I'm trying to calculate the period of DMA ADC interrupt triggered when the destination buffer is completely full. As of my understanding the period is:T_dmaDone = [(T_sample + T_conv) * sampleCount * channelCount] / F_adcIn my case each rank is set to T_sample = 41.5 cycles, the conversion is fixed to T_conv = 12.5 cycles, sample count is 100 per channel, channel (as well as ranks) count is 14, and F_adc = 12 MHz. The resulting period when DMA is done and buffer full is T_dmaDone = 6,3 ms. However, after inspecting the ADC_DMAConvCplt() and placing GPIO pin toggle directly, without additional processing done inside HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback() user callback, I measured T_dmaDone = 4,64 ms.If I try to scale the measurement via multiplying samples taken per channel by a factor of 10, also the measured period scales linearly. Where is the error in my calculation? Is the provided equation valid?

Hello,Comparator in STM32G4 is very fast. some glitch which is detected by COMP (during commutation PWM).The overcurrent detection using internal comparator triggers below the theory (40A insteand 100A for example) I'm having trouble implementing the blanking mode in COMP with 3 timers (1 for each phase) .Do you have an example or a note application to implement this mode?thanks in advance.

Hi, could someone explain me what is the difference between wake up and alert in RTC?For example the UM1749 provides information about RTC Alarm functions (section 39.2.8) and wake-up functions (section 40.2.2)When should I use the wake-up and when the alert?

Hi Team,We are using STM32F072RB MCU with discover EVM boardWe are using STM32CubeIDEWe are using SPI1 and SPI2 as slave mode configuration Query: we observed that the FIFO full and overflow is happening @Spi slave while receiving the data stream @1Mbps of 64byte frames and packets are corrupting and not receiving properly. And when we configured SPI1 in DMA mode in IDE, observed that channel2 is configured, but frames are  not received. Pl provide inputs in this regard.Team Expecting your reply asap

I'm just getting started with the STM32, only got the NUCLEO-G474RE board yesterday.I need to communicate from a PC to the STM32 over USB.  Am I correct in assuming that the CN1 USB connector is only available for ST-LINK, and I need to attach a second USB connector with breakout pins onto the Morpho connector?Is there a brief description somewhere of which USB lines go to which Morpho pins?Thanks! 

Hello,I have created a bootloader application that jumps to main application at 0x08010000.It works fine, except when I run in debug mode. In this case, the first execution runs correctly. Hello, I'm testing the STM3240G-eval with the USB host MTP. The goal is to retrieve the photo from a canon EOS 100.The camera uses PTP protocol.As the demonstration  code read .wav file, I wrote a wav file to the root of the SD card. The digital camera is recognised but when the code arrives on  USBH_MTP_GetObjectHandles(&hUSBHost, 0, PTP_OFC_WAV, 0xFFFFFFFF, &WavHandles), no file is returned. Perhaps I should replace the USH_MTP_xx function by USBH_PTP_xx ?Any idea? Pierre

The current system is configured as shown in the figure above, and the serial communication is using RS485.In the system configuration, UART3 and UART2 are used, and the message from the PC through UART3 is delivered to the device through UART2 from the MCU.After that, the device processes the message and sends a response message, which is received by the MCU through UART2, and the response message is passed back to the PC through UART3.The problem is that the MCU receives the message from the PC via UART3 normally, and sends the message to the device via UART2, but the message sent to UART2

So I have a abstracted function to read the INA226 component. The function reads the data completely fine over I2C. The problem occurs when I try to display the read data on my dev terminal (Terra Term) over the COM port for STM32. The output on the TerraTerm Terminal shows, the INA260 data with a hallucinated sentence. Something that should not be printed or should not be possible to print with the existing logic in the code.I am also calling the INA226Read() directly from main() without any other function calls before it.Example Output:  0.00500 INA226 not present INA226 b4.96600 INA226 not present INA226 b0.03000 INA226 not present INA226 b  The phrase "INA226 not present" should not print with the logic in my code.The function that is executing:  voi

What exactly is meant by "If Boot from FLASH"?

Hello, I am trying to create a simple frequency measuring device using 1 optical encoder and NUCLEO-F401RE board. I want to capture frequency (or period) of impulse, so I was thinking to use input capture mode and capture rising edge of impulses and see Counter value. I don't want to use interrupts or any other method to reset Counter. Ideally, it should be done on hardware and when I need, frequency could be retrieved and read. How I imagine this should works is liek this: Counter starts counting after start function somewhere on main, after impulse positive edge comes it saves the value and resets counter, when next impulse comes, it overwrites the value and again resets the counter. At any time I can  read  saved value and get current frequency. Is this possible to do without any interruptions in program? 

Dear all,I'm new to this forum, so apologies if I post this in the wrong category. I'm trying to find a way to implement a deadtime compensation mechanism using a STM32G4. I have a 3-level 3-phase VSI. The switching frequency is 50kHz, the deadtime is 200ns. I want to compensate for this deadtime, but during the phase currents zero crossings the polarity of the current changes every switching period, and even throughout a switching period. It is not really possible to determine the phase current polarity using my ADC at the switching frequency.Does the MCU have a compensation mechanism built in? I thought of detecting the phase current polarity with an analog circuit, feed it to one of the input pins of the MCU and based on that delay or advance the switching instances so the output gets compensated for the deadtime. Hi.I am using SDMMC1-eMMC(16GB), SDMMC2-SD Card connected on a custom board.Both eMMCs and SD-Cards use FatFS as their file system.Both work fine when used alone.However, if you use f_open or f_write on FatFS on eMMC, you sometimes get an error and the FatFS becomes unusable afterward. My settings are as follows. 

hi, i have a problem with my stm32 timer in counter mode, i connected it to a lcd screen, and put a pulse signal in pin PB0, and i wanted to count these pulses and show them on the lcd, but the pulse count is stuck at 0, can you help me with it please? i think it's the timer configuration or the interrupt problem but i'm not sure, and thanks in advance. 

I'm working on some code to wake up from Sleep or Stop mode when a low ADC value happens.I found this post which gets me almost all the way there https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/what-is-the-process-to-use-the-adc-on-stm32f745-to-wake-up-the/td-p/91522 I'm able to get an interrupt to trigger on a low ADC value while in sleep mode but the main loop does not restart. The main loop does restart when I trigger an interrupt from a digital GPIO.Here are the relevant parts of the .ico file configuration

Hello All, I am working on a raw STM32C031C6T6 directly soldered on a breakout board and trying to make a multi channel interrupt based ADC working but the problem i am facing is all the adc's are giving me the same values even after setting the separate channel for individuals and when i decided to use dma it stuck when continue dma request is enable  and when its not dma just reads a single cycle.below i have  provided you the screenshot of my configuration and clock settings i have used as well as i am attaching my code which i have made for this.any kind of help will be really appreciable.

Now, I was only using the stlink part of the card to program another stm32 microcontroller. While running it in debug mode, I cut off the power of the card and it remained in debug mode all the time, in a way that I cannot understand now, and a connection with the card cannot be established in the cube ide program or utulity, cubeprogrammer programs. I get the error that the card is kept in reset mode. When I feed the NRST pin with 3 volts, I get a short connection. I only reset that much chip, but I think the problem is only in the stlink part. Can anyone help? I hope the problem is understandable, I will add the errors as well. The LD1 pin of the card is on green, in this case, the stlink is not recognized in the Cube IDE program, when I remove it and insert it again, the code is not thrown. After the lalin LD1 turns green and red, the steady green light, which is the reset mode, turns on.The error I get when I try to connect to the utility program is as follows
