How to reproduce:Create new project in CubeMX 6.2 (in CubeIDE 1.7) with STM32L010F4P6 MCU.Select TIM2 or TIM21 properties, set clock source as ETR2.Set generation of RCC and TIM code with LL library (in Project Manager tab).In function SystemClock_Config(void) exists "while(LL_RCC_LSE_IsReady() != 1)" pattern, but LSE not used.L051K8T6 is OK.

LSE osilator source wrong seems. I set 32.768kHz but that it seems 0.032768kHz

The latest versions of the STM32CubeL4 drivers (1.17.1) and CubeMX (6.5.0) introduce two bugs related to the OSPI and Delay Block Bypass.In stm32l4xx_hal_ospi.c line 383, the MODIFY_REG macro no long clears the DLYBYP bit. It also fails to set it according to the CubeMX configuration. I don't understand why these were removed.The CubeMX setting is using inverse logic. The setting is labeled Delay Block Bypass. Thus, Enable should indicate the bypass is enabled (HAL_OSPI_DELAY_BLOCK_BYPASSED), whereas Disable should mean disabling the bypass (HAL_OSPI_DELAY_BLOCK_USED). However, CubeMX reverses these values.

Hi there,I am using STM32CubeIDE for STM Nucleo F767ZI. I am running a FreeRTOS application on the Nucleo and I am seeing that my high-priority task is blocked because of an unavailable resource and I have its address as well. But I am not getting able to find what that resource actually is. Can anyone help me if you have any idea on this, please?​BTW, I have checked the addresses of all the semaphores even those which are irrelevant to this task, but none of those match the address shown in below picture.Attached is the screenshot of the FreeRTOS task list that shows the tasks and the resource its waiting on. We teach using the STM32L476G Discovery kit Board. We have been using STMCubeMX 5.6.0 and Libraries 15.1. We want to migrate to current versions (6.5.0 and 17.2) but all of out programs that use the stm32l476g_discovery_glass_lcd.c library fail. We can use the new version of STMCubeMX fine if we do not migrate the project. We have also tried writing the same simple program from scratch using the old tools and the new ones. The old tools work fine, the new ones fail.Any known bugs? Any idea where to look next?

Hi all,i like to build my own costum library that i can reuse in multiple projects. But this library should use the HAL peripheral library like SPI or uart or stuff like that. So how to initialize the peripheral, should it be done in the lilbrary or must it be done in the application which uses the lib. An reference whould be nice.Greetings

I've done a simple board with a STM32G431, the idea is to be a remote control that drives an infrared led. It has 8 buttons and the MCU should sleep until a button is pressed, then transmit the code and sleep again.Right now I'm just trying to make the led blink. I've set a default project with Cube IDE and I set up the main loop to toggle the led.It works fine when I'm debugging, but when I disconnect the cable and power it externally the led just stays on. HelloFor a project that I am working on I need a simple scheduler, a full RTOS is more complex than I need. My first idea was to build one myself but I noticed that when using STM32Cube to generate code to for example run bluetooth a scheduler is included. I can however not find any documentation regardning this scheduler.Does anyone have any information detailing how this scheduler works?Is this scheduler built for demonstration purposes only or have anyone built a project around it?Greatful for any help

The first time I generate code, it works.But by the second time I clicked the GENERATE CODE, the progress bar is not moving anymore after 'generating user source code'.I have tried to remove the file '.mxproject' , but it didn't work. The Application STM32CubeMX's version is 6.5.0 in macOS Monterey 12.4 ;My Java SE version is 18.0.1.1;They are the newest I could find in the Internet.Please give me some advise to solve the problem.

I have used output compare to send data at two pins simultaneously. the data is variable. however, I need only 8 clk pulses and on each rising and falling pulse edge data transfer to the output pin.I am unable to stop pulses and data at only 8 edges or pulses. it remains continuous however if I used interrupt to count the counter and stop the output compare. still, pulses generated are more than 8 pulses.i just need 8 pulses of both clk and output.

 This lets me see most registers. Why are the GPIO registers not included?How do I examine their settings? Normally I would print them out, but I am trying to debug the serial port so I cannot print them out to a terminal. Thanks,

I'm using the STM32H757i Eval board. In STMCube repository for H7 v1.10.0, there is not a project folder for the STM32H757i eval board. I'd like to use the BSP LED/Touch drivers from the STM32H747i-EVAL project found in the cubeMX repository and potentially any others in the future. From what I could understand from UM2525, the eval boards are the same except for the actual micro-controllers.Can I start a project with the STM32H757 project and link to the folder with the STM32H747 eval files? Or, can I start a project in CubeMX for the STM32H747 and upload it to the STM32H757 allowing me to use any driver code written for the STM32H747i eval board.

I have STM32CubeIDE 1.9.0 and I am editing the .ioc. In the Pinout & Configuration Tab I right click and select List Pinout Compatible MCUsIt starts runningand running and running. Last night I let it run all night and it said it was 8% and there was a red message Running Low Memory. I rebooted the computer and reran it. After 4 hours it is at 50% and I got the Running Low Memory and it appears to have stopped. See attached screen shot. Error1.pngMy computer has 32 GB RAM and nothing else was running. The Task manager says 1,559.6 MB of memory is being used. I put the process priority from normal to above normal, and that did not make a difference. It says I am using a total of 7.2 of 31.8 GB (23%) of memory. I want to change the processor in my code from a STM32G031K6T to a STM32G051K8T and I was careful to use only three timers that were in both chips. Everything else was compatible. UM1718 Chapter 15

I just updated CubeIDE to the newest (1.9 ?) version.Because under Pinout & Configuration, Pinout menu -> List pin compatible MCUs (or similar),it was stuck at 31% with a CubeIDE version from some months ago with then no CPU load anymore on CubeIDE while it was 99% before I call it "stuck".The output one could already see, with the old verison, seemed reasonable, though.Now with the newest version, I am at 50% progress bar for half an hour or so, still high CPU load (but oscillating around 50%, not 99), it shows already around 80'000 devices and most of them with clearly a useless package.Yes, I did search for "Packages: all" - because I want to get not only exactly the same package, but also different formats with the same number & functions of pins, or perhaps even some with more pins.But this "at 50% and seemingly not getting forward" view shows a lot of 20-pin MCUs for my project with a 48-pin MCU where every single usa

Hello together, I'm working with the CubeMX for the first time and unfortunately I haven't found a reason why in the category "Project Manager" the dropdown menu "Toolchain/IDE" some choices are grayed out and can't be selected. I would like to use the option "Other Toolchains (GPDSC)" (see attached picture)I noticed that the option is not always grayed out and depends on which Evalboard I selected at the beginning.E.g. the option is available for the Nucleo64 boards. But with the H7 DISCO boards the option is gray again.  Does anyone know what it depends on when the option is available?I would be glad about an answer. Thank you.
