hello,When using MDMA (STM32H753), and more than one transfer, the code generated doesn't align correctly the struct MDMA_LinkNodeTypeDef. We have a custom `STM32WL33CCV6` (`VFQFPN32`) board that should reach about `4 µA` in Deepstop, similar to the NUCLEO-WL33, but instead it drops only to roughly `450–500 µA` and appears to restart on Deepstop entry. `NRST` does not glitch low, and the behavior is unchanged with only `3.3V` and `GND` connected. We also tested direct `HAL_PWR_EnterDEEPSTOPMode()` with wake sources disabled, and it still appears to reboot rather than stay in Deepstop. We reviewed ST errata `ES0612` and applied the documented `VFQFPN32` workaround from section `2.2.9` for nonbonded GPIOs causing increased Run-mode current by forcing the listed nonbonded pins to pulldown at startup. That workaround had no effect on the Deepstop issue. The custom board’s `VFBSD / VLXSD / VDDSD / VDDRF` schematic and BOM appear close to the ST reference, so we are asking whether there are known WL33 low-power / SMPS / Deepstop pitfalls beyond errata `2.2.9` that could explain a persistent `~500 µA` floor or an appar

Hello,   I'm updating an ST25R3916B project to use the ST25R300 due to the obsolescence of the Murata variable capacitor. This project is read/write of ISO15693 tags only, no card emulation or anything fancy. It uses one IC which is then multiplexed with relays to 20 different antennae, each about 2cm square. The tag that we're reading is about 2cm by 1cm, and has been working reliably. So for this update I start by finding all the reference designs, and I saw this little gem, the STEVAL-ALOCKCB. It looks like it has an antenna the same size - how do I get more information about it? Can you please post the dimensions, or even better just send me the Altium files and I can get it out of there cleanly. Reference designator on there is ANT700.Also one question on that design - on PDF page 8 of the schematic it has the filter and antenna match but it looks like it's duplicated on both sides of the connector - why? Hello, I was wondering where the installed software packs are stored on the disk? I would like to have a look at the content and the examples, assuming e.g. the HAL pack or the Nucleo board pack contains these examples.

I don't know id this is normal, but I got one of those cheap Chinese ST-Link clones. It worked at first when I plugged it into my PC and installed the drivers and STM32 Utility.I tried connecting my MCU to STM32 Utility, but at the time I didn’t realize my MCU is an Artery one, not STM32. It still connected though, and when I tried to program it, I got an error saying “ELF loader not available.” I didn’t really know what that meant since I’m still pretty new to this stuff.After that I started messing around with the option bytes settings, and I might’ve changed something I shouldn’t have. I don’t remember exactly what I did, but after that my ST-Link stopped working.Now the LED on it is red, while I’ve seen other people say theirs is blue. From what I read it might be a driver issue, but I’m not sure. I even bought another ST-Link clone and it does the same thing, just red light and no connection.When I try to connect in STM32 Utility, I get an error, whe

IN short, it's not working. I normally use the standard (not x-cube) and L5 processors.  I'm going to the U5 processors for a larger project.  I've gone to Cube MX 6.17.0 and CubeMXIDE 2.1.1. Hi  i have a board with STM32F4 and an EMMC. And I am using FATFS.  I managed to enable the STM32 RTC and added the necessary code in get_fattime(); There is one problem stil: under windows "created" and "modified" date are shown corerctly. But "accessed" date is wrong.  See attached image.  Any clue what is going wrong? Thx

I'm trying to install the ST-Link USB Drivers following the instructions here. However, the STM32Cube Resources section does not include ST-Link USB Drivers.I'm running the latest versions on VS Code and STM32CodeIDE extension. 

