Hi,I'm using CubeIDE: V1.10.1 (CubeMX v6.6.1).To configure my project in (internal) CubeMX, I have created a "user constant":Name: USER_01Value: 7In FreeFRTOS Config parameters -> LIBRARY_MAX_SYSCALL_INTERRUPT_PRIORITY,I have entered this "USER_01" When I save the IOC and generate code, everything is still fine.

Building a custom board, which can accept either an STM32F205 or an STM32F405. Have boards with both MCU built. System running FreeRTOS 10, with three tasks total.Embedded software has shared application code between the two builds, only the stuff generated by CubeMX is different. I'm using the USB_OTG_FS and CAN1 peripherals, TIM1 as the system timebase, TIM2 as a timestamp for CAN messages, and the CRC unit. Nothing fancy.It seems that when I try and write my config file to flash (it's in a sector by itself) I get an oddball IRQ from the Timer Tick, and then a hard fault.The kicker, which is really confusing me, is if I load the code compiled for the STM32F205 onto the STM32F405, everything works as expected. I'm trying to program STM32F103C8T6 using CUBEIDE. After solving so many errors now I have this error " failed to start GDB server" tried different PORT NUMBERS and also changed debug prob from " OPEN OCD" to "GDB SERVER" but could not help.

I'm working on making a custom PCB using an STM32L5xx board field-updatable. To that end, I've configured the option bits according to pattern 12 from AN2606:TZEN = 0, nBoot0(bit) = 0, nSWBoot0(bit) = 0, NSBOOTADD1[24:0] = 0x017F200.With this setup, the microcontroller will always start and reset to bootloader mode, which I do think is a good thing for now. It should help protect against the a problem in application mode bricking the microcontroller and needing to use a debugger to fix it.I've been using the NUCLEO-144 L552ZET6Q to test/debug this method. When the uC is in bootloader mode, the red and blue user LEDs turn on, and switching back to application mode will turn them off.To switch to application mode, I've tried to use CubeProgammer CLI to start the application mode, which it does seem to do, only for it to be forced back into bootloader mode.

Hi there,I'm using a stm32f401re with stm32cubemx and keil uVision5. I'm trying to interface the mcu with the gsm module. I'm sure that the module works fine. I tested it with arduino and it worked without any issues. When I try to send any AT command to the module using the HAL USART library I'm not able to receive any answer from the module. I have tried both polling mode and it mode but no success. I'm wondering why I can't configure 72MHz clock in the Clock configuration panel in CubeIDEfor the STM32F103C8T6 (blue pill) board.From my understanding it has an 8 MHz quartz connected to pins 5,6 and choosing these pins as RCC OSC_IN/OUT doesn't seem to allow me to choose the external HSE clock and switch to PLL internally.

The HAL Timebase Generation using another Timer as SYSTICK is buggy when clocks APBxCLKDivider is switched in runtime. The Timebase is then re-initialized without respect to an (re-) configured APBxClockDivider. The condition if a APBxCLKDivier is set is only evaluated at CubeMx-Code-Generation-Time. Instead of fixing this issue during code generation time (which then does not allow switching APBxClockDivider in runtime) this should be done by those Code-Lines during runtime as the clkconfig struct is already available in the code.: /* Compute TIMx clock */ if(clkconfig.APBxCLKDivider) {    uwTimclock = 2*HAL_RCC_GetPCLKxFreq(); } else {    uwTimclock = HAL_RCC_GetPCLKxFreq(); }This would work in any case without having a conditional code-generation dependent on the APBxCLKDivider.Regards Pascal

I had a blue pill board STM32F103C8T6 programmed with the Arduino DFU bootloader and I was able to progam the device using dfu-util (under MacOS) using the Arduino IDE.I would like to switch to STM32CubeIDE to develop an application for the board. Not having an STLINK programmer in reach for this project I'm wondering whether I can use the DFU Bootloader that I have currently burnt into the device for uploading under STM32CubeIDE.Is this possible and how?

Hello!I'm trying to use the embedded bootloader on STM32F042K6T6, by UART protocol, but no luck yet. I'm using USART1 pins (PA9/PA10) and BOOT0 to a button and 3v3, so I press this button and power on my board. On STM32CubeProgrammer, I've selected my UART to USB converter (pullup on RX line) COM port and after clicking "Connect" on software, there is a response from target but it didn't go on: Am I missing anything?Thanks!

Hi!I am working on an STM32H7-based project which I am trying to migrate from the DISCOVERY evaluation hardware to custom board. A colleague of mine has created a new `.ioc` file with a newer version of CubeMX than the standalone vesion I have currently installed. Due to lack of admin rights I have to use the CubeMX plugin inside of the STM32CubeIDE until my IT department installs a new standalone version - as the `.ioc` file cannot be loaded with an older version.I can manually create a new STM32 project from that `.ioc` file and generate an STM32CubeIDE project. Then navigating to the "Project Manager" tab only shows "STM32CubeIDE" in the "Toolchain / IDE" dropdown menu which is even grayed out.However, I'd like to automate stuff. I've written a Windows batch script which executes a CubeMX script that can basically be narrowed down to the following lines:SET JAVA_EXE=C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.8.0\STM32CubeIDE\plugins\com.st.stm32

I was given a code to add USB support to the firmware. I am using Stm32CubeMX to generated the boiler plate for the USB. I enabled the USB peripheral and reconfigure the clock setting and regenerate the code. When I try building the fresh project after code generation, it is throwing multiple definition error. I need help how to set the option to regenerate the code without the multiple definition. I thought of adding the USB peripheral manually but I believe the clock configuration will prove challenging for me now. Also the project was done with an older version of CubeMX and I used the migration option offered by CubeMX to migrate the project to the current version of CubeMX Thanks

I imported a project (from Atollic) and am able to build/debug.However, clicking on the "MX" perspective icon gives a completely blank screen (image below). Sometimes it shows files from the C/C++ perspective. But I can't find CubeMX.What's going on?Thanks,Best Regards, Dave

What is the correct procedure to open an STM32 project from one of ST’s sample/example projects ? I’ve downloaded the STM32 Cube H7 example folders and I think the NUCLEO-H743ZI folder is most relevant (I’m using the H743 micro for this project at work), and from there there are a multitude of examples under various folders such as UART. I could choose, for example, the UART_TwoBoards_ComIT folder in which we see the following structure: From this point what is the correct procedure that takes this example project into STM32CubeIDE (I’m running version 1.10.1), please ? The EWARM folder does include project files none of which load
