hello i wand to use stm32h7 series LQFP package to connect RGB888 display first time i try with this chip   the alternate pins is not close to each other.. and for optimal high speed pcb traces, it be nice this pins to be close or im mistaken and not use correct alternate pin function id like a consult  thanks       

STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.12.0Build: 14980_20230301_1550 (UTC)I have a STM32F407 Discovery board running a web server.  I have a simple webpage with a single button that when clicked, displays a text message below the button. I had issues with the server at first due to the const keywords that were in the fsdata.c file, but it is working fine now.Where is the buffer for the incoming button click and the text message located? Is there a weak callback function somewhere that handles incoming data? I want to intercept the message and take action based on the incoming data.I used STM32CubeIDE to create the server and accepted all of the default settings.  

Hi dear experts,I want to know is there a way to only program Bank2 and run the firmware from it? I manage to program Bank2 and set the BFB2=1 but i cant get the firmware to run. Am i making a mistake by not programming the Bank1 at all? i should mention that i used a right linker file for Bank2 firmware and i have also take a look the AN4767 and AN2606.  Do I need any additional code to be programmed to Bank1 even if I'm not using it at all?

Hi community!Currently, I am using a MCU STM32L083 and I am trying to implement a bootloader. The firmware to be updated is encrypted with a AES-128 algorithm. The firmware is encrypted one time with a unique key for each divice and a second time for the model of the device. Is it possible to use two different keys?Basically I need to use key1 to descrypt a block of data and then use key2 on that block to get the plain text. Thank you in advance.Alan.

I use Portenta H7 MCU module. I use it with a STM32CubeIDE project (not Arduino).I do not like the Arduino IDE - LOL, I am missing several features, esp. not possible to use a HW debugger and to step through my code, no support for HW breakpoints etc. Never mind: I have a full STM32 HAL and STM32CubeIDE based project. I can use external ST-LINK (with Breakout Board).Portenta H7 comes with an Arduino bootloader flashed: you can flash a new user BIN file (FW) via tool "dfu-util.exe".I want to keep it, because it is convenient and no need for my users to have a ST-LINK dongle. They can update the FW any time themselves (via USB-C, needed anyway for power and UART command line).But: I want to use also remote connections, e.g. VNC to the computer where the Portenta H7 is connected (in a lab). I cannot press the reset button quickly twice (I am remote). But I want to activate the Arduino bootloader in MCU flash

Unfortunately, I wrongly designed the PCB board So, the boot0 pin is currently floating (no connectable evenif temporaliy because of BGA pin layout).I'm getting trouble with programming. So, I want to know whether the programming error is happening due to the boot0 pin.Is there any problem when boot0 pin is floating?

I have been stuck on a tricky little issue for some time now.Using an STM32H753, on a reasonably large and complex application, when trying to erase the upper flash bank, the watchdog expires resetting the chip!My suspicion is that the CPU is stalling during the erase (~5s), but watchdog keeps going until it resets.I am running low on ideas to debug this, I am open to any help. Here are some things of significance:This is a long and established firmware, this issue only came about after some recent changes. Until then flash erase has worked flawlessly for years.Rolling back versions and changes does not help highlight the issue. It seems to be more related to flash memory placement. Even inserting one assembly instruction can cause/stop this problem.Watchdog has EWI interrupt enabled. This fires if I force a watchdog to occur. Hi, we use 12 ADC channels to measure temperatures in a smart home project. The system clock of the STM32F071V8Tx is configured at 48 MHz. Due to the slow temperature curve, we use the longest sampling time. We have taken a conversion table from a data sheet of the controller, which contains which bit value of the ADC is supplied at which input voltage.So at 1.74V 2082 tics should be delivered. However, the ADC only delivers 2159 tics. The difference of 23 tics is outside the tolerance specified by ST. The configuration can be seen in the following diagram. The controller is operated

Dear Experts,I have 4 inch RPI LCD 480x320 SPI based on the ILI9486 display driver. Like inside ArduinoIDE, there is a Library manager where we can find so many TFT-LCD libraries with STM32 board support, Is there a common place to find libraries for STM32CubeIDE? Or a way to import ArduinoIDE libraries to CubeIDE. Or suggest to me any TFT-LCD library that works on CubeIDE. @TDK 

how does fmc work does it use spi?

Is the maximum APB frequency setting 36MHz or 50MHz? See the dm00031020, page 863. FREQ[5:0]: Peripheral clock frequency..."Higher than 0b100100: Not allowed"0b100100 corresponds to 36MHz, not 50MHz. Hopefully this is just a document error. We are using APB1 at 45MHz. Hello,I am developing a serial communication driver using USART.I have enabled FIFO and RTO interrupt, to handle reception.TRM says that the received data is stored in the RXFIFO together with the corresponding flags and that PE, FE, NE bits in ISR register are associated with the character in the RDR register.I would like to know which is the correct way to handle rx error.In particular, when the RTO event occours (reception done), for each character present in the RXFIFO, should I first read the RDR register and then check the error flags in the ISR register, or viceversa?Regards,Carlo 

Hello,I am using a NUCLEO-H743ZI2 and program on the STM32CubeIDE1.13.2The purpose of my project is to create a 2kHz sine and to sample it at 40kHz at the same time.I would like to have no delay between the 12bits DAC and the 12bits ADC: that the first point of my sampled sine is my first point of my buffer read by the DAC. So a phase of 0°.In order to start the ADC and DAC at the same time I use TIM1, running on the internal clock of 32MHz, which after a delay of 2 seconds triggers an event TR0, one pulse mode.TIM2 is the timer which triggers the reading of the DAC, and is triggered by TR0, reading the DMA buffer for DAC at 400kHz (presc=0, Counter=79)TIM3 is the timer which triggers the reading of the ADC, and is triggered by TR0, reading the ADC value and writing in the DMA at 40Hz. I need live time from ntp server and we trying to read to read the response after sending a 48 characters response. IPD,0,48:è,Mú#Þé©b½.8Û?ÍÔas·éªÍÔbÆb. This is the response fo it but I am not able to read the whole string.I am able to read till only 48. How do I read whole string.

Hello everyone, I'm working on an STM32H755BI (industrial temperature range), and i'm quite disappointed by the maximum clock reachable from the system.As can be seen, the MCU can reach up to 480MHz in the core M7 and 240MHz in the core M4.After months of develpment, a firmware package update blocked me the VOS0 and VOS1, and in fact reading the user manual those modes are unavailable on my package, so i reduced to 300MHz and 150MHz

Can M4 write to part of Bank 1 when M7 code is running from Bank 1? Idea is to define apartition at the end of Bank 1 and M4 write to it while M7 reads from it.
