Hy,  i am new here and need help. Is there an exemple of a cube ide project with all the important files like .ioc ect.?I have problems with the onboard display.I use the sdram bank2 as framebuffer (startaddress 0xd0000000). I can see (mem window) that the framebuffer has valid color data but the display dont do anything! The display is always white....... Thx for all your feedback

Hi there,I'm currently trying to get SPI Communication with the LTC1403 up and running, however I'm struggling with the timing of the Conv Signal.It seems like I need the rising edge of SCK at the same time as the Conv Signal is high. How can I achieve this? Some Pseudo Code would already help me a lot.The Conv signal is currently connected to the hardware NSS Signal, maybe connecting it to a timer output would have been smarter?

Hello !My Nucleo-F411RE board is visible in Cygwin as dev/ttyS3. I try to send message "Hello !" to Nucleo and receive answer from it, but inside the code I found in the internet, the functions tcgetattr() and tggetattr() return the error Invalid argument. If I realize it is true, is it needed to solder SB12 in NUCLEO-WBA52CG board for using SWO as ITM_SendChar in printf debug? Thank you for helping!

Hello; I am very new to STM32 products. I have been working with the P2P_Server and P2P_client examples using the STM32WB05KZV6TR MCU.As I use the P2P_clent example in both the Nucleo board WB05KZ and a custom board and load the built image, the next time I try to download a new image I need to put the nucleo board into Bootloader mode(BOOT0 jumped to Vcc) and download the new image that way. The custom board that I am working with currently has no hardware way of putting it into bootloader mode therefore I cannot load a new image.My question is, why do I need to put the nucleo board into bootloader mode to load an P2P_Client image?, The P2P_server does not have this issue Is there a way to prevent this? thanks Fernando

About two years ago I asked a student to work with the STM32WB55RG in his final year project. It was about using the STM32WB55 for a custom sensor node that is transmitting data using BLE. All started with the respective Nucelo Board.The student managed to get the non-BLE part running on the Nucleo board, but not the BLE part. The project finally failed and slept about 2 years. Now I have a different usecase. So I thought I will do it on my own. My linked-list object's base address in memory is 0x200bffbc.   How can I save this address in GPDMA_CxLBAR register (that holds "the linked-list base address of the memory region, for a given channel x, from which the LLIs describing the programmed sequence of the GPDMA transfers, are conditionally and automatically updated")  when GPDMA_CxLBAR designated region for the address (LBA[31:16]) is only 16 bits long? Anyone can help please? 

Hello everyone,We constantly receive orders from our customers that they got some motors which their nominal speed, nominal voltage, and etc. are approximately similar to each other, but their Rs, Ls, Ke, and pole pairs may differ.They want us to design an inverter board in such a way that it can get these motors running, providing the capability to see if their motors are damaged or not, just by using a single board without the need to customize the firmware or the hardware for each motor. So, we need to somehow get pole pairs of the motor from the user, change it in the firmware and run the profiling process.For such purposes,What can we do by using ST motor control workbench?What are the related APIs to achieve this goal?Is this even possible?Thank you!

Question about synchronous launch of three timers.Given:- CPU F0 or F4 or G4 (of course F103 is possible - I just don't like it, personal dislike);- three timers, each with its own operating frequency, Timers work via DMA, each with its own buffer for PWM generation;Task:- simultaneous launch of all three timers;Limits:- interrupts are prohibited, no interrupts;With the same frequency - there are no problems, they start at the same time, but with different frequencies, everything diverges. Tell me if there is a solution.

Hi!I have a doubt as to when to choose FMC and when XSPI in regards to working with screen GUI with stm32h7s7. In few youtube tutorials, they are using FMC to load data to the screen but in the development board ".ioc" for the same the XPI1 and XPI2 have been configured and not FMC. What should be the basis for the selection as to what I should go with. I also have stm32h753 based board where there is no XSPI peripherals so does it really affect my firmware development if I choose to with stm32h753 as being LQFP it is easier hardware integration wise compared to the UFGBA pinout of S7.Additional Info:1) NOR flash memory - MX66LM1G45GXDI00-T2) PSRAM - APS256XXN-OBR-BG3) LCD interface - RGBThank You

