Posted on September 20, 2017 at 00:46Hi!I found couple of troubles while programming STM32F030F4 with STM32CubeMX.1. I used simple code likewhile(1){    HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_3);    HAL_Delay(1);}which must generate 500 Hz square wave on PA3. It is actually work for STM32CubeMX V. 4.18.0, but 4.22.1 version gives 250 Hz signal.2. I tried to use PLLCLK source (with the same code), but it absolutely doesnt work with any settings in V. 4.18.0 and      V. 4.22.1 - there is no signal, just little ripples on PA3. With HSE and HSI sources without PLL it works. Some months ago I used V. 4.20.1 without this trouble. Can you provide a download link to this version?#pll #cubemx #stm32f0 #rcc

Posted on February 02, 2018 at 19:15Hello, I will first describe what I am trying to accomplish, what I have tried, and how it is not working; any help/advice is greatly appreciated.I have an external MCU (Particle Photon) acting as the SPI Master. Approximately every half second it needs to send 64 bytes to the STM32F103. It can also be multiples of 64 bytes (e.g. 50x 64 byte chunks equaling 3,200 bytes in this example... maximum of 200x chunks). The STM32 also has its own data that needs to be sent back to the master MCU, same format.I have stripped a lot of this down, and am just trying to get a single 64 byte exchange to happen reliably, and I am failing at that.I used STM32CubeMX to generate the source code and configurations. Posted on January 28, 2018 at 08:22Hello,I am working on a project connecting a Nucleo-F767ZI with IBM Watson IoT. I found an expansion X-CUBE-WATSON I I read the example inside it using the Disco-F769NI. I read the code and tried to configure my Nucleo the same way but I don't know if my configurations are right or not because there are many things in the examples (I know that there are some files don't need changing). I checked the documents and they are not showing how to configure the CubeMX or some kind like that to run the example. So are there any tools or many documents or may be articles that can help me with this? Posted on September 12, 2017 at 15:37I have had hands on the CubeMX user label feature for pin assignments and found it very usefull. It was possible to write application code like HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(my_label_GPIO_Port, my_label_GPIO_PIN), and when the pin assignment changed later on, simply regenerating code using CubeMX would redefine the my_label_GPIO_Port and my_label_GPIO_PIN definitions. No changes in application code needed!Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe no such feature is present for full peripherals. Being able to assign a user label to, say, SPI4 would be great. I would be able to do HAL_SPI_Transmit(my_label, buf, len, 0). If I would want to switch from SPI4 to SPI2 I would only need to do so in CubeMX and be sure to give SPI2 the label my_label again. This way again, no changes in application code are needed.I came across this old thread:

Posted on December 21, 2017 at 14:44I am wroking on a project  using two microcontrollers a STM32F412 and a STM32L011 (8K flash, 2k RAM) .The STM32L011 is used as RTC to manage the power comsumption of the STM32F412. I used STM32CubeMx to generate the code to set the peripherics  that I use within the L011 (I2C, RTC, RCC). The problem is the size of the generated code once compiled is bigger than the 8k available inside the flash of the L011.I only compile the genretaded code without writting a line of code.!How could be possible to get a bigger code than the place to stored it for a defined STM32?I think I did something wrong but I can find what is wrong.Someone could provide me any ideas to resolve this situation. Posted on May 29, 2017 at 22:20CubeMX V4.21.0 on MacOS 10.12.5.4.21.0 was available, so I downloaded it. Opened my current project, checked to see if my pet peeves had been fixed yet - nope. Went for lunch.Came back from lunch and Cube has 3.7GB of RAM locked down.If I click between the various tabs, the memory goes up in 20MB increments. Now up to 3.89G.Simply move the cursor around on the screen, you don't need to click on anything, and it goes up in 100MB increments. Posted on June 08, 2016 at 16:48Hi, setting the ADC1_IN8 or ADC_IN15 as OPAMP x Output Differential  or OPAMP x Output Single-ended in STM32CubeMx v 4.15 with NUCLEO-L476RG doesn't generate the correct GPIO setup. The OPAMP output pins are configured as GPIO_MODE_ANALOG under HAL_OPAMP_MspInit in stm32l4xx_hal_msp.c while they should be configured as GPIO_MODE_ANALOG_ADC_CONTROL to feed the ADC. There is also another error: setting the the ADC1_IN8 or ADC_IN15 as OPAMP x Output Differential generates the wrong regular channel configuration as ADC_SINGLE_ENDED. It should be ADC_DIFFERENTIAL_ENDED. Regards #stm32-cubemx-opamp-adc

Essentially, when every rising edge is detected, the timer triggers a DMA event and stores the GPIO pins value to memory. This happens on every rising edge, although I'd like this to only occur every 8 rising edges. The problem is that it was also decided that the Atollic truestudio lite is the IDE that we will be using as well . I have been searching far and wide and I found near to nigh of tutorials . I have been Using Microchip's PIC up until now and I'm new to the ARM as well . Posted on December 20, 2017 at 13:50 STM32F373 slow usb custom hid cubemx. I have encountered a problem. I can easily configure usb custom hid to work but I can't achieve acceptable speed of usb. I am trying to send array of 1200 bytes. The array should be divided into 64 bytes (bits?) packets. The fact is that the array is transmitted for 20 seconds. It's only 60 bytes per second. It's too far from maximum 1.5 mb/sec. What should I do?
