STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

Hi,I’m working with an .ioc file to generate functionality, but the changes I make in the .ioc file are not being reflected in the generated code. I can see the updates inside the .ioc file itself, but the code generation does not apply those changes.Has anyone faced this issue before or knows why this might be happening? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hii Everyone, I am trying to debug with SWO and SWV in STM32CubeIDE with NUCLEO-H753ZI. But, I am not getting any prints on SWV ITM Data console. As you can see all settings in the below attachments. My CPU system clock is running at 400Mhz. Anyone suggest me to get prints in SWV/ITM Data console.

Firstly, the installation process is pretty ugly and the documentation is very sparse.From the README.md file:This application runs from the external Flash memory (LwIP_TCP_Echo_Server Appli).It boots from internal Flash (Template_XIP_Boot) then jumps to the application code in external Flash.To configure STM32CubeIDE Debug Configuration, you must do the following : 1. Hi there,So I'm using STM32CubeIDE as is the program we use in Embedded Systems subject at my university. I installed it on Arch with GNOME 49 Wayland (I know, they hate each other) and I'm passing the GDK_BACKEND=x11 environment variable. I've already fixed the debugger not having the proper libncurses version and now I can upload code to the board but I cant visualize IOC files, board selector, etc. Any help would be very appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Has anyone worked with the Serial Wire Viewer on an STM32H7RS board?We've been using it on a F7 board, without too much issue, but we are stuck on this new board. We've followed the usual steps :- Enable Serial Wire Viewer (SWV) in Debug configuration (using the CPU Core Clock)- Overwrite the "_write" function to use ITM_SendChar(...) (also tested that it works and calls it for every character we send with printf()- Open the SWV ITM Data Console, enabling port 0 and start trace. However, nothing appears in the console :( We double

I want to use the rsa feature of mbedtls but when I uncomment #define MBEDTLS_RSA_C in the mbedtls_config file it is showing undefined reference to mbedtls_rsa_get_len, mbedtls_rsa_check_pub_priv, mbedtls_rsa_init, mbedtls_rsa_free and mbedtls_rsa_import_raw.

Hello, I am starting my project with CubeMX and CubeIDE right now and I am encountering massive time issues.For example it took almost 25 minutes to go from the IOC file to the generated code (throuh the autogenerating functionnality). It also took 3 minutes and 45 seconds to build a basically empty program (except for the inits).I'm running on CubeIDE v1.19 and CubeMX v6.15.My laptop is Windows 11, I have 32 GB RAM, 13th Gen intel Core i7-13700H.If you guys have any advice on how to work around it that would be great. Thank you very much !

I guess this is a GCC question, not specific to CubeIDE, but perhaps someone here knows? Is there a way to make GCC report all the appearances of the undeclared identifier - not just the first?I would find this more useful - rather than having to do a separate search to see if there are any other occurrences.eg, It's not uncommon that I make the same spelling mistake in multiple places; or make a spelling mistake in the declaration, but spell all the references correctly; etc, ... Googling hasn't helped me - it's just swamped by people explaining what "undeclared identifier" means.I know what "undeclared identifier" means.

Hi , I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.17.0 & I am getting "Failed to parse WMIC output" in the error log and It is not stopping even when the kit is connected. Attaching screenshot. 

If I have a bootloader that resides at 0x8000000 and the main program starts at 0x8008000 I can load it with the debugger and all is fine. I can run it in standa alone mode with the bootloader jumping to it as well. However, if I try to restart and rerun the program with the debugger it doesn't work and I have to reprogram. Is there a way to set up the debugger so that I don't have reprogram each time please? FWIW doing this on a L476.Thanks!

Hello, I have an stm processor (stm32h7b3zitx) connected to an ST Link V3 that is on an ubuntu server. My goal is to connect to the ST Link and run a remote debugging session from my windows laptop running the stm32CubeIDE. To accomplish this I have been running st-util -v -p 61234 on the ubuntu server and using the following debugging configuration in the cube ide.I am port forwarding via an ssh connection to expose port 61234 on my windows machine. When I go to debug, I get the following error

I'm looking for a way to have cubeIDE read from a .bin or .txt file on windows 11 and insert it's contents into a string array in my code during the build process. So, if we have a file called "file.bin" stored somewhere on windows. and inside this file we have "Text from file.bin"In our code we haveunsigned char string[];After build we haveunsigned char string[] = "Text from file.bin"  

Hi everyone,I’m currently trying to debug my project. However, as soon as I start the debugger, I always get the following error message: "No source available for main() at 0x80048bc". I'm trying to flash a STM32H723ZG with STM32CubeIDE 1.14.0 and ST-LINK V2 and use OSPI peripheral to communicate with the W25Q256 external flash as QSPIand I have this error:(I have tried all the suggestions given in the community to solve this problem, but I still haven't got any results. Have you fixed the project opening problem with CubeIDE?You mustn't open the generated project, mustn't import the project, you only can use the button in the MX message-window, "open project". If you don't, you cannot compile the project.After that, new errors are coming: PDSC version is not supported. There is no "PDSC settings" in the projekt, so what is it?These applications (CubeIDE + MX + MC SDK) are still unstable and very slow products!

hello we want to use cube debuger in debug whith the qspi. We have some data in the qspi programed by my bootloader or whith the cube programer  Qspi is MX25L51245G we have test them and it is running well the linker QSPI (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x90000000, LENGTH = 32M My data declared as .extflash_data : { KEEP(*(.extflash_data)) } >QSPI We have test the program with my bootloader it was OK. We want now use the project with the debugger : how we can remove the programation of QSPI when we enter in debug?

I need help creating new Stm32 project, it dosent allow me to press finish.
