STM32 MCUs Products

I am using STM32F446RE microcontroller and using MATLAB to develop the logic. Upon launching StmCubeMx, I have kept the clock frequency as 90MHz and 10% duty cycle for TIM1, TIM2, TIM3. So, it gives same output frequency of the pulses (PWM_Output.png) from each PWM. Model screenshot is also attached (model.PNG). All 3 timer settings have been kept same as shown in (Timer_setting.PNG). I want all the 3 pulses shall be in phase. How can I achieve that?Hoping to hear soon!Thanks in advance! 

I have both STM32F1038T6 and STM32F401CC. I have been trying to get a code to run from ram for days now. Im using arduino ide with stm32duino.  i first create a buffer in ram with malloc then  copy the code to the buffer using memcpy. Hi everyone I'm trying to use external debugger with my stm32 disc1 board. The problem is if i only connect the stlink and my board i can't debug it, but if I power the board with another usb port i can access it.So my question is why do i have to power the board with external source and how can i power it only using stlink debugger.

Posted on April 13, 2015 at 14:00In one of our embedded systems we use a MR256A08B MRAM in conjunction with a STM32F437 microcontroller. Sometimes (increasing with temperature) we are observing the problem that we cannot write to discrete bits of the MRAM.We assume a timing issue.The datasheet of the MRAM specifies a write recovery time tWHAX (address hold time after write high) of at least 12 ns. The controller gives us only 6 ns (tHCLK + 0.5 ns), with the current timing settings.Is there a chance to extend the 6 ns without cutting the HCLK-frequency from 180 MHz down to maybe 80 MHz? Could the BusTurnAround parameter do this job? Unfortunately the datasheet does not clearly show what is happening during the bus turn around time.

I am using STM32H7 and using the M4 core to output GPIO to control peripherals.I share data between the two cores using the share memory protocol.On the M4 core, I have turned off all interrupts and only control GPIO, but when measured, there is still a delay of a few milliseconds => the output is incorrect in timing. And notably, this only happens when I enable DMA from SPI on the M7 core.Can you tell me the reason and provide a solution?

  I has been devloping an ECG program with ADS1292R and STM32H723VGT6.I has been struggling with a problem. The ADS1292R uses SPI and it's register can be read if I use STM32C8T6 which configuerd by libray finction.But when I configuer program with H723,the question is coming-----my H723 can't read the registers of H723.I've checked  the datasheet of ADS1292R over an over again,and also asked TI support for help, I can promise that there are no faluts about the configuration of ADS1292.So the problem must be in the configuration of SPI.After debugging ,I noticed that the receive cache has been empty when I tried to read the registers of my SPI device.I really don't know why,it seemed that there wasn't changes of SCLK's wave when the command coming.I've enable the spi but it was useless.I really can't undersantand and don't know where the errors being.Plead help me and check my code.

Hi, I am trying to use STM32F103C8T6 standby mode and wake it up with wake up feature of RTC, but in CubeMX I don't see that this MCU would have wake up feature under RTC settings. How do I wake up this MCU from standby with RTC and wake up pin?  

Hello,I need guidance on how to best implement a packet protocol to keep the data on multiple STM32F373 in sync with each other.  If possible, I would like to reach a 'refresh rate' of 30ms.  Packet payloads for data refreshed could be up to 50 bytes.I currently have 1 'master' uC, and it connects to about 20 slave 'module' devices over SPI as master-slave.   The master also connects to up to 12 'control panel' devices over a second SPI.  The modules gather and output data while the control panels allow the user to read and change values on the modules. I would like to refresh the control panels and modules as fast as possible. ( 30ms would be ideal )The issue seems to be that polling 10 or more devices at 115200baud will result in jitter even with packets as small as a few bytes.  Having each module send ALL data on each poll cycle seems inefficient when the data has not changed, but at the same time including all

I noticed that STM32U5G9 MCUs are already available for purchase. That is, STM32U5G9J-DK1, STM32U5G9J-DK2 and several bare bone chips.1) In CubeMX those products are still marked as 'coming soon' but this is the least of the problems.2) The most simple CubeMX-generated project does not build. stm32u5xx.h file is missing, stm32u5g9xx.h file is nowhere to be found, Drivers\CMSIS\Device\ST\STM32U5xx\Include folder is empty. Am I missing something? Was STM32U5G9 CubeMX support ever tested? I used the latest HAL package 1.4, I believe STM32U5G9 support was added in version 1.3.3) Where do I find the detailed GPU2D documentation describing the details of the new vector graphics functionality? I was unable to find any details on GPU2D, even the one available in STM32U5A9 (no vector graphics) released a year ago. 

