HelloAfter upgrade STM32CubeIDE to 2.0.0 I have problem with programming multi core STM32WL55. Can download program to CM4 core, but not to CM0+. Before upgrading it worked OK. Now it generate message when programming CM0+: Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0: Erasing internal memory sectors [64 77] Download in Progress: Error: failed to download Sector[0] Error: failed to download the File Encountered Error when opening C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.19.0\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.win32_2.2.300.202508131133\tools\bin\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe Error in STM32CubeProgrammer Shutting down... My STMCubeIDE is not opening the ioc files or creating STM32 projects, it is acting like the ioc files are text files, not using the STMCubeMX mode to open them. I'd already tried reinstalling the STMCubeIDE a few times, in the C folder and in other disk, tried checking for updates, confirming the installed plugins, deleting the folder after uninstalling the program and many other ways to fix it. Can someone help me?? Please

Periodically, the Add buttons in the configurator stop working and it is impossible to change values in tasks, queues, etc. The system does not respond to mouse clicks (the editor window does not appear). However, the Delete button works. Restarting the IDE helps. Hi I have installed the updated version V2.0.0 and tried to configure the MCU like before using GUI , but it is not supported then how to get GUI like CubeMX version to configure microcontroller, please help

Hi,I am developing a telemetry project using the P-L496G-CELL02 Discovery Kit. My goal is to use the X-CUBE-CELLULAR expansion package to handle the cellular modem connectivity and MQTT implementation.However, I am facing difficulties installing this package properly in STM32CubeIDE.The Issue: I went to Help > Manage Embedded Software Packages > STMicroelectronics tab and clicked "Refresh", but the X-CUBE-CELLULAR package does not appear in the list to be installed.What I have done so far:I searched the Package Manager extensively, but it is missing.I have downloaded the .zip file of the package (v6.0.0) directly from the ST website.I tried to use the "Install from Local" option in the Package Manager with this zip file, but it failed (likely because it is not formatted as a pack).Since the automati

While testing the X-CUBE-EEPROM library in STM32CubeIDE (v1.18.1), I observed the FLASH->CR register in the SFRs window. I noticed that the display for BKER (bank erase select bit) is missing in the FLASH_CR register. Please try to correct this in the next STM32CubeIDE release.

We are pleased to announce that STM32CubeIDE 2.0.0 release is available. STM32CubeIDE is now independent from STM32CubeMX. With this release, device configuration, previously handled within STM32CubeIDE via STM32CubeMX, is now exclusively available through the stand-alone STM32CubeMX tool. Users will configure microcontroller peripherals and generate initialization code separately in STM32CubeMX, then import the generated projects into STM32CubeIDE for coding and debugging.   STM32CubeIDE, is now a stand-alone tool, offers the possibility to create empty project through its own MCU/Board selectors now present inside. As shown in the figure, the title of the window bar seems to have become garbled, even though its content was originally in English. I thought it was due to the software defaulting to a font that only supports Western characters, but changing all the available fonts did not solve the garbled text issue. Hi,I would like to get printf() debug messages from both M7 and M4 core using SWO pin. It seems to work as expected on M7 core, but I cannot get it work on M4. Ideally, I would like to have messages from both cores in parallel, but it would be great to get both cores working separately. I have been using UART so far, but SWO sounds much better. Is it possible to get SWO printf() debug messages directly from M4 core?Is it possible to use SWO on both cores in parallel?

 I'm experiencing an issue when attempting to debug a project in STM32CubeIDE v1.19.0 using a NUCLEO-H753ZI board and ST-LINK V3 (FW: V3J16M9). The debugger appears to hang during the early initialization phase and fails to proceed with device enumeration commands.BehaviorWhen I launch a debug session, the IDE displays:Launching: Performing pre-launch check... It remains stuck at this message indefinitely. I encountered a significant problem with the live expressions during debugging, as the variables displayed erratic values and symbols when they were set as unsigned. I spent several days trying to verify this, as I previously had doubts about my code's execution. At times, the values may be exchanged or moved unexpectedly (the output of the first variable appears in the second variable's output, and consequently, all other values are displaced). Please prioritize this matter. In our organization, many individuals are encountering this problem and are considering transitioning to VS Code.

After setting the heap size to 16 GB in the stm32cubeide.ini before finally not getting "out if memory" errors, opening the "Pinout Compatible" Dialog from an existing project consumes a little over 10 GB !I found another thread where this was apparently fixed in CubeMX in 2022 (CubeIDE 1.9.0 has a heart attack on "loading compa... - STMicroelectronics Community), it seems to be back.

