What could be the reason that configuring in CubeIDE SWV as enabled the MCU on debug flashes and stops responding? I'm trying to create an empty project for the NUCLEO-U3C5ZI-Q using STM32CubeIDE v2.1.1 under MacOS. All available updates have been applied.I've used File/STM32 Project Create to create an STM32CubeIDE Empty Project for the NUCLEO-U3C5ZI-Q board (all settings at the defaults offered).The project is created, along with the startup and linker files, but there is no .ioc file.

Hello, I am using a firmware package with the System Workbench for STM32 IDE and would like to ask how I can configure a peripheral and integrate it into my code. Additionally, does it support code generation similar to STM32CubeMX? Thank you in advance!      

The CubeMX suddenly can't generate some .h files such as stm32f103xb.h, core_cm3.h, stm32f1xx_hal_rcc.h ..., I tried to use legacy CubeMX to generate but still the same.How to fix it?Left picture is what it should look like ,and the right one is the wrong one.

Hi,during porting the USBX as host stack to an stm32h7 I was getting an error indication,that a semaphore was used during interrupt context (OTG_HS_IRQHandler).For my opinion, it is wrong to call the generated code out of the ISR without decoupling the context. How did you solve the problem? Is there a posibility in cubemx the generate code with decoupling the context?.

Hello,I am converting from Arduino to STM 32 Cube IDE. Here I have a Problem with include paths:What I want:- Develop Libraries in a special folder- Add the libraries as a LINK to the Cube IDE- use #include command to include the library into the project What I have done:- I made a new Project "Blinky" in the cube IDE - done- I selected a nucleo board in the cube IDE - done- I programmed a hello world blinky using HAL without libraries - done.So the environment and the board is running.- right clicking on the project  I created a new source folder "MyLibs"By drag and drop I copied my library called "After" folder into the new MyLibs folder. Answered the message by "copy link only" into the new folder "MyLibs"The copied folder "After" contains an other folder "src" where the source files are located. Here a picture of the project: 

I have five projects on the go, which compile and debug well on STM32CubeIDE 1.X.X (at least for 1.12.0+), but with warnings. I am now trying to shift to more recent versions of CubeIDE (2.X.X), but they behave as if ">Properties>C/C++Build>Settings>Tool Settings>MCU>MPU GCC Compiler>Warnings>Treat warnings as errors (-Werror)" is enabled, even when it is not.I believe that my settings in the more recent CubeIDE are identical to the older one, and I have tested this on two different computers with similar results. The error which is currently causing the compilation to halt is " ...error: implicit declaration of function 'xxxxx' [Wimplicit-function-declaration]", but if I resolve it, another item which should be a (legitimate) 'warning' will appear as an 'error'. I am using "ISO C11 (-std=c11)", and have the same issue if I attempt to use GNU11.Unfortunately, I cannot resolve all the warnings without creating other problems, so this issue i

I'm trying to download Cube MX, Cube Programmer, and Cube IDE. I registered and activated the license, but it won't download. I've tried using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) without extensions. I accept the License Agreement, but nothing happens. I tried it as a guest user, too, but it won't download. We used to define STM32 pinout in STM32CubeMx since it's aware of all the possiblilities of the MCU.Then we manually need to transfer the pnout into Altium Designer Schematic. And to keep those in sync when design changes.So we want to automate that step if possible.Thus the question: How can I Import pinout generated from STM32CubeMx into Altium Designer Schematic.

hello ST Community,where can I set it to avoid generating the file "startup_stm32l5...zetxq.s" during compilation and debugging in the stm32CubeIDE environment and also how to avoid that the space bar "|" when editing the line of code of 'main.c' is automatically moved to the last line of code of 'main.c' during compilation and debugging. Where should I set it to avoid all this?Thanks so much for your support

Im trying to setup FreeRTOS with the new STM32N6.According to https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/x-cube-freertos, the new Nucleo board for the STM32N6 is mentioned as supported.But in the CubeIDE, when trying to enable the FreeRTOS middleware, it says that the new nucleo board is not supported. And the docs also only mention AzureRTOS as supported.Is FreeRTOS supported through the CubeIDE? Or only AzureRTOS? 

I have recently installed STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1 on linux and opened an existing project workspace. Everything looks fine except the integration with CubeMX for ioc files (which I believe is now by-design). The problem I have is after going to eclipse marketplace and installing Subclipse, it installs fine, then after restarting it goes into an endless loop saying the application is not responding. Finally, I got a message about "Failed to load JavaHL Library.", but I'm not sure if that's the real cause as dismissing the dialog reverts back to the application not responding loop.  Reinstalling the IDE does not help. The only way I've found to get the IDE to work is by removing the stm32 folder under $HOME/.eclipse, but this doesn't correct the issue with subclipse or its connection to subversion. Any help much appreciated.

I am using a G474RE nucleo board and i have 2 separate interface boards which i ca connect to it. One board requires a VREFBUS of 2.5V and the other  2.90 . Currently i modify the .IOC file and select the appropriate VREFBUS, compile the code. So currently i have 2 separate .elf files, one for each scenario. I will want a single code version so that on start up based on the status of a switch connected to a GPIO, it will configure the correct VREFBUF value. The attachment shows my setup for the 2.90V internal voltage reference. Thanks David  

STM32CubeIDE 1.14.1I have imported a CubeMX generated makefile project.  When I enter the debug configuration dialog, I get an error "Unsupported build configuration. MCU ARM GCC required for debug." I have not found any documentation from ST indicating how to install this.  I am also curious why a dependency required to debug an ST MCU does not come with ST's Eclipse debugger. The Eclipse Marketplace returns an error 500 when I search for MCU ARM GCC.The Install New Software dialog just spins forever, not even loading any package data. What I'm looking to do:Debug an MCU application on my target board.I do not actually care about STM32CubeIDE, I am fine using stock Eclipse.  But I do need documentation on how to set up the actual ST specific debug tooling, and this information either doesn't exist or is difficult to find.  If ST's IDE works, that's fine too, I don't really care.

I upgraded to 6.17 this morning an have already had to roll back due to a bug in how it now generates fiels for FreeRTOS.Under the FreeRTOS (Include parameters) options I have this vTaskDelayUntil set to Enabled.  This now changes the define name in the user config file (Core/Inc/FreeRTOSConfig.h) to be #define INCLUDE_xTaskDelayUntil 1which is correct for the updated freeRTOS version, but in the file (Middleware/Thrid Party/FreeRTOS/Source/CMSIS_RTOS_V2/freertos_os2.h) it has not been updated so it now it throws an error stopping my projects from building. There are other places where vTaskDelayUntil has also not been updated to xTaskDelayUntil. This needs to be fixed.  

Hello, I got following problem.STM32CubeMX is unable to properly generate .project file for STM32CubeIDE. After clicking "GENERATE CODE", MX is copying library files, generating .h and .c files, but no .project file. Following nullpointer exception can be found in log file. Hello,I tried to install STM32CubeProgrammer, but the installer always gets stuck at Step 8. I searched online and found that some people from my country solved the problem by changing the Windows region and language.However, my Windows 11 license only supports a single language, so I cannot change it.Is there any other solution for this issue?Thanks in advance.
