To focus on this goal I am looking for the registers map available with STM32L0 series.In the reference Manuel are documented each peripherals with their registers through offset address, but not the reference address for each kind of peripheral. Hello,I am working on STM32F030R8T6 with HAL.We are trying to read ADC values from the 4 ADC channels and 5th channel as VREFINT.The ADC is configured in continuous DMA read by using:HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc, (uint32_t *)ADC_Buffer, 5);Our AVDD = 3.3 thus giving us resolution of 0.805mV for 12bit configuration.My problem is that we are getting wrong values for the given input voltage.and for VrefInt as well we are getting value of 1706, which seems quite high.Can someone please guide me where can I go wrong?

Hi!I am looking into the possibility on using LPTIM1 to trigger a DMA transfer with no CPU interrupt. This timer is chosen because it can be clocked directly by the HSE clock input. In the datasheet of STM32H7B3 (DS13139 - Rev 8) table 4, it states that LPTIM1 cannot be used for DMA request generation. In table 103 in the reference manual (RM0455 Rev 11) lptim1_out is listed as as a resource. Does this mean that it is not possible to use an output from LPTIM1 directly as an DMA request generator, but it is possible when using the DMA mux?Any clarification would be appreciated!   

I am using F411 as the main controller of some DAC/ADC modules.I need to put MCU in stop mode to reduce its power consumption.I wonder whether or not I need to configure all the I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces when MCU wakes up from stop mode.

Newbie here!Setup:STM32CubeIDE 1.10.1Brand new NUCLEO-L476RG with MCO from ST_LINK MCU, no mods to the boardNew STM32 project using CubeMX 6.6.1, default mode for peripherals usedSystem Core -> RCC -> HSE = BYPASS Clock SourceClock configuration shown in attached, which is just the default values and switched from HSI to HSECode generated, no mods to the codeRunning the code lands me in the Error_Handler(). Found I end up with HAL_TIMEOUT at the attached code. I've changed the HSE Startup Timeout Value to 10,000 ms and still get a timeout returned. Can anyone help with what I am missing? I'm really new to this stuff but have done the same steps with a brand new NUCLEO-F446RE and have no issues. I've also tried the latest CubeIDE/MX and another NUCLEO-L476RG board but have the same problem. A big thank you in advance! Let me know if I can provide more info.

Hi! I'm currently trying to mount my sdcard via MSC/SDMMC and tinyUSB. It worked fine with RAM, could read and write, but I probably do the commands wrong for SD Card. Mounting with FatFS works fine, but I cannot get it to display any device on my drive. I'm currently evaluating the STM32U5 series to connect to a camera via DCMI and store video (i.e., multiple frames/images). For now, I would like to keep things simple and also learn how the DCMI and DMA workflow is like. So, I'll keep this forum post focused on just simply save multiple frames into RAM (see below for more details).I'm using the STM32U575I-EV and its provided example for DCMI as the base of my code. It seems like, for this example, there's a buffer large enough only to hold 1 frame (CAMERA_FRAME_BUFFER). That's expected, since the example code just displays the frame and has no use for it anymore. But I would like to know where in the code I would need to adjust so that it saves multiple frames. I've tried looking through the documentation but frankly I keep getting lost with the workflow going on.Thank you in advance for your help; let me know if you need more info! I need to do some testing with the STM32F767BIT6 MCU, to use the USB 2.0 HS USB peripheral. I can see it's used on this dev board ( https://uk.farnell.com/stmicroelectronics/nucleo-f767zi/dev-board-nucleo-32-mcu/dp/2546569 ) but the data sheet states that "USB OTG full speed or SNK/UFP (full-speed or high-speed mode), dependingon the USB connector type". Does this mean there are variants of the dev board itself, or that it depends on which host device this board is connected to? I cannot work with USB 2.0 FS, as it's too slow for the application.

