STM32 MCUs Software development tools

I've installed STM32CubeIDE inside a docker ubuntu image.If I start my docker-image and mount the folder with my source code (base directory is called 'primary' and hostmachine is a MacBook), and run this command:/opt/st/stm32cubeide_1.10.1/stm32cubeide --launcher.suppressErrors -nosplash -application org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild -data workspace -importAll primary -cleanBuild PrimarySTM32/DebugThe Project builds, compiles and links perfectly.If I however, instead let Jenkins start the docker image, checkout the code from github and invoke the build commandline from within Jenkins, the linker stage fails with a lot of linker errors in the form of 2021.10.linux64_1.0.0.202111181127/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/10.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: cannot find -lLogging'Logging' is one of the directories in my project. Hello community, I'm usingSoftware:-STM32CubeIDE v1.10.1--STM32Cube FW_F4 V1.27.1Hardware:-STM32F4Discovery-PHY DP83848-RJ45I want to implement the Ethernet peripheral in the STM32F407 mcu with RMI mode without RTOS (via polling mode), and I used stm32Cubeide to create the Ethernet project; I just want to ping the board and go from there, but I can't get it to work. I noticed that after many resets of the mcu, the communication can work and I am able to ping. I think that there is a memory issue with the initialization of the LWIP stack. Can anyone give me some solutions to this problem?

Hello,I'm evaluating different solutions for USB Power Delivery and I wanted to try out STUSB010 software library. I downloaded the library from the official ST website (STSW-STUSB010 v1.3.0) and I opened a project on STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0 on a Linux machine.The project does not build by default (as is, directly from the zip without any modifications), it seems like it is not trying to link the USB PD library. I'm not very familiar with the IDE and for the life of me I can't figure out how to fix the generated compiler command. I can't post the compiler output here, the form complains about the post being too long. I need to write code using STM32CubeIDE for the STM32F407ZG on the STM32-E407 dev board from Olimex. The dev board is connected to the PC running windows 10 via the Olimex ARM-USB-OCD-H Jtag debugger.  I installed the drivers (WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)) for the ARM-USB-OCD-H using Zadig, then run openocd (openocd-0.9.0-rc1). To test it, I created and built a simple program using STM32CubeIDE. In another terminal, I run arm-none-eabi-gdb.exe. I can connect to the openocd and program the board.

Hi there,I am generating 250khz PWM signal using STM32f401ccu6 (Blackpill) to drive high side and low side mosfets. I am using Timer 1 channel 1 along with its complementary PWM feature to utilize dead time feature. Currently I have generated the PWM signals at 250khz, but the CHN PWM is not opposite to the CH PWM. Both are starting from HIGH and transitioning to LOW. That means both are interfering by getting HIGH or LOW at same time. I tried to change the CHN polarity to HIGH to LOW in pinout configuration, but it is only inverting the duty cycle. The CHN PWM transition is not happening from LOW to HIGH. Also I tried by changing both CH and CHN polarity, idle state. Please let me know how to approach this. I have attached the images. This is the output with CHN polarity as HIGH.

I was initially getting away with developing on a network drive.However it has all started to come apart.If I attempt to create a new project while the %HOME%\STM32Cube\Repository is on a network drive I get things like "Unable to unzip firmware..."When I put the workspace on a network drive an create a new project, the project is incomplete. Sometimes it's very incomplete and won't compile. In others it compiles and deploys but is missing entire .o files! from the build and functionality is completely missing.... no errors!When I build on the network drive I get incomplete, but non-erroring builds.In short the network drives appear to be entirely asynchronous and there are no file locks and nothing is waiting or checking that files exist, don't exist "yet" or have slightly different timestamps than expected.This is not limited to STM32CubeIDE, but I'm also seeing corruption like behviour with Pycharm and VSC.

I am starting with the STM32L011 MCU (NUCLEO-L011K4 kit) and I want to use it for a very low-power application.I need an operating frequency of 65536Hz to generate a pattern on a GPI/O continuously.So I configured the STM32 in LowPower Run mode with MSI clock and RAM operation (Flash memory in power-down). The consumption measured at 3.3V is consistent with that given by the tool available in the STM32CubeIDE (with the ioc file) i.e. approximately 11µA.Nevertheless, I observe a cyclic variation of the consumption of approximately 0.4µA which I cannot explain.The measured current decreases slowly for about 2 minutes 10 seconds then rises instantly by 0.4µA and resumes its decrease etc...Does anyone have an explanation for this phenomenon?NB1: I replaced the actions on the GPI/O with "nop" instructions, without any more results.NB2: The project is created as a new "empty" STM32Cube project, so no functions for the HAL.

I whish to make a main application for use with a custom bootloader.The main application should be compiled to a hex file with all empty space above the app, filled with 0xFF and with some of the last bytes containing a checksum of the app image.I found how to generate a hex here: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000002fOMySAM/how-does-one-generate-a-hex-file-from-stm32cubeideBut I haven't found how fill remaining space and make the checksum.In MPLAB it is done like shown here:

If I create a STM32 static-lib project there are no linker settings available.Why?Please refer the attached image.

After Pasting one Project, and allowing Uptading Reference Button, I tried to open the *ioc file which issued "error". Then, I had to rename to the newest Project name, then I was abble to open the *.ioc file. So, I might ask: Is it the correct "project copy" task? Doesn't the CUBE aren't able to fix all the newest references, based on the newest copied file name? Regards.

Hi , After pin selection and configuration when I try to generate code for keil it does not allow me to change the IDE in project setting, how can I do that?

I added a c source file to an existing folder in my project and it shows in the project explorer.When I build the project or build the individual file it appears to compile (in the console). But references to functions in the file come back as undefined. Also if I introduce deliberate errors in the source file; it compiles without errors.What could be going on?

Im trying to flash/debug a STM32H747XIH6 over J-link within STM32CubeIDE. One of the two cores, the CM7, flashes fine and i can enter the debugger. However when i try to flash the other core, the CM4, i get a popup with "Could Not Verify ST Device", and the console shows as in the attached image.Any help is greatly appreciated!
