STM32 MCUs

I have read about using these boards in conjunction with firmwares configured in Xcube-MC.However, is it possible to implement these field control strategies or similar in proprietary code?

Hi, I am trying to send an integer from the PC (using Putty serial program) to the Nucleo board via USART interrupt but the board doesn't acquire the number correctly. In the code written here this happens: if I send any kind of number to the board like: 100, 200, 500, 700, 900, a different number arrive to the board and I can't see any changing in the funtcion:__HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE(&htim1, TIM_CHANNEL_1, num);Seems that the value that I am passing by using a char message and then converted in uint8_t format to the function is converted in a bad number. In fact on the channel TM1_CH1 where I connect one channel of my digital scope, any kind of three digit number I enter in the serial always has the same effect. Any help? Hi,I am looking for an LCD Touch display for B-U585I-IOT02A Discovery kit but I could not find any. Is this possible to connect a local Touch LCD screen to the B-U585I-IOT02A Discovery kit? It looks like the STM32U585AI MCU does not contain any display accelerator but is it possible to connect a touch display via Arduino connectors? Thanks!Louis

I'm working on a Motor Control Project built with MCSDK(6.3.1).After initial creation of the CubeMX ioc File by the MC-Workbench, a lot of additional configuration were manually made using CubeMX (~30 additional pins and their config, additional timers, etc.).Then the Source Code was generated.But when i now need to change parameters/configuration in the MC-Workbench and re-generate the ioc File, all the previously manually added config is lost and must be redone again which is a lot of work and prone to errors which are hard to detect. Is this the intended workflow? Hi,    Could you list NUCLEO-H753ZI board's ADC1/2 ADC3 channel Index with GPI/O Pin assignment table with the connector name / pin index on the board, using channel number as the index    It is very difficult to configure CUBEMAX-ADC without this Table. Hi, I'm trying to get a bare metal implementation of SPI working on a STM32WB55 Nucleo board.The transmit appears to work but I cant get the receive function to work. I'm using a loop back by connecting MOSI & MISO with a jumper.When in debug I can see my Tx buffer getting loaded with the appropriate value but it never appears in the Rx buffer. When I step through the Tx code runs through as expected, in the Rx code though it looks like the SPI_FLAG_RXNE never gets set i.e. nothing ever arrives.Ultimately I'm trying to connect with 2 x ADXL362s over the SPI bus.I have attached a zip of the CubeIDE.Any help with debugging this or pointers to how I go about that would be most appreciated. I'm getting code blindness trying to find the problem.

The data is being output as 8-bit, but the variable used to store it is 32-bit, so I think that's causing the issue. How can I solve this

Is there any update on this issue? I have similar problem with being not able to initialize SD Card using SDMMC1 + FileX + ThreadX. Getting SDMMC_FLAG_CTIMEOUT while initialization (SD_PowerON() function). Does someone have maybe a working example of using SD Card with FileX on U545 uC?

 Hey buddies,How can I have a dynamic graph in TouchGFX that Y-axis can change dynamically like X-axis? Because when the dynamic graph receives values bigger or less than the defined "Value Range" in the properties can't show anything.Actually, I want the graph always in the middle of the Y-axis not wandering up and down.The "Chart" in STM32cubeMonitor has exactly the ability that I want.  

We are using STM32CubeIDE to configure the STM32 controller. Previously, flashing the code to the board was working fine. Recently, while trying to debug, the IDE started showing this error: "Failed to execute MI command""Error in initializing ST-LINK device" We tried upgrading the ST-LINK driver, and the controller responded to the host. In STM32 ST-LINK Utility, we could select the External Loader, which means the connection seemed okay.However, when we tried to erase the flash using ST-LINK Utility, we got:"Target not connected" We tried many solutions in STM32CubeIDE, but we could not identify the root cause. Could anyone please help us understand what might be going wrong?

Hello everyone.I configured stm32H733VGT6 to support the usb2514 hub device. To do this I used Azure RTOS and the USBX library with STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.17.0. Everything works fine, the USB2514 device is always recognized at power-on with the correct VID and PID (see the image). The problem is that when I connect a device to one of the 4 usb ports (downstream), insertion is recognized (UX_DEVICE_CONNECTION event), as well as removal (UX_DEVICE_DISCONNECTION event), but the peripheral is not recognized.The USB2514 is configured with SEL0, SEL1, NON_REM0 and NON_REM1 all with pulldown resistors (100KOhm) to GND.The strange thing is that at startup, even if there are no devices connected to the USB downstream ports, the event UX_DEVICE_CONNECTION occurs.When I connected a device, the condition:if (current_class -> ux_host_class_entry_function == ux_host_class_cdc_acm_entry)current_class returns a wrong ux_host_class_name and exit from if

I am trying to use SPI communication with the STM32H562 (for FPGA programming purposes).  The reference manual states that if SPI_CFG2's SSM = 1, the NSS can be toggled High/Low by switching the SSI bit in SPI_CR1.However, the switching of SSI is not reflected in the oscilloscope observations. Additionally, I tried setting the NSS port as GPIO instead of SPI communication and using HAL_WritePin to configure it, but this was also not reflected. When using the NSS port for SPI, should I set the start register bits such as SPE and CSTART?

Dear Team,As per the datasheet, the PF11 is used for BOOT0. However STM32CubeIDE doesn't specify the PF11 as BOOT Pin in the IOC File.  Also, The Reference Manual doesn't specify usage of the BOOT Pin (Grey marked area).

Hello everyone,I've spent a considerable amount of time trying to change the default AES and ECDSA (ECCKEY1) keys, but I can't figure out why it always results in a 'Fw header authentication error' during the firmware image update process.The project is built with STM32CubeIDE under Windows, all paths and necessary modifications needed for the scripts to work from the new project location (prebuild, postbuild, and the encryption scripts) are done and I can confirm 'se_key.s' is updated with the same data as in 'OEM_KEY_COMPANY1'. SeCoreBin compiles without any issues, the same also applies to SBSFU and the UserApp project.I followed the instructions found here:\Middlewares\ST\STM32_Secure_Engine\Utilities\KeysAndImages\readmeand looks like the prepareimage.exe works and generates the 'ECCKEY1', which also when used instead of the one that comes delivered with the package causes the firmware to be rejected immediately. Chang

Hello,recently I'm working on a project based on STM32F103 MCU and an I2S codec chip. The codec has two data port, one is DAC IN and the other one is ADC OUT. What I wanna do is using the codec to play audio or to record audio.According to my knowledge the I2S on STM32F103 only has one SD port. So how can I connect the two IO ports of codec to the SD port? thanks

Good dayI am using a NUCLEO-STMG0B1RE board and i am trying to handle a 4x3 matrix keypad inputs using interrupts to switch menus on an OLED screen. The keypad inputs worked when I used continuous polling for keypad inputs. The OLED needs to continuously update (at least once per second) with data from ADC. This also worked when I used continuous polling, but the keypad inputs was a bit sluggish and I am scared it will slow my processor down for future use.With the current code I am trying to do the following:when key pressed, corresponding column goes highinterrupt triggeredRising callback sets KeypadtriggerDetected = 1 and stores the columnKeypadtriggerDetected activates if statement in while(1) which pulls all the rows low, then sets them high one at a time.When the key pressed is identified from keymap, that key gets processed with updates the state the OLED menu should be inthat state then gets passed to

Hello, i've been having this problem with negative numbers recently in Touch Designer, i can't show them correctly in my screens, the negative sign (-) keeps going on the wrong side Ex: "-5" turns to "5-"Why this keep happening? The ble audio stack posted CAP_UNICAST_SERVER_ASE_STATE_EVT. The state of CAP_UNICAST_SERVER_ASE_STATE_EVT were ASE_STATE_CODEC_CONFIGURED、ASE_STATE_RELEASING、ASE_STATE_IDLE。As a comparison, the change rule of BLE_Audio_TMAP_Periopheral CAP-UNICAST_SRVER-ASE_STATEVT state is as follows: ASE_STATE_CODEC_CONFIGURED->ASE_STATE_QOS_CONFIGURED->ASE_STATE_ENABLING.I don't know what factors led to this difference。 Best Regard

I tried to use STM32G0B0 DMA1-1/2 for I2C1, DMA1-3/4 for USART1, DMA1-5/6 for I2C2. Channel 1 to 5 work properly. Channel 6 (I2C2-TX) works but TC INT doesn't fire. I tried switch I2C2 -TX from channel 6 to channel 7 or to DMA2- channel1 to 7, none works. Also, I found DMA1-6/7 works without INT firing only, but DMA2 not work at all. It seems STM32G0B0 equipped with STM32G030 which has 5 channels of DMA.
