STM32 MCUs Wireless

Is there a possibility to use the STM32WBxx with wifi? I know it can handle bluetooth or zigbee.Or maybe is there in the near future a firmeware upgarde to use wifi?Thanks!

According to manual I should getFast channels: 0.234 μs for 12-bit resolution (4.27 Ms/s)Slow channels: 0.297 μs for 12-bit resolution (3.37 Ms/s)but I am getting only get 2Ms/s.I am clocking the chip at 64MHz and using P-NUCLEO-WB55 evaluation board and using a fast channel. I can get faster (3Ms/s) by setting timer counter to 1 (smallest), but the timer will trigger at much faster speeds then the sampling rate achieved.I am usind STM32CubeMX to configure the device.

Hi everyone,I have built two custom ​boards (One server and and one node) and my application requires that the server and client communicate with each other and exchange the following parameters.A name in stringDate day and time.​The server will send​ above information to client and client will store it. The client will ring when the time received from sever arrives. That would be through RTC alarm.The questions are1. How to send the information from the server to client?2. How to store use that information on the client side to ring RTC alarm?3. How to retrieve mac address of the node(client) and store it in server?​Any help would be highly appreciated.​Warm Regards

I have loaded SE 1.3.0 out of the box (only changed app and dev ids) onto a Nucleo board, and after a few uplinks (data) the loraserver does not send a downlink confirmation, as if the fcnt is incorrect. In fact the fCnt is OK. Hi). I made a minimal design for STM32WB55 on board. This board has 3 program pads. There ara GND, SWDIO, SWCLK. Сontroller current is 11mA at the factory program. I try to flash the controller using these contacts, but nothing works. I use ST_LINK (STM32F407 discovery) and ST_LINK Utility. How i can flash this controller?

I've been tasked with figuring out how to get a mobile app to communicate with an MCU then in turn control a stepper motor. Right now I'm trying to get the WiFi module (ESP8266-01) and MCU (NUCLEO-F030R8) to play nice with each other. The catch is I have little to no experience and no education in this field. The closest experience I have is simple Arduino sketches from years ago (IE photo-resistor values driving a stepper motor) and making desktop applications with C#. I am using STM32CubeIDE but if there's a better option I can switch to that. What I would very much like help on is send and receive simple data between a smartphone and the MCU via the WiFi module. I understand this is probably a large topic in its own right and a short blurb on the internet won't do it (and undoubtedly its multiple subcategories) justice. But I might as well ask.Sorry if this is too much and thank you in advance.

I'm trying to program BLE stack on a custom board based on STM32WB55CG. I'm using SWD, CubeProgrammer 2.2, CubeFW_WB 1.1.1.First I've successfully performed -fwdelete. But then I got "Firmware not authentic" error trying to make -fwupgrade. So I've set RDP 0xBB and back to 0xAA folowing this advice . Hello everyone, I am debugging my stm32L073+sx1272 in the pingpong mode. I run the program in debug mode. I know that there is a while loop and the "state" variable should be the variable to implement different functions such as TX RX RX_TIMEOUT and so on. Though I read the manual, I don't know when and where the "state" variable is modified. It is modified in the IRQ Interrupt? Thanks.

I'm trying to flash the FUS and BLE_stack to the co-processor, but the CubeProgrammer drops me the error below. I could not even delete the previous FUS as the release note said. Same error message. The flash was erased by changing the protection byte to 0xBB and then back to 0xAA. Could that be my problem? The MCU is on a custom PCB, and the important parts are the same as on the WB55-Nucleo and I'm using a nucleo with s-link to program through SWD. The application runs perfectly on the M4 (except the bluetooth part).So the error message is: "Error: Could not execute fwupgrade command, Security extension not instantiated".Any help is appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Hi,My problem is the following, I cannot connect to bootloader mode of nucleo board and my custom pcb with wb55rgv6.For Nucleo wb55 board, I do exactly as precised in the documentation, I connect CN7.5 and CN7.7 to put BOOT0 to VDD. I connect JP1 to USB MCU and finally, I connect USB cable to USB_USER. I run STM32CubeProgrammer, I switch to USB connection and there I do not see any device in DFU mode. If I do it in command line, I execute the following command "STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -l" to list all peripherals that I can connect to but it sys me that there is nothing. I precise that I can do both ways with USB dongle in Bootloader/DFU mode and that driver is up to date, it is the 2018 version delivered with last version of STM32CubeProgrammer.Because of those problems, my development is stuck, I cannot know FUS and Wireless Firmware states and I can not update it.On my custom board, coprocessor never sends me the signal that

Hi!I'm trying to enable the PDM interface on a STM32WB55RGV with one microphone. Basically i followed the AN5027 application note, but I'm not able to start the clock on the proper GPIO. The configuration from CUBE-MX seems ok, and I checked the registers value, so maybe I'm setting up the wrong API to start the streaming.Any advice?

Hi all,I'm trying to determine how much FLASH memory will be available for my user application. I'm using an STM32WB55RG. I don't do this quite often so I could use some helpI got clues from different sources but i'm not sure which one is correct :Given from the "stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin" + "stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw.bin" files size, 186kB should be occupied. So I deduc that 838kB are available for user app.In the MOOC for the STM32WB workshop, it's said that the size allocated for the upper block of flash depends on the technology and the addons used (they say 80kB for BLE stack, and 160-170 for BLE+OTA). This seems weird as the size for the BLE stack file is 162kB.Inside AN5185, the Table 5. Device information table tells us that both the FUS and the wireless stack can use up to 65535 sectors of 4K -> For me, this means that they could take 256kB each, leaving us with 512kB for the user application.