Hi,I would like to implement a Modbus TCP server based on the library cubeMX and LWIP with the ability of multiple client connections.With only one client, it works perfectly well. With 2 clients, they can connect simultaneously but as soon as both send simultaneously a request, one of the 2 requests is discarded and it blocks the client.I checked the LWIP statistics but everything seems ok.I have to mention that I do not use a RTOS.Browsing the net, I didn’t find any example of multiple connection without RTOS, does anyone already succeed implementing such behavior?Many thanks in advance for your help

Hello everyone,I am kind of new to STM chips, i have a problem regarding programming the chip. I don't use any board, only chip on the SMD to DIP board. But when i want to program it using st-link, STM32cube can identify the programmer but not the chip, very few time it did find it but not most of the times. But if i start it with bootloader (Boot=1) everything is find and i can program it. Is this the only way or am i doing something wrong? Thd Chip is:STM32F103C

I feel duped right now.  I bought the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3 kit yesterday from st.com directly as my starting point into embedded stuff. Today I installed CubeIDE and went to generate a new project for the NUCLEO-F746ZG included in the kit, and I get a message telling me the board is obsolete. The kit says the marketing status is "active", but when I look up the NUCLEO-F746ZG directly, sure enough it says it's obsolete and I should use the NUCLEO-F756ZG instead.Why is this package marked as active and still in circulation? I feel this is just a way to sell obsolete boards to people don't know any better. Yeah I should have looked up the each board in the kit individually before buying, but I guess I was just burned out from researching all these different boards and I decided to trust that the kit is legit. edit: Maybe the wrong board is listed in the kit description?  I hope that's the case.  It's due to arrive on Monday, so I guess I'll see then.

Hi there,I have the following setup duplicated thrice in my project - to select three distinct parameters to define an object.Each listLayout is programmatically populated with a number of items (buttons). One screen has 5 items, the other two have 6. Five items fit perfectly on a screen and don't require a scrollbar, while six items require scrolling to see the final item. However, none of the scrollableContainer display their scrollbar until I touch the screen, despite me configuring it to do so (at least, that's what I think "Show scrollbars" means):

Hey everyone, I'm working with the STM32H747I-DISCO board and trying to get it into USB DFU mode to flash firmware using STM32CubeProgrammer. However, the board isn't being detected, and I couldn’t find clear instructions in the documentation about how to properly enter DFU mode. I plan to transmit stream of approx 10k characters by uart every second. For that purpose, I have definer global char array of 10.5k length. After working for few second, the MCU goes in HardFault.I tried with array of 1000 bytes only, it works fine. But as I increased to 10k bytes array, problem start coming.Should I change stack sizes in linker file. ? please suggest and where to change.

Hi,Using Wise studio Version: 1.3.1_R Build id: 2023_05 on Linux with the STEVAL-IDB012V1 (BlueRNG-LPS dev. kit). I am trying to make the DMA sending a series of bytes to the lowest byte of the GPIOB output. The goal is to see a binary sequence appear on PB0 and PB1. I filled the buffer "buffer" with values where bit 0 and 1 are changing. Then, I call the two functions depicted below but nothing happens on PB0 and PB1. I already verified that the counter is counting and the GPIO can drive different values on PB0 and PB1. Hi,TouchGFX does not like spaces in the path. I just wanted to check a couple of things please: 1) that is referring to the/my project path only, is that correct? 2) For those of you who use Dropbox, the Dropbox PC folder name cannot be changed and it always contains the team or person name + a space + "Dropbox". So it seems you cannot have your projects stored on Dropbox. And I would really need to have them there. Are there any workaround? How do you do it? Thank you :) 

Hello everyone!I've designed a PCB around the STM32H7B0 MCU (I've attached a screenshot of the relevant part of the schematic) for audio signal processing.  I wanted to use the maximum clock frequency of 280MHz, but this requires the use of Power Regulator Voltage Scale 0. And here is the problem: regardless of whether I use an internal or external clock source, as soon as I change the voltage scale from 3 to anything of higher performance, the MCU hangs when it comes to the oscillator/voltage scale switching. After that, I can't even program it using the usual means. I have to manually reset the MCU and completely erase the flash. I don't think it is a crystal problem since it works below 88MHz. I did not paste any code since the default generated HAL code has this behaviour.Could you please help me figure out why I can't use the high-performance modes? Is this a CubeMX configuration problem ,or something that I'm m
