I've noticed that if the option byte for the CM7 boot address is set to 0x1FF0 (boot into bootloader), the Cube Programmer cannot erase the flash memory. If I change that option byte to 0x0800, the flash memory erases.I can erase and program the flash memory fine using ST-LINK independent of the CM7 boot address setting. But I want to be able to erase flash memory via DFU with the bootloader with the boot address set to 0x1FF0 for the CM7 core.Is there something that limits the bootloader in DFU mode from erasing flash memory if the CM7 boot address is set to 0x1FF0?I've verified that no write protection is set and the memory is not protected.

Hello,I have the following problem with STM32F429ZI: When applying RDP level 1 protection, the board gets stuck if I press the reset button. More precisely, I can see from STM32CubeProgrammer that SPRMOD and BFB2 bits have risen and that the value of RDP becomes FF (not “55�? as I would expect for RDP level 1). Hi Community, In my project I have successfully added the image buffer in external flash memory and able to read/write to the same. But now I am facing the problem when I added the .obj or .bin videos file in the external flash memory with the help of linker script and STM32CubeProgrammer, but that amount of .obj or .bin file is not appearing in the external memory.Can You guide me how to add the .obj or .bin video files in External Flash Memory? Is this possible by project code itself or need the edit in the linker script. if yes then pls give me some examples or demo?/Mit

Hello guys,First of all I want to say that I don't like and don't use HAL library. Use LL_Library instead as long as possible.Now what brings me here is that currently I am manually porting FreeRTOS to an STM32469NI MCU. This force me to use a different time base other than the Systick. I have realized that when using another timebase source ( example TIM1), STM32Cube MX autogenerated code always includes and initialize the HAL library in mainMy question: is there a workaround to get rid of the HAL library in this case and work exclusively with LL?Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Just installed the new version 2.11.0. Never used any version of CubeProgrammer before. I am using it on Windows 10 with Java 18.0.1.1.2022-04-22. When I start it, just the start-dialog appears and disappears after some seconds. In varioius posts I have seen that this happens since years. Hints to re-install Java or use another version didn't seem to work. As the programmer is distributed with an jre, I tried to set path to its bin-directory and JAVA_HOME to the jre path, but this didn't change anything and calling java.exe from the programmer-directory just leads to a java-error message. Any hint how to get it running?

HiJust updated in my PC STMCubeMx and STMCubeIDE for last version, and at this moment the functionality "Ctrl + Click" on a pin to see possible alternate pins is no longer working.This started to happen after updating CubeMX to v6.1.1 (previous version I think was 6.0) and it was working. In CubeIDE after last update also stopped working, well it is using the same version v6.1.1 of CubeMx...Also tested in my Work PC, and same issue after updating from v6.0 to v6.1.1 the alternate pins no longer show.Is this a Bug? Or could it be some other thing...Thank You

I'm using the BSP audio functions in my application. All of this is unmodified and straight from github. My current problem is the linker being unable to find several of the HAL_DFSDM functions called from STM32F769i_discovery_audio.c. The really puzzling part is I've got a section of code.... if(HAL_OK != HAL_DFSDM_ChannelInit(&hAudioInTopLeftChannel)) {  return AUDIO_ERROR; }which the linker reports undefined reference. But... just twenty lines further on in the same function (static uint8_t DFSDMx_Init(uint32_t AudioFreq) this code....  if(HAL_OK != HAL_DFSDM_ChannelInit(&hAudioInTopRightChannel)) {  return AUDIO_ERROR; }doesn't report an error.What's going on? How can the linker report an undefined reference but not then report a problem when the same call occurs later in the very same function?My main.c is a c++ function but stm32f

Hello, I am trying to design a high voltage capacitor charging power supply (max 4kV) with full bridge technology driven by STM32F334 (72MHz). The two-output PWM channel is used as a push-pull at 100 kHz and the PWM is adjusted approximately every 60 µs to limit the transformer primary current. The load time is around 100ms and the code works fine. But sometimes the controller turns off the PWM outputs during charging for no apparent reason (the target charging voltage is not reached). Some times the next load works (main code still works). Some time the µc launches a load but the PWM outputs do not drive the Mosfet drivers and other times it doesn't. In this last condition even a hard reset does not work and only an ON/OFF of the power supply or a reprogramming of the chip is necessary to continue... I don't know how to visualize the problem with the debug of CubeIDE because ideally I would have to break the code when the outputs are disabled. Does anyone have

I am getting CUBEPROGRAMMER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED (-5) when I try to connect to a device using connectDfuBootloader from STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.7.0. I am logging all the messages I am seeing and I have attached the log to this question. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or not doing. The C++ example seems to work fine. Hey, I've a project based on Nucleo-32 STM32F042K6 board. I'm moving this project to my team's common repo which already has the stm32cube drivers in another folder. How can I update my project to use the drivers already existing on the repo instead of the ones that were copied into the project?As in screenshot, when i created this project, stm32cube copied over the drivers folder with STM32F0 drivers. I want to use the same but from a folder outside this project.I tried updating include paths within C/C++ Build>Settings but I get compiler errors that those .h files can't be found.Thanks,Vandita

hello, i'm using stm32h745 mcu. i want to using SAI interface to use MEMS MIC, ADAU7002 .this sensor transmit 20bit PCM , 22050 hz data.i used CUBEMX and SAI & DMA setting is here.

I regenerated files with latest CubeMX and the generated code fails to compile. Regeneration was done to incorporate a few settings changes and the latest pack for this processor; previously code generated was OK. I have succeed download the file from your website containing the installation fileI used a JRE to lunch the .exe file because the Application file don't run as explain in the Readme. I don't get any error message during the installation of the app. It was place in a file in the Application directory.The problems starts now.
