Hi, I'm working on a new Firmware Framework, but I need to use C++17 standard. I used STM32CubeMx tools for generating code and now I'm compiling with C++14.How I can change standard? Instead to compile with C++14 I want to compile using C++17.

Hi.Does anyone know how to include header files in a .zip export of a project? This applies in particular to projects that have started life as a ST example project. These projects don't show header files in the Project Explorer. You have to use the Include Browser in order to open header files. I have to archive a project in a self contained way, so can't use any of the online source management services. Preferably the archive should include all the files needed to build the project and no more. The actual project is based on the STM32H573I-DK_aws_eth example project. All the files shown in Project Explorer are actually resources linked to files in the AWS package. This makes it impracticable to select the necessary files using the operating system file system. I can't attach the exported file for this project, so I've attached one for a simple ST example project which shows the same problem. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, I am trying to integrate Honeywell MPR pressure sensor (which runs over the SPI) with the Nucleo board using the STM32cube IDE. The library and everything else is working fine with the Arduino IDE environment but deploying things over the STM32cube IDE is having an issue.Upon sending any command to the sensor, I am not receiving anything back from the sensor. Is there a problem in the configuration of the SPI to match the sensor requirement, if yes, then what should i try to adjust ?Anyone else having the same issue ?

Hello ST Team, I am using STM32CubeIDE and working on STM32F072R8T6 MCU. I am not able to debug my code. Same code was working fine till few days.  But now it give  me follow errorError: Data mismatch found at address 0x08001D99 (byte = 0x60 instead of 0x68) Error: Download verification failed Encountered Error when opening C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.18.0\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.cubeprogrammer.win32_2.2.100.202412061334\tools\bin\STM32_Programmer_CLI.exeError in STM32CubeProgrammerShutting down...Exit. Please help me for the same. I'm having trouble connecting my STM32 H743ZI-Q device to STM32CubeIDE. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, but the IDE still doesn't recognize the device. Has anyone experienced this issue and found a solution? Any guidance would be appreciated!

There is a minor bug in writing to LEDs when this package is used on the STM32H573I-DK development board.In ..\Common\cli\logging.c there is the following code at line 77: HAL_GPIO_WritePin( LED_RED_GPIO_Port, LED_GREEN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET ); HAL_GPIO_WritePin( LED_RED_GPIO_Port, LED_RED_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET );The first line has the wrong port specified. On boards with both LEDs on the same port this wouldn't be noticed, but on the STM32H573I-DK the LEDs are on different ports.

Hello, What are the newest versions of STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeProgrammer that still work under Windows 7?  I have searched high and low but could not find a simple list of versions and host system requirements.  Thank you.

Hello,I want to try out 6LowPan on S2LP and found that in SUBG2 module I can do that on Contiki. Everything is being built on `NUCLEO-H753ZI` + `NUCLEO-S2868A2`. But after trying to generate code I found few issues in order to make it compile. Maybe it is some misconfiguration, some bugs or mixture of both. But basically issues I found with their fixes I have applied are as follows:even before `SUBG2` project was missing `NUCLEO...` defines in `stm32h7xx_nucleo_conf.h` and what is frustrating is that there is no user code place so what I have added is being removed after each code generation. Solution following lines added to `stm32h7xx_nucleo_conf.h`:#define USE_NUCLEO_144 #define USE_NUCLEO_H753ZI​COM (Serial interface) initialization is generated with single argument, while Function requires 2. Solution was add `COM_InitTypeDef` variable and pass it too in `contiki-platform.c`.

I want to explore dual core processor so i was going through stm32h757xi microcontroller which has dual core microcontroller. As currently i was working on stm32g4 microntroller for which i have made custom pcb in that for programming i have used serial wire debuggger but in stm32h757xi microcontroller how to program it like i want to interface mpu6050 in  cortex-M4 and CAN interface in cortex-M7

Here's my infinite loop in a cpp file  #include "main.h" #include "lib.hpp" void run() { auto cnt = 0u; while (1) { if(!HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_13)) cnt++; } }I run the Debugger and execute the statements until I get to the "if" statement above then when pressing F6 another time the execution stops waiting to read the value of pin 13 (the blue button on the board). But while I have also added "cnt" onto the "live expressions" its value doesn't go beyond 0 even though I press the button couple of times.My purpose is to see the value of "cnt" after pressing the button no matter how much it is. 