The login via HELP->STM32Cube Updates->Connection to myST   does not seem to be working properly. Trying to login I first get a small splash window with a button which I can press which opens a webview(?) which sometimes displays an "Accept Cookie" dialogue. That seems to go away by itself, but I am unfortunately unable to enter anything into the username and password fields, they are unresponsive.I'm using Wayland on Linux, but my colleague running on MacOS is experiencing the same issue.Browsing through the forum, the advice I find seems to be "try again tomorrow, there seem to be issues on ST's side of things".  Is there currently maintenance going on? Is the CubeIDE backend particularly slow at the moment, or is this how things always work with Cube?

in default situation, you could not call c++ function in C file.  So the main.c  is not suitable file in C++ project.   if user choose C++ project,the generated main.c ,stm32h7xx_it.c should sufixed with .cpp.

Hi everyone,I’m working with STM32L010K4T6, which is based on the ARM Cortex-M0+ core.I’d like to use FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) functions in my project, preferably within STM32CubeIDE.However, I noticed that the CMSIS-DSP library (which provides FFT functions) seems to have limited or no direct support for the L0 series inside CubeIDE.My questions are:Is it possible to add and use the FFT / CMSIS-DSP library with STM32L0 series MCUs like STM32L010K4T6?If yes, what is the recommended way to integrate it in STM32CubeIDE (manual CMSIS-DSP source import, or any ready package)?Are there any performance or memory constraints I should be aware of when running FFT on Cortex-M0+?Thank you in advance for any guidance!Best regards,Burak

I'm trying to track down a memory corruption bug in my code. I can setup a Watchpoint for a specific variable (Expression to watch: *(uint32_t*)0x20024840), and get the debugger to stop at a breakpoint whenever the variable is written to (good!).However, my problem is that 99% of the time, it's a legitimate/intended write, and I'd like it to NOT break at those locations so I can focus on the problem area.I've tried using the "Conditon:" field in the breakpoint property in 3 different ways:1) Ignore breakpoint if at a specific address:  $pc != 0x80201cc2) Ignore the breakpoint if in a specific function:  !$_is_in_function("my_func")3) Ignore the breakpoint if the value being written to the variable is within a range:  *(uint32_t*)0x20024840<3000||*(uint32_t*)0x20024840>4000In all 3 cases, it seems to have no filtering at all. Hello,I’m using an STM32F429I-Discovery board with an MT9M001 camera module, trying to display the camera image on the board’s built-in LCD.However, I found that the following pins conflict between the DCMI and LTDC functions (please correct me if I misread the pin mapping):PA4: DCMI_HSYNC vs LTDC_VSYNCPA6: DCMI_PIXCLK vs LTDC_G2PC7: DCMI_D1 vs LTDC_G6PB8: I2C1_SCL vs LTDC_B6PB9: I2C1_SDA vs LTDC_B7In this situation, what is the typical way to handle such pin conflicts?Would it be necessary to change the board or the camera module?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Hello,when enabling DMA for a Timer channel in PWM mode, the transfer direction is set to Memory to Peripheral.This s very questionnable.Is it a deliberate choice or a bug?It does not make sense to select Peripheral to Memory for the DMA channel as it is used to wrtie to the device.I fell in the trap several time, wasting time to look up for an issue in my code...Very boring.STM32 device is STM32F429, CubeIDE version 1.19.0 (same problem with all versions since I started using CubeIDE a couple of years before.) 

I had several versions of the IDE installed on my machine but none of them could connect to the internet to update or load code. I keep getting the error message "In order to benefit from best experience a network connection is required. Do you want to set connection parameter now?". At first I thought it was because Norton was blocking the the applications through the firewall but I uninstalled Norton and installed the IDE again but that didn't fix the problem. I installed the IDE on my brothers machine which doesn't have Norton and it worked fine on there. I also have used different networks in the past 2 months so that cant be it. Can anyone please help?

I didn't use the BSP for the board, in other words i didn't select the NUCLEO board option, but I started the project using the MCU. The Project name is STM32WL55IC7_foo. The CubeIDE build the following 3 projects: 1. STM32WL55IC7_foo 

I am trying to flash and debug on CM4 on stm32 H755 ZI-Q board.1. Firstly i tried debugging CM7 , with debug configurations --> Connecting under reset and halt all cores.2. Then i tried debugging CM4, with debug configuration -->None(no reset)3. Also added .elf files in startup while debugging CM7.4. I separately debugged cm7 and then cm4, but got only cm7 prints output.5. So then i tried in other way,I launch the group debug, adding cm4 and cm7 both elf files,, still the cm7 i could able to see prints,, cm4 no prints.. basically, I think cm4 is not able to get up from stop mode.So, provide me solution 1.How to run cm4 independently? If this is not possible,  2. How to run the code written in m4, along with m7 in stm32 h755 zi-q series board.
