hi, I have been trying to run PMSM motors with B-G431B-ESC1, I follow the steps given in the user manual, 1. I profile the motor and save the parameters 2. use the motor control workbench to generate a project, and generate source code, 3. run it in Cube IDE to flash it on the development board. However, I am unable to run my motor with that source code. The motor doesn't even start. I also face inconsistency when running the motor with the same source code on different occasions. What could be the issue, and what should I do to resolve this issue? since the profiler is working, where can I get a profiler code based on which the profiling .hex file is created to debug the issue? I'm generating external interrupts on an WeActStudio STM32F446RET6 board. I've the pins configured as pull-up. When I set one of them to GND, several random interrupts from other pins are generated. In my design I needed to use the SPI on the 32-pin WL33, which normally is SWCLK, so I relocated it from its usual PA3, to PB2. When connecting the debugger, it was unable to find the target, which is usually an indication of incorrect connections to SWCLK and/or SWDIO.The manual (rm0511) on pp58-59 describes the alternate functions, and I can see that using PB2 is a valid configuration using AF1 on on that pin. However, when doing a deeper dive into the generated code, I discovered that it has generated code for pin PA2 (SWDIO), (albeit using the wrong define for the Alternate member of the GPIO initialization struct, which is GPIO_AF0_LCO, instead of GPIO_AF0_SWDIO, but luckily they have the same value!), but NO CODE has been generated for SWCLK. As the default alternate register value, according to the manual, is AF0, then it comes up on the wrong pin. Hence the debugger error.I am presuming that I can fix this by adding code to configure PB2 to use AF1? If there ar

When using the RAM self-test feature in X-CUBE-STL, I enabled the RAM backup buffer in the application by not defining STL_DISABLE_RAM_BCKUP_BUF. I also allocated a section in the scatter file:; 128KB DTCM RW_STL_TM_RAM 0x20000000 0x20 { ; Place STL RAM TM backup buffer outside tested subsets (i.e., beginning of RAM) *(backup_buffer_section) } This section is explicitly excluded from the self-test region. My question is: ​How is the integrity of the RAM backup buffer itself ensured? If it is not tested, could errors in this buffer compromise the self-test process or data recovery? Do I need additional measures to guarantee its reliability?

Hello, I’m building a custom communication protocol using STM32 (F1 series) as a relay-only device, sitting between an ESP32F103C6T6A and multiple slave ESP32F103C6T6As. The ESP handles all frame dispatching and reception. The STM32 "master" is just an intermediary to ensure matching internal clock timing between STM32s (since ESP32's timing is too loose). I can’t use external crystals or change pin assignments. Hi, I have a strange situation I can't figure out. I'm new at DMA so I just follow directions as  best I can without a full understanding. Right now, my setup is more or less working for a few months. But today I encountered a problem. I am using UCPD with DMA. Somehow UCPD starts sending data that is equivalent to all 0s. Basically, the data being sent to UCPD by the DMA is all 0s. UCPD encodes this and sends it out over the data channel. Its the correct number of bytes. Also, the preamble and header which are made by UCPD are both correct. I've checked with a scope to verify what is going out. And I've checked with a debugger to verify what is going into the DMA.Can you think of any reason why the DMA would transfer just 0s to the peripheral? Or why the peripheral would receive 0s? Does the DMA buffer need to be volatile? Makes sense that it would need to be but following the STM example code for UCPD their DMA buffers were not volatile.. Also I shou

I am using the STM32WB55 microcontroller for my product. I want to connect more than one module to my Windows laptop. When I pair one module, it pairs correctly, but when I try to connect another module with the same firmware, it shows the message "Try to connect your device again" and does not connect. I have tried changing many things, but it is still not working. Where do I need to make changes so I can connect both devices with the same firmware to my laptop?

I am using the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q.I am using the OSPI peripheral in QSPI mode.The device I am communicating with needs a longer delay after the CS line is asserted low.I have tried setting the "ChipSelectHighTime" to 8, but I think this only affects the "number of clocks which the chip select must remain high between commands." I do not believe this controls the timing of a delay after the CS is asserted. I also looked into the "Delay Block"; however, this looks like it controls delays for reads only if I understand it correctly. 

Hello All, I wonder if someone here can help me out.  I have spend a large number of hours over a few days on and off trying to drive a bitstream into a WS2812B using DMA.  I have proven the hardware by bit-banging into the LED and it works as expected. I have the DIN pin of the WS2812B to PA3 configured for TIM2_CH4, this is a clean project with nothing else in the way.  Clocks are configured to the point where I can get the expected frequency/duty cycle I need, and I have 24 bytes of static data that I want to send to the PWM CCP to create a bitstream. The code is below, I have gotten this far be reading, seeing examples, even chatting with Chat GPT, and I just cannot get this to work.  The code below yields nothing out, its just always low.  If I enable the PWM by uncommenting lines 102 and 103 I get the expected 803Khz at 50% mark/space.In my main loop I am trying to trigger a DMA transfer once ever 500ms...

I’m currently working on a project that involves I2C communication using the STM32H750B-DK  but I’m having trouble identifying which I2C peripheral (I2C1, I2C2, etc.) is connected to the Arduino I2C pins (SDA/SCL) on the board.Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the schematic diagram of the board or any clear documentation that specifies this mapping.

I have successfully built the LoRaWAN_End_Node example from the stm32cube_fw_wl_v1.3.0 library. I have installed the ChirpStack FUOTA server, which is running successfully.Current Progress:1. The multicast group is created on the ChirpStack server.2. The multicast setup request is successfully sent to the end device.3. The device creates the multicast session and switches to Class C.4. Data is received on multicast port 201 (fragmentation port).Issue:Despite receiving data on port 201, the fragmentation decoding process is not being initiated on the device.

Hi everyone, I’m currently struggling to understand the behavior of the power line on the Nucleo-H753ZI board. My goal:The Nucleo board should be programmable via CN1 (Micro USB, ST-Link connection to PC). When connected, this should provide both 3.3V and 5V.While maintaining this connection, I want to enable an external switch to power the board via a Power Delivery (PD) power bank, which supplies 5V.The idea is that the CN1 connection can then be disconnected without causing a reset or power loss, as long as external power is already connected.

I'm trying to test out Full Speed USB Communication with the STM32F407 DISCOVERY board.I'm sending 1 MB of data to the serial port of the computer and receiving them and saving the data using a python script. The speed I'm getting is close to 350 kB/s (~0.34 MB/s), but USB FS theoretical speed is 1.2 MB/s.  Hello,I'm facing an issue while performing OTA firmware updates using the ST BLE Toolbox app. The image file uploads successfully in most cases, but quite often, the final confirmation pop-up (indicating completion or prompting for reboot) does not appear. Additionally, the BLE connection does not disconnect automatically after the upload finishes.As a result, the firmware gets stuck, and it seems the device is not transitioning out of the OTA mode properly. I suspect the problem might be related to BLE service handling in the firmware, possibly missing a disconnection trigger or final response from the app.Has anyone else faced a similar issue or can suggest what part of the BLE service code should be checked for proper OTA completion and BLE disconnection?Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.
