Hi all,I am trying to understand how the OctoSPI and QuadSPI peripherals work in single-spi mode, specifically as to how they treat the IO2/nWP line.When the attached spi device (in my case, a NOR flash memory) operates in singlespi mode, i.e. after reset or power cycle, the line used for IO2 becomes nWP (active LOW write protect input to the memory chip).According to the reference manual (sect 19.4.4 of RM0432) and AN4760:Single-SPI mode (from RM0432):The legacy SPI mode allows just a single bit to be sent/received serially. How can i do that in touchgfx?The only way i managed to redirect user is local, creating interactions in each screen, but i want to do this globally.

Hi, I'm working on a custom board which I've been programming with an ST-LINK V2 using the SWCLK and SWDIO lines. I mistakenly left BOOT0 floating, but I need to order more boards, so I'm going to correct this mistake.My question: Am I right in thinking that if I tie BOOT0 to GND, the STM32F1 will boot on its own when powered-up (which doesn't currently happen - I have to rely on PlatformIO resetting it after uploading the program), but I'll still be able to program it using just the SWCLK and SWDIO lines? Or will I have to connect NRST as well? (NRST is currently floating but has an 100nf cap tied to GND as per the datasheet.)

Hello Everyone So I'm using a custom made STM32 board having STM32F103C8T6 MCU and after debugging the board using ST Link V2 when I try view the output through USB on my pc using the virtual COM Port and it is not working. As well as I have tried to view the output on the debugger console but it is showing temporary breakpoint for HAL_Init() . If their is any other way to view the output I would love to try and also the drivers I have install from STM32 website are for Win 7,8 versions and when I am connecting my board to my PC and opened the device manager to check the COM Port, in their under Universal Serial BUS Controller it is showing as a Unknown Device with a yellow caution sign. Do i need to have the latest drivers to view the output on Serial Wire mode?? and where can I find the latest driver for Win 11. I have attached the Pin configuration of my board and the code I am using below such that it can help you to understand the problem I am going through. Please guide

Hi, I am using custom board with STM32C071. I am trying to enable USB port with CDC so that my custom board will be visible as virtual com port on PC. After enabling all options and initializations, I was expecting that my board will appear on PC device manager COM port list but it does not appear. Below are the settings: 1. Clock configuration - In my hardware external crystal is connected of 8MHz and I see there is no PLL which can multiply it and hence I am using internal 48MHz clock. 2. Moreover, I also noticed that the USBPD_PWR_IF_SetProfile function is fixed to get only the first PDO due to explicitly choosing PORT0_PDO_ListSRC[0]. Is this an issue in the cubeMX code generation? Hello,I am trying to connect an ILI9325C display to an STM32F401RET6 microcontroller. After writing the code correctly and connecting the display, it doesn't respond and only has the backlight on (from the power supply). I connected the STM32 to a logic analyzer and started an SPI analysis. I configured the CPHA and CPOL settings to match those of the STM32, but I keep getting the error: "The initial (idle) state of the CLK line does not match the settings." This error occurs during every test.However, during one of the tests, I saw something start to display, some commands coming from MISO, but it was only once, and the display still didn't react.I would appreciate any help since I have been working on this for a total of 20 hours.Here are my attachments (comments in code are in polish):1. Here is the link to my display:

Hello, I set 120MHz to OCTOSPI for Octo-SPI PSRAM. With the ClockPrescaler 0x02, the PSRAM test takes several seconds. However, with the ClockPrescaler 0x00, it takes over 3 minutes. Does it mean any problem on the clock configuration of STM32CubeIDE? Hello, I'm trying to implement a custom BLE Client on a P-Nucleo-WB55 board. The ST P2p_client example runs fine on the board and I could add some traces and do little modifications in it before trying to start my project from scratch with CubeMX. It seems the VS_HCI_C2_Ready is not received in my project since I never reach a breakpoint in IPCC_C1_RX_IRQHandler. I have checked many times the differences (clocks, code generated, initialisations...) between the P2P example and my project. I don't know what more to check. Since the example runs fine, I guess it's not a stack firmware problem.If a kind soul could enlighten me...Thanks.

Initially flashed the device with a custom code from and it worked fine, the flashed device ran for several days in line power even after multiple power cuts. But one day it stopped trying to join at all. I have used an external RTC to generate alarms to send sensor data to gateway at a particular interval. The sensors, RTC are all initialized successfully and the messages are being printed and then the version of LoRa application versions are also being printed after that then after the device has to try joining i.e MAC Tx done. But I don't see anything printed after that, the code just stops there for no reason. Hi,While configuring STM32U585 controller USBX driver CDC virtual comport device is not showing in device manager. Pl provide sample code for STM32U585VIT6. This is out custom board with a USB port acting as device to the PC.

I am using an L432KC board and I am trying to read .txt files from my SD card through SPI, extract the bitmap array, and then push the bitmap through TFT_eSPI.h library. I am able to work with SD card and the display individually, but not together. If I run SD.begin() first, I can communicate with the SD card until I initialize the display. If I initialize the display first, SD card initialization fails. If I still try to run non-SD operations on my display like fillscreen, its too slow. However, I'm having difficulties putting the MCU to STOP using __WFI(). It works properly when calling __WFE(); __WFE(); (twice).According to Table 19 in the reference manual the following needs to be performed before trying to enter into Stop, otherwise the instruction will be ignored:Note: To enter stop mode, all EXTI line pending bits in EXTI_PR, all peripheral interrupts pending bits, the RTC alarms (A and B), RTC Wakeup, RTC Tamper, and RTC TimeStamp flags, must be reset. Hello, I'm porting code from L4 to U5. The original code was able to change flash during runtime (erase and program). The L4 Hal lib deactivated caches before flash operation and flushes them afterwards. This isn't done by the U5 Hal lib. I don't need explanation. It is ok for me, if you can confirm, that there is not risk, when cache is enabled during the programming U5. 

Hello,I'm using an STM32G474ME MCU for grid connected power converter applications.I use multiple ADC modules for current and voltage sensing of the converter, and when I drive the power converter, the result values ​​of all channels in certain ADC module are fixed to zero. The strange thing is that when it is fixed to 0, no ADC error occurs, and only the DR register value is fixed to zero. I am currently using ADC modules 1 to 5, and each module has 3 channels. The ADC starts by triggering the HRTIM interrupt, and the converted data is saved as an array using DMA. To help you understand, I have attached the Cube MX settings and registers of ADC module whose output(DR) is stucked to zero.What could be causing this problem? Could this phenomenon be caused by EMI due to the switching of the power converter? Here are some similar questions that have gone unanswered.

Hi -We are having difficulty programming STM32H7 via serial ports PB14-PB15 as USART1.  We are setup as described in AN2606, section 56.1 and we're using STM32CubeProgrammer for downloads.  The connection is established, but the first bootloader command (get ID) is nack'ed (picture below).connect, then fail "get-id"This same procedure works perfectly using PA9-PA10 (also an2606, 56.1).  PB14-PB15 fails.Summarizing our procedure, we first setup the configuration in STM32CubeMX defining PB14-PB15 as USART1

Hi!I have problems programing my custom board, I'm using a STM32F446RCT6, and I couldn't  establish a connection with my board, neither from STM32CubeIDE nor STM32CubeProgrammer.after a lot of time trying to debug the problem I found out that actually I can establish a connection (an program) the board, but only if I'm pressing two very specific buttons.The buttons were designed as general purpose buttons, but it seems they are connected to PB3 (JTDO) and PB4 (NJRST). We thought this pins could be configured as GPIO as well, but it seems something in the way those pins work is causing trouble.In the reference manual it states:"The debug pins are in AF pull-up/pull-down after reset:PA15: JTDI in pull-upPA14: JTCK/SWCLK in pull-downPA13: JTMS/SWDAT in pull-upPB4: NJTRST in pull-upPB3: JTDO in floating state"I'm assuming this is the problem; but I don't know if there is a way to c
