Hello,I will use stm32g473VC ADC2 working together with DMA.I configure ADC2, Input3 at Pin PA6 and DMA2 Channel1 to read 100 Samples from ADC after Start.At first call after cpu reset I receive the expected result:ADC:Value 4034 for Items 0->99, as you can see in following output.  Hello,I have designed a PCB with 3 STM32H725VGT6 MCUs, and assembled them according to my schematic:(sorry for this resolution, this is from a converted pdf)All 3 MCUs are the same, from this schematic.R5 and R2 are just 0R jumpers to select the boot mode.At first, ST-Link couldn't find any of them.  When I checked the voltage on the Vcap pin the MCU1 had 1.0008 V at both 2.2uF caps. STLINK still can't find the target. MCU2 and MCU3 had 0.0000V. on the Vcap pins.All 3 MCUs have their:- Orientation in the right place

Looks to me like the FDCAN peripheral has a few registers that are marked 'r' when they are likely 'rw' in the RM. They are the registers that configure the size of the FDCAN messages. This isn't blocking my work; only thought the ST team should know so they can fix it if it is indeed a typo. 

Trying to implement a composite HID device on STM32F042 (or maybe STM32F072 as both Flash and RAM usage seem insane), starting from the MX mouse middleware. After much scratching around it's finally working as a mouse and keyboard and I now need to add remote wakeup from a few buttons. Unfortunately the middleware has no support for it, nor any hints as to how to implement it. There are a number of posts on here in a similar vain but none really provide any solutions. I'm experienced with HID implementations on much simpler 8-bit devices (Cypress) of the 'bare metal' variety and am finding using other people's muddleware very hard going. Not a spelling mistake, by the way. Hi I have Windows 10 with all windows updates . Antivirus is disabled.When i try to install the stm32 st-link utility 4.6.0 it starts to install but before there should be device driver installation wizard i get a msg But i dont know what block this or why this is happend. there is no logs. Please help me is a urgent . And this windows below i can close only when i start task manager as administrator and kill the process. I also try it to install it when i log in in pc as local administrator. but the error is the same. on other fresh installed pc i can install it without pr

Posted on August 07, 2013 at 21:21 I'm confused about the FIFO error flag (FEIF) when I set up DMA for direct mode transfers. As I understand it, in direct mode the FIFO is disabled. But for some reason, if I enable the FE interrupt in the DMA_SxFCR register then shortly after I enable DMA I see the FIFO error flag get set. Any ideas why? Is this flag a don't care in direct mode? To give you an idea of the application, I store a bunch of data in a SPI flash that I send to a codec over I2S. The I2S transfer happens using DMA. Hi!I'm an EE designing a PCB. Referencing the datasheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/stm32l412k8.pdfSection 7.4 on page 178, UFQFPN48, the Exposed Pad (EP) says that it should be connected to GND.Section 7.6 on page 184, UFQFPN32 (the chip that I'm using) the EP function isn't mentioned. Should I connect this to GND or leave it floating?My gut instinct is to connect it to GND, though has anyone had any experience with EPs and the ST standard way of dealing with them?Thank you for any assistance in advance.Pete.

Hi,i'm trying to upload my firmware with FDCAN system bootloader in STM32H563.As this article(https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeprogrammer-mcus/fdcan-programming-support/td-p/199854) says that ST link debugger and STM32 cube programmer don't support FD CAN bootloader.is there a way(custom GUI program or something like STM32 cube programmer and custom debugger like ST link) to use FDCAN system bootloader?

Heyho,just checking the migration guide AN5293 for some peripherals I have not yet ported from F7 to H7:if not mentioned in the document, are the peripherals completely and 100% identical (registers & bits) ?Just checked for I2C, and it is not mentioned (except there's an additional I2C5 on H7 or so).

 When I send data from esp32 to stm32, it works fine. But when esp32 initially receives data from stm32 using uart, the data seems to have some random characters.When i send 75, it looks like this in serial monitor:Received: %$^#^12Received: 12Received: 12I used KeilC and ArduinoIDE. I have developed a custom controller that uses the STM32G474RE to regulate the output voltage of two power supplies.I am now developing the code to implement a peak-current mode controller for each of the two power supplies.  Is there a way that I can use the one FMAC to implement the required filtering for both power supplies?If not, I suppose that I can use PID control on one of the two power supplies.Any suggestions would be welcome...Thank you,David 

I have connected 100k NTC  with 100K PU resistance. ADC is measuring voltage on NTC is 1580 mV. While multimeter shows 1410 mV. 1410mV is correct number as it gives 32 degC  temperature.I am using ADC in polling mode. I added HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start also and ADC measurement changes to 1650 mV. please suggest on how to remove error.

