STM32 MCUs Software development tools

I have an stm32 board connected to a raspberry pi.I am trying to start a remote debug session from StmCube IDE Installed on my computer and I get this error.I haven't encountered this problem before and I don't quite understand its cause because I have configured everything correctly :- in Cube IDE Debug Configuration I selected connect to remote GDB Server with correct host name and port 3333.- in the pi side I created an openocd.cfg file which includes "bindto 0.0.0.0" command in order to allow connections from any ip.

Hello all, I need to use some FFT functions. I have installed the CMSIS-DSP 1.16.2 and CMSIS 6.3 core as it was required from  CMSIS-DSP. Surprisingly, CubeMX did only a part of its job, namely it did not copy source files and did not add proper include paths to the project so I have to do it myself. But after this there is still a bunch of unresolved references, namely arm_cfft_sR_f32_lenxxx and twiddleCoef_rfft_xxx. I have looked all sources in the CubeMX H7 pack version 1.13.0 I use through but could not find these sources. With best regards,Dmitry 

Hello, Iam working o STM32H573I-DK Board when am trying to access board am getting trustzone issue.I tried with Debug Authentication also but am unable to access board.Find the attached description. 

  I have tried using STM32CubeMX 6.17.0 to generate an STM32F429 DISC1 project.The generated project opened in STM32CubeIDE could not be compiled unless I add <root folder> in Project -> Properties -> C/C++ General -> Path and Symbols, the source location tab.I don't know how this happen. It's disturbing to modify project settings each time after modifying the CubeMX and generating the project.It's probably that should happened after I add some source folders to the projects. 

I am working with STM32N6570-DK. My code is building fine , suddenly a hard fault has started coming. I have tried updating firmware, resetting the board, unplugging and reconnecting it, But debugger is getting stopped after sometime.

Hi @Ghofrane GSOURI. I just noticed new STM32CubeMX2. It's for STM32C series currently but I downloaded it to check it out. It looks very nice, that's for sure. Yet this topic is about file format. MX2 re-uses .ioc file extension but it's format is strange. It is made of JSON/Python?? multiline strings containing JSON and YAML. I don't understand what format is it exactly. The data inside it is also hard to understand and there is a lot of clutter, like IDs, URIs, URLs, descriptions, etc. Why on earth would somebody put field description text beside field name and value?If I may express may opinion - this is awful. It's even worse than old format. It won't be easy to merge changes in such file. It looks like it's a mash-up of multiple tools/libraries serialized states. CubeMX developers are going to have backward and forward compatibility problems and end users are going to suffer if bugs emerge.I would like to suggest o

Hey Team, Another day with a different problem.We have reached the point where we have to migrate to either XIP or LRUN in the life cycle of our project.We choose to do XIP and set up the External memories appropriately , For this workflow, we are using the the stm32N6DK, and  MX66UW1G45G_STM32N6570-DK.stldr for starters.We have set up the debug session as indicated in the  Getting started with STM32N6 MCUs in STM32CubeIDEAttached are theDebug logs from some of the debug sessions.The content of my linker scripts (FSBL) and (APPLI)Screen shoots of debug configurations . 

I am working with the STM32N6-GettingStarted-ObjectDetection demo.  I found that doing a full chip erase wipes some bootloader code.  I was able to get my project going again by flashing the .hex file that came with the STM32N6-GettingStarted-ObjectDetection demo, the loading my code. Digging around on the net suggested that the prebuilt demo has a bootloader.  I have been unable to locate the bootloader.Can you provide me with the bootloader, preferably as a .hex file?

We have a custom stldr file that we generate to program external flash on our board with STM32U599VJ MCU, we use STM32 CUBE IDE with Jlink. How do I point the IDE to use my stldr file when loading code to onchip and external flash? The option to point to an external loader stldr appears on my if the debug configuration is chosen with STLink, not for Jlink.  ThanksSansh

I upgraded to STM32CubeIDE Version: 2.1.1 and imported my existing projects as STM32. I opened Project / Properties / C/C++ Build and it says "This is not a CDT project." I've never seen that before using version 1.18.1. What happened and how can I fix it?

I am using STM32C071FBP6N MCU TSSOP 20 pin package for one of our project.I am observing Pin_20 is muxed with lot of other pins like PB3/PB4/PB5/PB6. if i select PB3 as GPIO_Output using STM32CubeMx and generated a code. If i try to toggle the pin but its not working at all, none of the peripheral on that pin for PB3 is working. But if i select PB6 as GPIO_Output i can able to toggle or modify.This issue is not only with Pin_20, same with Pin_1 also which shares with PB7/PB8, only PB7 is working.I have tried with multiple chips what could be wrong in this scenario??

Hi. I have a request. Is it possible to compile STM32CubeProg for arm linux?Right now it is possible to compile firmware for stm32 on arm linux using the stm32duino toolchain from ST.However, the STM32CubeProg is only available on intel linux. This means we can compile firmware on an arm system such as Raspberry Pi 4, but there is no official tool to upload the firmware.Note I'm not asking for the whole STM32Cube IDE - just the STM32CubeProg cli would be sufficient.

Hello, I have managed to use stm32flash to flash custom binary to the STM32 through the raspberry pi.This involves moving BOOT0 to 0V, pressing reset and running the command.I can also include -R to software reset the STM32 after this is finished.I then decided to try using a GPIO from the PI to change BOOT0 from 3.3v to 0V and this also works but I still have to manually press the reset button on the bluepillI have read the following but finding it a little hard to understandGPIO sequence: - entry sequence: GPIO_3=low, GPIO_2=low, GPIO_2=high - exit sequence: GPIO_3=high, GPIO_2=low, GPIO_2=high stm32flash -R -i -3,-2,2:3,-2,2 /dev/ttyS0Are these GPIO pins from the Pi or from the STM32?How do I connect this?I thought about applying 0V to the reset pin on the STM32 but I see a capacitor is used and this is further confusing.The reason I need this is for firmware upd

Hello,I've been working with the new VS Code extensions for several weeks, and debugging feels quite unstable. I'm using a j-Link Plus. At random times, I suddenly can't debug anymore, everything seems to freeze, and in the Debug Console I see something like this:The number (6760 here) increases by hundreds per second and will never stop. Every time such a random debug freeze happens, I see this last line with the counting number box, always reading 4 bytes somewhere (different addresses), as if some read action hangs in an endless loop. Only way to get it working again is by closing the whole debug session and starting anew.Sometimes I can debug