I'm writing firmware for a development board based on the STM32H743 MCU, and I want to use an external GPIO input as the trigger or synchronization signal of DMAMUX to initiate DMA transactions. However, it seems that very little information is available on using GPIOs to start DMAs. In the reference manual, "Table 127. DMAMUX2: assignment of trigger inputs to resources" and "Table 128. DMAMUX2: assignment of synchronization inputs to resources", it shows two trigger input signals: "Syscfg_exti0_mux" (number 20), and "Syscfg_exti2_mux" (number 21). So it seems to suggest that the EXTI trigger sources can indeed be used to trigger the DMA, but these two signals are not mentioned anywhere in the entire reference manual, there's no block diagram showing exactly what GPIO pins are connected. It says "SYSCFG" and "MUX", so they're probably the outputs controlled by programming SYSCFG_EXTICR1, SYSCFG_EXTICR2, SYSCFG_EXTICR3, SYSCFG_EXTICR4. But there are 4 EXTICRx and only two

Greetings,I am working on a Hardware-based password manager. When the device is first setup, A 512-Bit key is created which is used to encrypt & decrypt the passwords. This key will be stored on STSAFE-A's Symmetric Key Table and the password can be encrypted/decrypted using this key on the STSAFE-A.Now, I want to be able to set a user specified password on the STSAFE-A and then this password will be used by STSAFE-A to authenticate before performing any encryption/decryption/etc operations. After a set amount of wrong attempts, STSAFE-A should erase the key.Is this achievable?Regards,Aditya M.

I have a STM32H730 Project, using CubeIDE V1.17.0. Code executing from the internal Flash.I have located some functions into ITCM,added a new .itcram section to the linker LD fileadded __attribute__((section(".itcram"))) to my functions I want in ITCMat startup I copy from FLASH to ITCM This builds and runs okay, the functions in ITCM execute as expected.But, I can't Debug Step into any function located in ITCM, it just steps over the function.I can set a breakpoint in a ITCM function, but it never halts there, just ignores the breakpoint. How can I step into functions located in ITCM?Do I need to tell GDB that I have instruction code in ITCM? Thanks. 

The STM32G031G8U6 in a UFQFPN28 package does not have PF0 / PF1 pins for HSE OSC_IN / OSC_OUT.  It does however have OSC_IN on PC14.  This is intended for an external CMOS oscillator in bypass mode.I’m currently in the schematic design stage. My board clock is a clipped-sine TCXO used for other purposes.  In some modes, I’d like to use it to clock the STM32. I’m very constrained on cost, power, and board space.  The clipped-sine doesn't meet the voltage level requirements for a bypass-mode clock.Is it possible to configure HSE as if it were a crystal, but instead supply a clipped-sine 0.8 Vpp clock from the TCXO to PC14 OSC_IN? Hi, I'm getting an error when uploading an image downloaded from the STM32 OpenSTlinux website via STM32Programmer. I'm uploading the STM32MP157F-DK2 version. The OTG cable is connected, and the DIP switches are also in the correct positions. what could be the problem?

Hi, I need to measure a 4.2V battery while my MCU's supply varies between 2.0V and 3.3V. Since VDDA is the ADC reference, raw ADC counts will drift as the supply changes. Is this the correct method? My plan: Feed the battery voltage through a 10K/7K5 divider into one ADC channel (scaled to stay below VDDA_min = 2.0V). Read VREFINT on a second ADC channel. Use VREFINT (whose true value is known from the factory calibration in system memory) to back-calculate the actual VDDA, then convert the battery channel's raw count into volts. The formula being:V_battery = 3.0 V × (VREFINT_CAL / VREFINT_DATA) × (ADC_battery / 4095) × ((R1 + R2) / R2)   Is this the correct approach for getting a supply-independent battery reading on this part? Hello, I am using CubeMX2 Version 1.0.0 on macOS Silicon. Various software packs fail to install with a 404 error like this: Could not fetch content of pack-URL: https://developer.st.com/st-pack-server/api/v1/pack/STMicroelectronics.rot_provisioning.2.0.0.pack, got: 404 - Not Found The following packs where tested and failed: rot_provisioning eeprom_emulation mcuboot fileX usbX (now installed via local pack from https://dev.st.com/stm32pc/) Is this an error on my side, similar to the proxy or certification issues I saw in other tickets or are these packs just not available YET? Secondly, I see support packs for e.g. the L4 MCU series: "stm32l4xx_dfp". What is the point of having these packs if CubeMX2 will not support these MCUs?