I had written a function to support printf() using USART3 for NUCLEO-F767ZI board. Please check the code below, but I did not see the prints on the console in STM32CudeIDE. Please let me know what the issue can be. Hello to all,in our project we are using an STM32U5A5, and we need to be able to drive the sdcards at 1.8V if they are capable of it.We are using CubeMX to generate the basic code for initialization having configured the SDMMC1 to handle the transceiver.The part that switches the voltage works, and the callback "HAL_SD_DriveTransceiver_1_8V_Callback" is executed: inside this function we switched the voltage to 1.8V via a PIN.But the commands to the SDCard following this operation return the error: HAL_SD_ERROR_CMD_RSP_TIMEOUT.The error comes after executing "SD_PowerON", which completes successfully and performs the voltage change. More precisely it happens in the "SD_InitCard", executing the command: "SDMMC_CmdSendCID". (both function are on the stm32u5xx_hal_sd.c

Hi!I have STM32F469ZGT6 which is having problems with printf function.If I connect debugger probe STLINK-V3SET all my code runs OK.If I disconnect probe my code does not run at all. Hi ST,We are making product targeting SIL3 safety by using STL library. So, I have few doubts :-1. Is it recommended to have a bootloader in a safety grade product?2. If Yes, then how can I proceed? 3. In normal way bootloader code should be written or with all safety handling as recommended for SIl 3 application?4. And If I start writing as normal bootloader then as I use Flash_Write_Data(ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_63, (uint32_t*)&cardConfigArray_write, 2);. Then STL flash fail error comes even this code is in condition not at all executed.I am using this to jump into bootloader by raising a flag method. 5. Any other point should I keep in mind while writing this bootloader?

I have just started a project and am using the STM32H743. Is there any reason I should switch to the STM32H753? I know they are pin compatible and the 753 has some more advanced crypto features, but I'm more concerned with availability of these parts. Will the 753 be supported longer than the 743? If you were starting a new project would you chose the 753 or the 743, and why?

I've got the I2S working with DMA as slave receiver, works great, bit perfectly fills receiving buffer,until I restart the master, or introduce noise to I2S bus, then it just loses it, fills buffer with nonsense after that.It's not able to resync to same valid signal that was working previously.Sure I expect to lose some frames, life happens to input signal, it should be able to resync. So how can I make it resync?I know that errata says I have to wait for WS high before enabling DMA, but what about after corruption?I don't even know when the signal is invalid since there is no checksum,I can't ask the user restart the device until it starts working..Some audiophile DACs take I2S signal over cable, so anything could happen to it. hi2s2.Instance = SPI2; hi2s2.Init.Mode = I2S_MO

Hi, I want to design a board using STM32F446RET6 MCU. But I have a question about how to properly power the ADC system, and what the VCap_1 pin is. I read that I need to put a 4.7 uF ceramic capacitor with low ESR there. Below is an introductory graphic with a diagram. I added 100nF capacitors based on my previous projects using the STM32F103 series. But this time I will have to perform quite precise ADC measurements and work with the DAC.I was thinking about using tantalum capacitors, but does it make sense?

Hi All, Been reading and learning a lot about MCU's in general. I'm very very new to all of this so please bare with me.The board comes with STM32F427, and a custom .exe that can flash directly via USB-C. I've read about fake STM32's, and. I'm not sure if the MCU is genuine or not, but I'm adding the picture so someone can maybe help.The board comes with Ethernet, 3 USB-A, 1 USB-C (act as UART maybe?)The custom .exe can be flashed via USB-C after I put it in DFU mode I presume? (I hold the boot, it flashes blue to allow the flashing). I can click on flash, restore, or even backup basic configs.I would like to duplicate or retrieve the firmware so I can test it in another board. I tried STM32Cube, ESPtools, and many others, but it doesn't seem to recognize any connectivity.Any help or guidance would be appreciate. Thanks.  

Hello I wanted to create a external loader for STM32F411CEU6 (WeAct Blackpill board) and W25Q64 flash memory chip. I did it based on the tutorial from youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlG2doCkREM&t=1792s I the tutorial i found link to W25QXX libray. And after testing in a simple project writing and reading,i know the libray works, but when i compile the external loader and test it in debug mode, the SPI transmit return HAL_Busy status, only when i debug the external loader project.I tried to lower SPI speed but without success. Why the libray works in a simple project but in a external loader project no. I see no reason why the SPI_Transmit status is BUSY.Here is link to repo (external loader project): 

So DMA can read/write from 16bit SPI DR, to 32bit memory variable, in circular mode,I need to reinit stream, but DMA TX ends up off by one 16bit in destination array,so how can I partially reinit DMA to beginning or array/or even addresses?Without fully reinitializing DMA, since that takes too much time with HAL..S4M0AR  and S3M0AR always point to beginning of arrays, so they don't move around.FIFO is not enabled. So what can cause the shift?__HAL_DMA_DISABLE + __HAL_DMA_ENABLE doesn't seem to fix this shift. Using F401 with HAL.