Hii everyone!We are working on CAN , and MCU is stm32f103When we are taking output on blue-pill Tx and Rx pin Data is comingBut when are are doing same on custom board data is not showing ,we are uploading same firmware and clock configuration is also sameFor testing ,In custom board when we are Toggling Tx and Rx pin of CAN that is PA12 and PA11 with same speed pluses are showing ,we check code and there is also no error.Can you tell me what is the issue ,why data is not receiving on Tx and Rx pin of custom board??

In our system with SMT32G041F6P6 powered by a battery, device gets to hung state when kept idle for few hours or days (randomly). We have already implemented a window  watchdog to detect any faults. Even with watchdog enabled, we are getting this hang issue. ( In this hang state, we couldn't see any kind of LED UI indications upon pressing the button which is the expected behaviour in idle state)When the NRST was checked , it was HIGH at that instant. At the instant, battery level is adequate. The device was only recovered by doing software reset. 

I need to make 2 DAC channels 4bit each. I plan to use QSPI in double flash mode.Task is to play prerecorded samples from RAM cyclically. Samplerate is 45Msamples/secondI plan to use DMA in circular mode to send data from RAM to QSPIAre there limitations on summary samples count? Because I see data size fields in QSPI  registersAre there any other limitations for my setup?

I have been trying to use the FatFS file system to create a new file on the SD card, or to read a simple txt file on the SD card. However, I seem to be running into issues after mounting the SD card. Initially, I ran code to:- mount sd card in main- open file in while loopand sent value of testmount, fr via UART to confirm 1 or otherwise. I was able to receive a pass message or '1' for mount, but would not receive any of the test messages or the value of fr once the f_open line was reached.I was unsure if I had issues with incorrectly mounting the SD card, so I then- mounted SD card in main - used f_getfree function to see information about volume size in main.Likewise, I was getting 1/receiving the pass mount message, but nothing after the getfree function.What are some reasons this could be happening? Is there an issue with how I am mounting my SD card? Are there issues elsewhere? When I use the debugger it breaks at the

HI,I am using a STM32F446RE which is the 64pin package.AN4760 states that "LQFP64 supports only Bank1 and Single-SPI/Dual-SPI only"Does this mean that I am unable to use the QSPI on this chip to be memory mapped?When configuring the chip in CubeMX, QSPI comes up, but obviously only uses NCS, IO0, IO1, and CLKI have searched as much as I am able to, but have been unable to find anything definitive. Good morning,I'm trying to develop a simple Hello World printf example by writting "Hello World" into the port0 of ITM. There are several tutorials telling that 0xE000EDFCU is the base address to set the bit TRCENA to 1. However, when I try to debug my application using the ST-LINK and the SWV ITM Data Console, the port 0 does not display the message, even if the trace is enabled. Is it 0xE000EDFCU the correct base address? The Reference Manual does not contain any information about it. I am trying to use the cryptographic hash processor on the STM32h723xx, however, I cannot find the registers like HASH_CR defined in the device header files.Can someone please advise If I should be using the register definition from another MCU device file, Do the hash features exist in this MCU?If they do not exist what other MCUs from the same H7 family would have this feature?Thanks   

I want to use STM32F407V in USB device MSC mode. The device has battery to run the MCU. To fetch data from device, it will be connected to LAPTOP by USB cable.Please confirm below configuration for schematic1) Connect PA9 to VBUS on USB connector,  perferably by voltage divider so voltage never exceed 5V. But whats the purpose of PA9 connecting to Vbus , I am not sure..2) Do not need any pull up on USB_DP, as MCU has internal pull up as mentioned in datasheet. I hope I am not missing any point.  Thanks 

Hello,I'm working with the nucleo_h563zi board and Zephyr (3.6).  I'm trying to build using MCU Boot and firmware update. I  have been able to successfully build MCUBoot and flash it to the device. That boots but fails with the "Unable to find bootable image" which is expected as there is no application flashed at this point. Next, I am able to build and flash my application to the board.  I'm using the Zephyr Blinky sample as a minimal test.  I've made sure to configure the partitions and MCUBoot options correctly. When I flash it to the board, however, I get the following error:
