I'm developing a new project based on STM32G431RB using STM32CubeIDE 14.1.0 on macOSI'm having touble where the program will hang at the first call of HAL_Delay() and digging deeper it's hanging because HAL_GetTick always returns 0It looks like the SysTick timer is not running, or it's interrupt is not being called.I do not have interrupts enabled on any other peripherals.I have TIM1 configured as CH1_CH1N and that is working.I have TIM2 configured in Encoder mode, and that is working too.The only thing that is not working seems to be the System Timer.What could I possibly have done to disable it?My clock source is set to HSIHere is my "main"int main(void){  /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ uint8_t msg[64]; uint32_t lastCount;  /* USER CODE END 1 */  /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/

Hello everyone,I am using an STM32F407G-DISC1 and have a stereo configuration of MEMS microphones. I need to divide the I2S CLK, which is 1 MHz, by two for the PDM CLK. I've attempted the settings recommended in Application Note AN5027, but the frequency division is not functioning as expected (this was verified using an oscilloscope). There is only a constant low-level signal at the output.I connect the I2S CLK to the TIM TI1FP1 input as a trigger source for external clock mode 1, and then generate the output using CH2. Does anyone know where the problem might be? Thanks in advance. I'm also attaching screenshots of the wiring and TIM settings.

I am generating a sweep signal (a sine wave whose frequency increases over time) on STM32F4 Discovery board by using a look-up table and changing the Prescaler value of TIM2. Unfortunately, the transition from one frequency to another is not smooth and continuous because Prescaler can only be an integer value. For example, if I want my sweep to start from 500Hz and reach 800Hz, I expect the output to be a continuous sinusoid which takes all values between this range. Hi,I wan't to use the stm32 as described in the videohttps://youtu.be/dd5LaqmN8O0https://controllerstech.com/stm32-timers-9-one-pulse-mode/with the difference that I uses the trm4  and the input trigger is channel 1.Operation is ok but applying the signal from a 3.3v signal generator lowers it to 2.3v! It's as if the input resistance of the trigger was a little too low. But I can't find anything about this. I applied this same signal to an input on capture, and there no problem, the signal remains at 3.3v.Do you have any idea about the cause of this drop in signal?

Hi,I'm using Nucleo H7A3ZI-Q board and I'm trying to use HAL_UART_Transmit function to print hello world in serial monitor(on puTTy). Code is building without any issues but there's no characters showing in serial monitor, I tried the same  code on H7 development kit and still have the same issue. I know the code is correct as I tried it with Nucleo F401RE board previously. In code I created an array and assign hello world to it, then give the transmit command. What could be the issue here?

Hello community ,I have configured STM32G030 as SPI Slave in DMA mode where master commands poll rate at 50 ms . I have set NSS pin as Hardware input as it is slave . As soon as NSS pin PB0 detects ,SPI DMA transmission starts in hardware level. Payload length is 9 Bytes where last two bytes are dummy . sometimes one bit is in 7th byte's nibble(checksum) is getting left shifted by 1 . so checksum is getting failed . example:- {0x44,0x00,0x00,0x11,0x00,0x00,0x8a,0x00,0x00,};(checksum should be 0x89 (1000 1001) ,but it is received as 0x8a(1000 1010))kindly give your suggestions for solving this    SPI_HandleTypeDef spi_handle; DMA_Hand

Hi, I am facing a problem to connect the B-L4S5I-IOT01A STM32 board to Wifi. I downloaded X-Cube-AWS. And STM32L4 Discovery Kit IoT Node (B-L475E-IOT01A) ISM43362-M3G-L44-SPI-C3.5.2.7.STM SPI Firmware but still fails to connect. Hello everyone,I'm working on a NUCLEO board (stm32wba52cg) and currently testing some of the baord's features, but i'm facing a strange problem with RTC. Problem is that the Interrupt of the wakeupTimer start firing immediatly after its initialization, then the program get stuck in a loop of infinite RTC IRQs (see the atteached screenshots):

I am trying to offset the RTC by milliseconds. I have read through the documentation on this and this has lead me to RTC_SHIFTR. I have looked for examples how to set this up and what maths I need to use. However I am still unable to see the results I am expecting. Hi All, I am trying to develop a loader application to load a firmware image on to the NOR flash memory using QUAD SPI. I am not sure about the NOR flash memory part available on the STM32H747I-eval board. There is only limited details on it as it obsolete. I am planning to use the "1-Gbit twin Quad-SPI NOR flash memory or two 512-Mbit Quad-SPI NOR flash" as in the user manual. Assuming the part is Micron - MT25QL01GB it tried to erase a sector. But it did not work. I configured the M7 core for quad SPI. Below is my QSPI setting also attaching my main.c and QSPI files. Are there some road map to add it? And question to forum. May be someone can share UVC host (not device) driver for STM32 (L4 or F4 specifically) on HAL level? For my study I'm trying to connect to STM32L4 usb web cam, but I need to develop whole UVC host driver for it. May be someone can help with suggestions at least?Thanks,Boris

Hello!I have an ART_PI board with STM32H750XBHX MCU and W25Q64 FLASH IC on it.I want to make my own loader, but it doesn't work as it should.Running until the memcmp cycle, I look at the memory map. But the content is not good. There are values 00000000, 11111111, 22222222 instead of 00, 01, 02. Thus, memory comparison is not good.I can't find the error.I am attaching the files and the picture showing the memory map.Thanks for the help!

Hello people, i am making a project using STM32F407VG and i am using a timer that drives a laser. The problem is, when debugging STM is probably pulling couple of its pins to High state before i start F8 (between pressing the 'Debug' button and F8 to stop the program waiting at HAL_Init() function after i run the code it switches back to LOW state ) and messes up with my laser circuit. I want to know which pins go to High state and why, and see if i can control it i really have to deny it pulling to high state. Thanks for the help. Have a great day !  

so my project consists of : exploiting the serial communication to send the conversion data from ADC1 Channel 1 in ASCII format and considering a verification scenario for the program's functionality.about the verification scenario i visualize it in "putty" and it is right (i'm using a potentiometer like an analog input to my ADC ) (i also used a multimeter to know that adc is reading the input correctly)  and i get logique outputs is there any other thing i need to check that UART communication is set perfectly any verification scenario i should also implement???

I have two STM32 micros connected via CAN transceivers.  The sending unit is transmitting without issue, as evidenced by measuring both the CANH/CANL bus wires, as well as the CAN_RX/CAN_TX logical wires on the transmitter.  I did have to slow the bus down significantly due to high capacitance (troubleshooting at 20 kbps; hope to increase speed once I get the situation figured out).  I am using classic 11-bit identifiers, subdivided into a 7-bit message type and a 4-bit node ID.I can see the ACK bit on the CAN wire, so I know the receiver in the chip is correctly identifying the frame.  However, the receiver's two FDCAN interrupts never fire.  I have both set the non-matching 11-bit identifier action to FDCAN_ACCEPT_IN_RX_FIFO0 as well as set a id/mask filter with a mask of 0, as well as a filter set up the way I would intend for my application.  I will now let the code speak for itself: First, the MX-generated initializer is c

I'm trying to use SPI to communicate with a display (BT817) and whenever it tries to send data, the while (!LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(EVE_SPI)) {} never returns.  I've attached my CUBE IDE project.  Could anyone possibly give some guidance?  Am I missing a setting, have the clock misconfigured?  The board has a STM32F030R8Tx.Kindest regards

I'm trying to control a LTC-2668 dac device, through the spi interface. The dac opperates on mode 00 and spi commands are 24 bits long. I am developing an application for the STM32U575, and am currently testing on the Nucleo-U575ZI-Q. As per the reference manual (Rev. 4) Section 10.9 PWR Interrupts, Table 110 Note 1: "The PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated only when the device is in Stop 3 mode (not applicable in Run, Sleep, Stop 0, Stop 1, and Stop 2 modes)."However this is not the behaviour I am observing. I have found that the PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated whenever the Stop 3 mode is configured as the Deep Sleep Mode (i.e. PWR_CR1 LPMS[2:0] = 0b011), even if the stop mode is never entered.Can I please get confirmation what behaviour I can expect, for the nucleo and my target hardware (STM32U575VIT6Q)
