STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I'm porting some code over from an STM32F407 processor to an STM32F072 processor. The code uses the low-level driver to change the baudrate. How do I include those without changing any of the files in the HAL? The HAL version that I have is STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.11.5.   

Hello,I am looking up on how to capture printf output using ITM on my stm32H723ZG board. Most tutorials I see online are using some sort of IDE. I tried using CubeMX and it works there but I would like to use gdb/openocd since that is my preferred way of debugging.I am wondering how is it possible to enable printf output using gdb/openocd combo? What setup needs to be done on the gdb side and on the openocd side?Code wise, I know I have to implement the _write function which I have done below for GCC. int _write(int fd, char *ptr, int len){ size_t i; for(i=0; i<len;i++){ ITM_SendChar(ptr[i]); } return len; }  Also i added in the --specs=nosys.specs flag in my makefileDo i need to setup some ITM hardware as well? Hi im using Nucleo-g431, in my laptop code generation is happening with respect to change in ioc file cubeide, but same code i shared to another laptop but there change in ioc file , it is not reflecting in code. code generation is not happening with the current change in ioc. but in ioc changes are there. both the systems are same version of cubeide 1.19.0.  what to do for this.regards,srinath

Hi,every time I download the code from CubeIDE into the micro, a seemingly random file (every time a different one) opens up in the editor. More specifically it opens in the split editor area that is active when I press Run (i.e. left window or right window in the editor screenshot below).Furthermore it opens only system/library source and header files like stm32l4xx_ll_adc.h, stm32l4xx_hal_tim_ex.c and stm32l4xx_hal_gpio.c and not the source files I created.Any idea why and how to prevent it from doing that?Thank you 

Hi, im using stm32h745bit6 MCU, when im pressing reset button only M7 core is reseting and M4 core is stucking in an reset handler itself, what to do an reset. since if a use system reset also same only.can u someone suggest what to do for this reset handler issues.  regards,srinath

We have received new STM32H755ZI-Q board recently from STM, When we connect try to flash through STMCubeIde ST_link is not detecting and saying target not found. but in device manager the device is showing. below is error snippet Error in final launch sequence: Failed to start GDB server Failed to start GDB server Error in initializing ST-LINK device. when you install stm32cubeide first time without login the myST, and coincidentally you opened a former project，you will find that code generator won't work without any error message. I've been working on the previous code all day long lol.

When I try to login in the STMCubeIDE(myST -> Login), but I can't type my account and password into the text box of the pop up login window. It seem's like not bscause of network problem as the pop up login window correctly loaded, and I the "login" button and "Create Account" button works properly.and the command line output is several lines of:    1 : Invalid condition id : UX_CORESTACK_Condition cause : nullHow can I fix it?(platform: Arch linux, Hyprland)

I find one example that helps me at the "example selector" . I can open, edit, and run it. if I want to copy it, I have this error. Does anyone know the solution? It creates the project, but the subfolders are not fully copied, like 80% are not there.

On the download page for the STM32CubeCLT software, there is only a single download option available for macOS (STM32CubeCLT-Mac), which downloads the x86_64 version of the software.Are there plans to add a download option for AArch64 macOS?

Hello Experts,I am looking for a solution in which we can create STM32 project with .ioc file and generate the code but cmake as build tool instead of make.I know we have couple of options while creating new project as follows:We can either create STM32 project which allows to have .ioc file and can generate code but that is make file-based project.If create CMake project, then it doesn't have .ioc and code generation feature.In past, I created STM32 project and on top of that added CMake list files but want to know is there any better option.Thanks in advance.

Defining the underlying type of an enumeration has been a difficult task until C23 added the feature.  Previously different compilers used different methods and results could vary unexpectedly. As seen in the image below, STM32CubeIDE v 1.19.0 can recognize this C23 feature and flag mistakes, such as the out-of-range value 0x101 for the 8-bit enum.As seen in the gcc output below, the mistake is caught by gcc:
