Dear al!i need your help, i design PCB use STM32H755ZIT6, i set up mode PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPLLY_LDO via STM32CubeMX 6.12.1. I expect core M7's clock is 400Mhz, M4's clock is 200Mhz. I measure voltage after L2 is 1.8V, at each Vcap pin is 1.0V, The MCU warmed up to about 35 degrees Celsius and chip didn't run. can you share me my mistake, this is the first time which i handle with SMPS block

Hi everyone, I am encountering a critical issue with the IWDG on an STM32U375 using STM32CubeMX v6.17.0 and a Segger J-Link Base. The scenario: I am testing the Watchdog behavior across Standby cycles. I have configured the Option Bytes via software to freeze the watchdog during low power modes: IWDG_SW: 1 (Software mode) IWDG_STOP_FREEZE: 0 (Counter stops in Stop mode) IWDG_STDBY_FREEZE: 0 (Counter stops in Standby mode) The Issue: When the system is in IWDG_STDBY_FREEZE mode, the following happens: The MCU wakes up from Standby correctly. I enter a test while(1) loop without refreshing the IWDG. At the exact moment the IWDG timeout should occur (10s), the MCU enters an unrecoverable state.

Hi,I do not plan to use USB or CSI, and the board only receives 1.8V power. So, I asked how to connect the VDD33USB pin, and I was told to just connect it to GND. However, I have two more questions.I currently have the VDDA18USB and VDDA18CSI pins connected to 1.8V. Is it okay to leave them as they are, or would it be better to connect them to GND? (have to consider leakage in the Stop mode)Also, should I connect VDDCSI to GND as well?Thanks in advance.

I'm working on a project using the STM32U385 and I'm trying to find a way to detect a specific condition and save data while the device stays in a low-power Stop mode — without waking up the CPU to do the saving.Is there any peripheral combination or hardware feature on the STM32U385 that allows:1. Detecting a condition (e.g., via Comparator, ADF, or LPTIM) while in Stop mode2. Saving/writing data to memory autonomously — still in Stop mode, without waking up the CPUIf this is not possible natively, is there a recommended approach or workaround for this use case on the STM32U3 series?Thanks in advance!

Hello, I wanna use the development board STM32N6570-DK for taking a picture with MB1854B. i am quite new for DCMI and DCMIPP. i just want to read the image through the pipe1 of dcmipp but i dont know how to config the MCU in .ioc file. Can anyone explain or give me an example for that? 

Split from this post. Thank you for your help, I didn't know this mode and it works well. I did a measure every 5s. I use Timer1 for injected mode and timer3 for DMA mode. I've just a little difference of measure. With the ADC, I have the following value : 944, that's to say (with ratio = 4), ((944 * 3.3) / 4096) = 0.7605 * 4 = 3.04V. My sampling is 480cycles.(if I put only 3 cyles, the measure is lower (2.88V)). Or with my multimeter, I have 3.20V.

Hello everyone, I am working with the STM32H743BIT6 using the LTDC peripheral to drive an RGB display. The display I am using does not have HSYNC and VSYNC signals and operates only in DE (Data Enable) mode. I have attached the display datasheet for reference. Based on the datasheet timing specifications, I configured the LTDC parameters accordingly. Since the display does not use HSYNC and VSYNC, I configured them as constant high signals (logic 1) and set the rest of the LTDC timing parameters as specified. However, the display is not showing any image. The backlight turns on, but the screen remains black. Hi team,  We have our own customized USBPD board (STM32L562CET6) which support both SPR(100W) and EPR(140W). SPR is working great, now we want to work on 140W using EPR mode. I am planning to do an aging test which need capture the voltage of a net, but i found STM32U585OIY6QTR report a value about 40 while the actual voltage of ADC channel is close to VREF.Then i write a simple ADC demo to verify ADC configuration, and run my code on B-U585I-IOT02A board(based on STM32U585AII6Q), it report a correct value, but the same code report a wrong value on my board.I use ADC1  CHANNEL2(GPIOC GPIO_PIN_1) on both board.The only difference between B-U585I-IOT02A and my hardware is the different VREF i think(B-U585I-IOT02A use 3.3V, but my board use 2.5V).Is there any difference on ADC usage between STM32U585AII6Q and STM32U585OIY6QTR?You can find my ioc file and code in attachment, can anyone help me check my configuration?