Hello ST community,I can't find on the st.com website the documentation showing the electronic circuit of the STM32F411RE, especially for the user button. In which document can I find it?On the web it seems that schematics from google image show that the user button on the STM32F411RE only has pull-up resistor. Is it true?The pull-down mode when configured in MX_GPIO_Init() isn't working.CU,MH     

I have an STM32H745 (Dual Core).. I'd like to verify the integrity of the M7 Core's Flash memory.Is there any built in way of getting the checksum (perhaps something that St-Link Cube Programmer uses), or is the only way to write my own function? 

Hi,Im new to stm forums so sorry if i make any mistakes.Im using a stm32f103RET6 since i am familiar with f103 and i need usb/other peripherals. Thus far everything works great. However...Im trying to offload some work from cpu to DMA by sending a premade array to the timer, it works fine for the most part except if the very first bit of the transfer (the first DMA byte) is a 1, due to an issue the pin after going high as expected in the same period it goes low and high again when it it not asked, thus confusing the ic's interpreting it as 2x 0bits.If that is unclear i attached a screenshot showing the dip. Some things i made sure of/tested already:- It is not a hardware issue, i designed the pcb myself and the trace to the first led is very short and away from any other digital line- I disabled all other code/generated a minimum POC and the problem persists- The period/baud is set and never modified by the code- I do not change th

So, I'm trying to read data from a dht11 sensor. In the datasheet says that you have to send high signal, wait 80ms, then low signal, and dht11 will start sending data.My problem is, I don't know how to debug this. I don't know how to see if I my sensor is sending me data. How can I see this using STM32Cube IDE?

Hi,I'm having trouble getting PWM output on my STM32F303. I'm using CubeMX for pin config, then generating for Make for use with VSCode on Ubuntu. TIM1_CH3 has been configured for PWM output on PC2, and TIM1_CH2 on PC1. CH2 works as expected, while CH3 seems dead as a doorknob other than picking up some noise from CH2. Same config for the two channels (could they even be different?), and I'm calling the starter functions as follows, shortly after the CubeMX-generated init function:   HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_2);//MTR2 HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_3);//MTR2  Any reasons for this to be happening? I noticed quite a few people have a problem with TIM1_CH3, but they always seem to do the initialization themselves, which I figured MX would do for me.

My question might sound "strange" for HW experts.My STM32U5A5 MCU has DCache (16KByte). Datasheet says: used when external memory is connected (e.g. NAND/NOR flash, OCTOSPI).DCache is not used for internal memory (when running from MCU flash or internal SRAM, obvious: not needed, internal SRAM seems to be with same speed as MCU = no DCache needed).But: 16KByte of memory is provided in chip as DCache:How could I use this memory without any external memory device used, not connecting external memory?16KByte, provided as DCache, would give me an option to place the stack region on it (large enough).So, the "idea" is:There is not any external memory connected.But I enable DCache and I read/write via the intended base address (for external memory).I use the MPU and configure in a way, that this base address is a "write-through" regionI mean

It has been asked several times, however I can not find a working solution for me.With STM32L486RGT6 I achieved to implement jump to bootloader, entering DFU mode successfully. All fine!Doing it similar for STM32L071CZY6TR and STM32F469VE it does not remain in bootloader, but starts the application from flash. Environment: Boot0 = 0 fixed. Application is stored in Bank1.Debugging STM32L071 I see the jump to 0x1ff0’0510. Stepping forward ends up in a small loop. Disconnecting the debugger, the application starts from flash. Hello tinkerer,i am working with the Stm32Wb55 and trying to send data via Bluetooth, unfortunately when i run or debugg my code, most of the time i lose after 30 seconds the connection because the GATT procedure issues a timeout. In terms of the read property i found a solution with aci_gatt_deny_read() but it only works on read and it does not help me further with write.I am looking for a solution where i can avoid to get disconnected while my program is running, so i can comprehend my code better. Is there a possibility to avoid the timeout after 30 seconds or have you other ideas to solve the problem.best regards Alex
