Hi, I have a problem with CMSIS RTOS v1 using STM32F103RET6. I have about 6 - 7 tasks. The first task is the StartDefaultTask, after finishing initializing, when running to osSemaphoreRelease, it gets to configAssert(pxQueue) and loop forever. The semaphore is reference to another task, which the task combines at least two semaphores to work. Can anyone meet this before? Also the task which combines two semaphores work like this, where the callback_timeout is released from the StartDefaultTaskif(osSemaphoreWait(save_data, osWaitForever) == osOK){ if(osSemaphoreWait(callback_timeout,osWaitForever)==osOK){ 

Hi STM Team, I am using STM32H723ZGT6 Microcontroller for my new project, I am using Azure RTOS for My application.I required to copy my data to Pendrive (I am using USB Host Only Mode and USBX and FileX).As well as i also required to use USB CDC ACM for my other device Virual COM Communication as USB Device mode.When I select USB OTG Dual Role in STM Cube MX, there is no applications and examples given to use dual role as USB Host and Device at same time.Is Any Hardware Changes are required? Now I am using Nucleo-STM32H723Z Development Board for this testing.Can you Help On this.

Hi,I created custom board using STM32C071CBT6 MCU and using USB port in device only mode. I have connected VBuS sensing through potential divider circuit to GPIO PA10 of my controller. My device is self powered. I read some USB related articles from STMicro for other controllers and noticed that for self powered devices VBus sensing is mandatory and should be connected to PA9 as this pin has internal functionality of VBus sensing.In my configuration I have disabled VBus sensing. However, my device is getting detected by host.Do I have to enable VBus sensing as my device is self powered? If yes, then how it will impact functionality?Should it be connected to PA9 for STM32C0xx also? Can I use PA10 with some code modifications, as my hardware is already developed?I checked datasheet and reference manual of this MCU and could not find any reference of VBuS sensing through PA9.Thanks,Pradeep 

Hello,I am currently working with a custom board using an STGIB15CH60TS-LZ driver and an STM32H503RBT6 microcontroller.The motor is a 48V, 500W, 300 RPM brushless motor with three Hall effect sensors (120° mechanical angle, 300° electrical angle). It is used in an electric bike.I am using the FOC algorithm with:Single shunt resistor16k PWM generationHall sensors as the main sensorEverything works correctly, but I sometimes have an issue at startup and under load. Once the motor is running, the issue does not occur.The image shows the three Hall effect sensors during a failed startup. In this case, the issue comes from the C2 signal.I believe the problem is caused by small movements in the opposite direction of the expected motor rotation for the FOC algorithm. hi guys,I am experiencing an issue related to the "devnonce is too small" error. When I attempt to switch end nodes in the TTN network, I change the end node network keys (such as Join EUI, Dev EUI, and App Key) through USART. I stop the LoRa MAC, deinitialize it, and then start it again with the new end node network keys. However, I encounter the "devnonce is too small" error during this process.

Hello! I'm creating my own board based on the STM32H745I-DISCO board. I want to use the LQFP208 package of the STM32H745, which has fewer pins than the original package of the DISCO board. I need to connect Ethernet, a display, and QSPI, among other peripherals. I've encountered a conflict where the LCD_DE pin connects to PF10, which is also used by the QSPI_CLK pin. I saw that QSPI_CLK is also available on PB2. However, PB2 is occupied by MII_TX_ERR/nINT.My question arises when I notice that this pin is not defined in the Ethernet configuration in MXCube (I'm new to the CubeIDE environment and ST's frameworks, and I'm worried I might be missing something). In fact, I disconnected this pin between the Ethernet driver and the STM32H745, and communication with a test server still works. So my question is: Is it really a good idea to leave the MIIMII_TX_ERR/nINT pin unconn

Hello, I'm learning embedded development (junior level) and picked up a free STM32u575zit6q Nucleo Dev Board.My goal is to build an embedded system that captures a VIN string and saves it to a .csv file. Ideally done through embedded and low level. Later I'd like to incorporate cloud systems to easily see the csv as a spreadsheet on an app or webpage and phase out the LCD/IPS display.My main question is, how important is an FIFO for this board and would it hurt if I don't buy a camera that has one installed? What cams would be ideal for this project? Is there a system for scanning VINs and converting them to strings easily? hello,everyone!Recently, I found a strange problem when using STM32H723's bootloader to download programs through uart.When I tried to read out the 256 bytes I wrote and compared them, I found that the first 32 bytes were 0xff and the data after that was correct. After confirmation, these 32 bytes were indeed not written into flash, I don't know why? 