Hello AllI'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1 on a Windows 11 (10.0.26100) virtual machine through VirtualBox (7.1.8).I've been able to create a project for my board and generate code, however when I go to the software packs, it causes the IDE to consistently crash.I have so far attempted to no success:Reinstalled the softwareUpdating my java installationUsing a different drive (C:/ instead of a shared Z:/ drive)My .metadata/.log is as follows - repeated many times:(I have also attempted to install STM32CubeMX but have been unsuccessful, probably unrelated)Does anyone have

I am unable to download any of the STM32CUBEIDE software from https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeide.html#. Everytime I log in and press download, the download bar always stays at 0% no matter what. This does not occur with any other downloads on other websites. I use Mac, but I even tried downloading the windows one just to face the same issue.  

Hey I recently Got Into Programming An Nucleo-64, ARM Cortex M4, STM32 L476-Serie And I sucessfully created My First Code In The STM32 IDE. I get this annoying Error when Trying To Flash : I tried so many Things Already Its Driving me crazy, Help Is Appreciated ... The Things I tried : Connecting PIN7 on CN7 to + 3,3V and trying to get It run In Boot Mode (Was not Able To achieve this). When I do it I hold RESET and plug the USB in and release the button.- STM32 Utility doesn't let me Erease.-STM32 Programmer not running on my Computer I have to work with IDE / Cube Tried Jumpers on the SWD (CN4) also didn't work. It actuallys Detects the ST Link but still somehow Its struggeling to find a proper Connection. Open On-Chip Debugger 0.12.0+dev-00608-gd8ed48fef (2025-02-06-11:17) [

Hello every ones, I am tring to start a new project by exploring some new nucleo board that i see on stmicroelectronics web site. If I select the NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board i can't start the creation of the project because CUBE IDE say that: "The target device 'NUCLEO-H7S3L8' is currently not supported by STM32CubeIDE".How I can start the creation of the my program if the CUDE IDE is not able to give me the way to do that? If I buy this board , how can i start my work? How do i program it? Attached the picture showed on CUDE IDE.

I recently updated my Fedora installation to the 37 beta. Because the package `ncurses-compat-libs` which provided the ncurses5 library was removed, I am unable to install STM32CubeIDE.A fix would be to update the dependency to version 6, which is provided by Fedora 37 by `ncurses-libs`.

I have enabled Serial Wire Viewer (SWV) in my m55 application as I have done with my m4 and m33 projects, but the printf is not appearing in the SWV view.Are there additional setup required on the NUCLEO-N657 board such as jumper settings or additional software setup?Thank you.

I'm using STM32L011F4P6 in CubeIDE. I toggle digital output pin PA2 hi/low every 10ms just to see if it works and it consumes 80uA when it runs. When I set another pin PA0 as analog input, the current consumption rises to 315uA. This is OK as I understand that it needs some energy to do ADC conversion. However I only need to measure analog input once and so I want to turn ADC off. I tried HAL_ADC_Stop(&hadc); HAL_ADC_DeInit(&hadc); however it does not returns consumption to 80uA only to 280uA, so something related to ADC is still on and consuming energy. I really want to go back to 80uA when I don't need ADC anymore. Hello,Attempting to debug STM32F746G-Disco, it's been working fine for days. The debugger first started playing up when trying to pause execution during the program, it would not pause but no error message was thrown. Next it would download and launch but pressing the green play button to start the program would not run it. Finally, I've lost the ability to program the board altogether, it just sits on 95% configuring GDB.Running the program (not debugging) works fine as does programing and debugging other boards. Is it something to do with the GDB server? Do I need to reinstall IDE and (somehow) the GDB server? I want to implement Segger Systemview recording mode but I also want to make use of the STM32CubeIDE live variables view and other features within the IDE when debugging. On top of this I also want to use the Segger System live recording feature so I can see things like task history etc. within Systemview. Snapshot mode is fine and with that I can use all feature of CubeIDE and just look at Systemview in non-realtime. But as per the subject I cannot have both St Link V2 firmware upgrade to J Link. A workaround to this, is to use Segger Systemview in UART mode, but this of course means that I need extra hardware (on a customer board - the Nucleo is fine). Is there a way around this so I can use both Segger Systemview record mode AND use the full features of STM32CubeIDE? I am current developing on Nucleo board. Could this limitation be circumvented by using a real J-Link?
