STM32 MCUs

Dear Community,I am currently working with the STM32WB5MMGH6TR module and using the STM32_WPAN middleware for Bluetooth functionality. Initially, after installing the middleware, Bluetooth advertising worked and the device was discoverable. However, it is no longer being discovered by any Bluetooth scanning tools.Upon further investigation, I found that the code is getting stuck in an infinite loop within the startup_stm32 file, and I suspect this could be either a clock configuration issue or a firmware-related problem.I attempted to update the firmware, and while the FUS (Firmware Upgrade Service) update proceeded successfully, the BLE stack update was not accepted because a higher version was already installed. This leads me to wonder if a mismatch between the versions of FUS and the BLE wireless stack could be causing the issue.I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions from the community to help me resolve this and resume testing.T

Downloaded the STM32Cube Motor Control SDK and installed the app which came up as ``Motor Pilot 6.3.2`.I connected the STM32 MCU board (B-G473E-ZEST1S) via USB to my desktop.When I launch the program it looks like this:It shows that there is ``No Connection`` to the board and the only option is for a UART on com3 or com4. When I try com3 and press Connect, the program closes.Any help would be greatly appreciated!BarryTedco Electric   

Hi everyone I want to program Stm32F103C8t6 via USB and STM32Cube programmer version 2.10.0. I am using "STM32 smart V2." I pulled up the Boot0 pin and disconnected and connected the USB cable to the board (the board's power comes from the USB, so it resets when the USB gets disconnected and connected ). Still, the Cube programmer can't find any DFU, and the windows  always come up with the message "USB not recognized."  let me know if you can suggest any solution Best regards

The application runs perfectly on the STM32H7S78-DK board.However, when I flash the same project onto the STM32H7R7L8 custom board, the application does not run as expected.  Hello ST Experts, I'm using STM32H747 and I try to run adc calibration at the start of the code, like under lines.     HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc3, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET_LINEARITY, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED);    HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc3, ADC_CALIB_OFFSET, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED); I'm wondering if there is a need to apply a specific voltage to the ADC input lines before calling the above functions.

Hi All,I search for STM32 MCU discovery kit which meets the following conditions.・It have a 4-inch or larger LCD screen.・It have 10 or more GPIO ports that user can use freely.・It have 2 or more UART ports that user can use freely.STM32U5G9J-DK2 have 16 GPIO ports, but only have 1 UART according to user manual.Is there anything else that meets the above conditions.Thanks in advance.

The UART2 IRQ Handler gets called consistently and never clears a few milliseconds after initialization. If the debugger is not present on the RX line, the program always gets stuck in the IRQ Handler forever, until I touch the RX pin with my finger.  Then the program begins executing normally. On our STM32WL5MOCH-based board, the debug port (UART2) pins are left floating.  Here is the beginning of our main.c, which only uses default STM32CubeMX generated driver files, nothing custom.  Please note the included project .ioc file in this post.  

Hi, I designed a board with uC STM32H743 that works with a 480x800 display connected through the LTDC peripheral, I don't quite know how to use the LTDC, I don't have ram for the buffer of the entire display. What I can do is fill the background with color, but on layer1 I can only display one buffer at a time, when I display another one, the previous one disappears. In various videos I see that even small uCs can handle a larger display without a large buffer. My question is, what should the procedure for loading smaller buffers into layer1 look like?

Hello,This might seem like a silly question but when using the pin names generated by cube IDE for the RMII interface does TXDx connect to TXDx on the PHY or RXDx? On the schematic for the NUCLEO board it seems that the microcontroller pin in named the same as the pin which it connects to on the PHY. Is this the case? Thank you. This really worrying me as I would feel pretty *** if I connect TX to TX and it didn't work.

Hi everyone, I am trying to use the m5 stack hall sensor to measure the speed and distance that an athlete is going. I want to attach the hall sensor to the drum of the machine and measure it. I am having some trouble with getting zero values even when I move the magnet. The source code I found was arduino but I changed it for it to work on the STM32IDE. I am using TIM4 for my timers and PB7 to read in the digital values, also it is good to mention that i have the PB7 as a GPIO EXTI. Hello there, I am working with STM32 TouchGFX with STM32L496ZG-P with AT25Q128A NOR Flash, using this setup my application is to fetch the large amount of data (touchGFX images) from the external flash (AT25Q128A NOR Flash) and to dump it inside the main mcu before the compilation. I created loader file using "Controllers Tech Tutorial" https://controllerstech.com/w25q-flash-series-part-10-qspi-ext-loader-in-h750/ . On inserting the external loader file in the debug configurations, by enabling the two check boxes of "Enable" and "Initialize" (refer to the image attached herewith) my HAL_delay() is not working, further i came to know that, it is because of not reception of the interrupt (so that the "uwTick" is not getting incremented) from the sysTick, but when i tried pressing the onboard reset button, the code continues execution

I am putting the STM32WB55 into a space sensitive application so i would like things as small as possible. The application note (AN5129) is very good for a PCB antenna, but I would like a chip antenna to be as small as possible (cost is less of an issue).Are there any recommended chip antennas (or even better, reference designs using them) for the STM32WB?Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm trying to read four analog signals on my STM32F722RET7 using ADC1 with four consecutive channels and outputting the results over UART.Even though the input voltages remain constant, the ADC readings fluctuate without any change in the input signal. Can you please suggest a solution for this?

I am working on a project using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q MCU, where I am trying to receive data from an 8-bit DCMI interface using GPDMA in circular mode or normal mode. The data is being captured from an 8-bit parallel bus, and I am using GPDMA to transfer this data into memory. However, I am facing issues with the DMA interrupt not triggering and the data not being received properly.I have configured the DMA in circular mode and linked it to the DCMI, but it seems that the DMA transfer is not functioning as expected. I’ve tried various configurations, but I am still unable to get it working.If anyone has worked on a similar setup using the STM32U5G9ZJT6Q and has successfully received data from DCMI using GPDMA in circular mode or normal, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your code or any insights on how to properly configure and troubleshoot this.

I've been working with the Nucleo STM32H533 and came across a documentation issue. EXTICR1 and EXTICR4 are shown as having the same address on pages 18.6.15 and 18.6.18 of the reference manual. Additionally, in the Special Function Register tab in STM32CubeIDE, they are also labeled incorrectly. However, they are correctly labeled in the register map section of the reference manual.This threw me off for a while—I wasn’t seeing any changes in the EXTICR4 register while debugging. When I manually modified the bits in EXTICR4, the changes were mirrored in EXTICR1. It wasn’t until I checked the memory browser that I realized the register was being set correctly when using the register map address and noticed the inconsistencies elsewhere.

Hello,I am working with the STM32-Nucleo-H7S3L8 board.I am using the template project from the repository, which includes the Boot project, Appli project, and the External Memory Loader project.The clock was configured in the Boot project.I want to change the clock prescalers from within the Appli project, but I can't manage to do it.After I added code to update the clock, nothing happened—I verified this by checking the RCC registers.My question is: why can't I change the clock configuration from the Appli project?