Hi everybody,I read 15 analog channels with DMA on my STM32f446. It works very well (It's tiggrered by TIM3 every 200ms).So I'd like to add Vbat. First, I've added it as the 16th channel of DMA, it works, but I saw the battery voltage decreases (around 0.05V in two hours), so I think I read it too often.So I'd like to read it periodically (every minute for example).I'm trying to read my 15 first channels with DMA and then a classic read for Vbat, but the value is always wrong (around 560 instead of 1000).Is it possible to do that (two different means to read ADC) ?Thank you,

Hi ST team,I am seeing what appears to be a silicon-level issue on STM32H563RGV6, revision X, related to the SWAP_BANK option byte.When SWAP_BANK is enabled, a USB OUT endpoint stops being re-armed during a flash mass erase of the inactive bank. The USB ISR still executes, but the BULK OUT path wedges because the OUT endpoint is no longer re-armed. Hi,  I have an stm32g473 which use the clock of another system as external clock on PF0 / OSC_IN. This clock is them multiplied by 74 through the PLL. I need to synchronize my code with the external clock (i.e. wait for it to rise).  What is the simplest way to do this? Can I use PF0 both as OSC_IN and as an GPIO in input mode to generate an event on the rising edge? or should I root the clock to both OSC_IN and another GPIO?  Are there other possibilities did not find in the reference manual (e.g. using the HSE as a trigger to one of the timer or an event I could WFE on ?)Thanks.

I was wondering if there is any possibility to change the NCS from NCS1_port2 to NCS2_port2 using the OTP registers on the STM32N6.I checked the registers but couldn’t find any option to adjust this. Dear ST,The STM32H5 overview page seems to display the wrong number(1) of CANFD controllers for STM32H5E4 in the line comparison table. The datasheet says it's 3,  like for all the others  in the STM32H5E/F lines.Also, I couldn't find anything in the errata sheet about non usable CAN instances.

 Hello Forum,I want to use a Nucleo 64 STM32F401 Board to test I2C connection with an unknown master (reverse engineering).The Bus consits of 1 Master (unknown Controller) an 1 Slave (My STM32F40). The Master sends out a Read Request at Addr. 5 and the Slave should respond with 3 Bytes. I've connected the I2C Bus to PB6/PB7 of the Nucleo Board. On Softwareside I Initialized with bare metal Code, see attachment.I my setup a I2C Master sends out a Adress byte with read request to address 5, but my Controller doesn't do a thing at all. I would expect at least an ACK Bit, but nothing can be monitored.From the Signal capture

Hello,We programmed our STM32L011 microcontroller with firmware that enters STOP mode and waits for an interrupt.However, we accidentally disabled the interrupt on the PA4 line. As a result, the device now immediately enters STOP mode, and we are unable to reprogram it.Could you please advise how we can recover the device in this situation?Thank you in advance.

 Hello!We are using an STM32L0 microcontroller as a power switch.The device works correctly when the firmware is started from STM32CubeIDE using the Run command.However, if we switch the power supply off and then back on, the STM32L0 does not boot.We suspect there may be an issue related to the reset circuit.Please see the attached schematic. I'm looking at Rev 9 of the STM32L412xxx Datasheet, as linked on Digikey, and I'm having a hard time understanding the current consumption figures specified for the Low-power Run & Low-power Sleep modes on the MCU.  Per the table on pg.24 (shown below), the current draw is 83uA/MHz in LPRun mode, which is higher even than the normal Run mode up to 26MHz (range2), which doesn't make sense to me.  Further, the current draw in LPSleep mode is also 83uA/MHz, which suggests there's no power savings putting the MCU to sleep in Low-power mode?  Can somebody tell me what I'm missing here, or is this a typo and one or both of those figures are wrong?

I am using the STM32H753VGT6 microcontroller and need to generate two PWM signals with the same frequency and duty cycle, with a 90-degree phase shift between them, using a single timer. Is this possible? If yes, how can it be achieved?

Dear Team ST,We are using the STM32 MCU (Part No. STM32F407VET6) on our custom board, and we are currently facing an issue related to the reset function.During board power-on or after program loading, the MCU appears to enter a hold or non-responsive state. This issue occurs every time the board is powered OFF and then powered ON. However, when the hardware reset button is pressed, the MCU starts functioning as expected.We kindly request your support in identifying the root cause of this issue. I would like to enable spread spectrum on the STM32H573RIT6.We are currently running on 250Mhz and at that frequency we have big peak which is 15dB above the limit, that's why I would be able to enable the spread spectrum. I looked into the STM32H7 example, so I am already aware and able to modify the PLL realtime. Now my question is how do I connect the DMA of the STM32H5 properly to a timer and a buffer to load the PLL. And also a question I have, what are good values for the PLL.  

Hello,I must implement a SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) to output a measured value. As SSI in principle is just a bitstream which is clocked out with the serial clock, I wanted to use a SPI in slave mode, as the clock comes from the SSI master.This works in principle, but from time to time I get a bit shift and the received data is delayed by one bit, which results in a division by two.Checking the SSI data clock, I didn't find an expected unstable clock with additional edges but from time to time the SSI master makes a pause after the first falling edge before it starts clocking. Could it be that this pause disturbes the SPI interface? I would have expected, that the SPI in slave mode only checks the clock edges and that the time between the clock edges isn't that critical?
