ordered the SPC58EC-DISP eval kit and thought it's time to start to setup my first program. I am trying to connect to the SPC58EC-DISP board through PLS UDE Starter kit to program and debug the Serial Test Application example provided with the SPC5 Studio IDE. After opening the debug.wsx in the example project file on PLS UDE, an error appears.(Seen in UDE error png and the connection failed report log)I can see the devices connected through device manager as "PLS USB JTAG Adapter for SPC5xxxx A".Please let me know why I can not connect to the boards.

Hello everybody,My name is Catalin and I work on an Automotive project on a gateway and I have a question regarding this microcontroler. So basically I have to wakeup the gateway every 600 seconds +/- 15 seconds and perform a voltage measurement. Hello, I did a fresh install of SPC5Studio 5.8 and I'm trying to install the Flash Driver from Eclipse Marketplace.But all I get is a:No repository found at http://spc5.drive.cloudforge.com/projects/spc5releases/SPC5Studio/updates5.I also tried to look in that folder (features, plugins, content.jar and artifacts.jar), but I could not find anything related to the Flash Driver anywhere.

Hello friendsI am working on a SPC560B50L5 microcontroller and I want to learn debugging it.According to"AN4035 Application note" I can do a single step by loading appropriate values in CPUSCR registers. I do everything that is mentioned in Document. for example toread a value from memory with lwz instruction I Enable OnCE, entere Debug Modeand enable external tool debugging and then put appropriate values in WBBRlow, IRand CTL , then I perform a Go+NoExit Writein OCMD. If everything Is OK(that I think is) I should have the read value inWBBRlow register. But I see no updates in WBBRlow value.Would you please help me if I’m wrong…Thanks so much

Using the PLS USB/JTAG probe on a SPC56EL, I'm unable to debug because I'm stuck into SPCSetRunMode(). Unplugging the probe, and resetting the MCU make the FreeRTOS demo run nicely. I'm aware of some errata about low-power issues, but I'm not sure the SPC5 Studio SERIAL demo makes use of any low-power feature.Any clue?

Just upgraded to 5.8.0 (the ONLY and LAST available version on ST website), and we ran into a lot of troubles. First of all, SPC5STUDIO updates URL had to be fixed because of the lack of trailing "/". Once fixed, we're still unable to install/update/download anything because of a 404 error. Who's the guy in charge of tests ?Before replying by a "please update to 5.8.1", be aware that there's no "5.8.1" version available at the ST website :Where's that 5.8.1 ?