Stlink-V3PWR no longer works because it displays the message "embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication" and "Connection to target must be established before performing file download operation". I have already tested the power supply voltage and it is ok, several adjustments in the STM32CubeProgrammer, I replaced the USB cable with a new one, etc. What can I do to save the Stlink V3PWR? Figure above Log Cube Programmer

Hello all,We are currently using the STM32G0B1RE in our design, where both HSE and LSE external oscillators are used. The PLL is configured to multiply the 8 MHz input to 64 MHz. All clock configurations are performed via STM32CubeIDE and HAL, and the system is functioning normally.I intend to implement a Clock Security System (CSS) mechanism to detect oscillator faults. The goal is logging and allow system to switch to an internal oscillator (HSI or LSI) without performing a system reset and resume its working.I’ve configured the HAL_RCC_NMI_IRQHandler() to handle these events, and depending on the source of the failure, either HAL_RCC_CSSCallback() or HAL_RCC_LSECSSCallback() is called.I am testing with shorting oscilators probs. Hello, I have encountered a similar problem to the one in this link .I am also trying to use the UCPD Monitor to send message. For example, I request a new voltage from the source using the "Request Power Profile" message from the "Message Selector" , and I always get "Message rejected for this port configuration". After some investigations ,I find out that the USBPD_PE_Send_Request() function in the  USBPD_DPM_RequestMessageRequest() function is not working. It returns USBPD_OK the first time I use this function to request another fixed voltage PDO(9V)，but actually it is not working. And when I use it again , it returns USBPD_BUSY. Besides, if I request the APDO, it returns USBPD_ERROR.

Hello,  I am using STM32L0 microcontroller in my device. I put my device in deep sleep and wakeup using the same button by sorting SYS_WAKEUP2 pin and nearby PC14 is used as an Input pin (pulled-up).  The issue is when I disconnect & reconnect USB power to the my device, it does not start at all. Hello,  Does someone have information, project, whatever that can help me understand how do the Queues and Nodes work and interact with each other?  My STM32 has two ADCs, ADC1 & ADC4, and i want to trigger both of them to read values comming from multiple potentiomenters with a timer configured in output compare mode.  The problem is that i have to configure a linkedlist with a Queue and a Node and if i configure two nodes the values of the ADCs seen through the live expression get stuck at 0. Any help is welcomed ...  

Hi team,I am using STM32G0B1 for my project development were I use PA4 as a ADC_IN in analog mode and using RTC for date and time setting, though I am not using(/set) RTC_OUT but  1 Hz RTC calibration output getting activated at power on or at rebbot. To fix this issue I explicitly calling the “HAL_RTCEx_DeactivateCalibrationOutPut(&hrtc)” in main.c this fix the issue.What is the expected fix of this issue? why its occuring ? does the place/time of calling that API matters?

Hello,I am a beginner trying to create my first STM32 project using the STM32F407G Discovery Board. I am trying to receive audio input through I2S, delay one of the channels, and then output the result to the audio jack. I can get a simple sine wave to play through the headphones, but when I try to use two SPH0645LM4H-B microphones, I only get a beeping noise through the headphones. This even happens when I don't use the delay and simply try to play the microphone input through the headphones. Sometimes making noise near the microphones has an effect on the volume of the noise. I have the microphones connected just like it says to on the datasheet and I have been trying to fix the problem for weeks with no progress. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I am coming up on a deadline for the project and I don't know what to do. I've attached the main file and the I2C drivers to this post. Hello,We are planning to revise a design which consists of STM32H7 MCUs as of now to STM32U595VJT6Q.On the new boards we are planning to connect two memories on the OCTALSPI interface one being: IS66WVS1M8BLL which is a QSPI PSRAM and another is W25Q32JV which is a QSPI flash.The two memories will be connected in the QSPI multiplexed mode to the MCU. Hello Is it possible to communicate with the LPAWUL using only the STM32CubeMX MRSUBG/LPAWUR settings, to wakeup sending a direct message through the data buffer? I noticed on GitHub that the CRC calculation and the concatenation of the preamble and sync word are handled separately. I’d like to simplify this process and configure everything directly through the MRSUBG settings, if possible. I’d be grateful if you could provide an example.
