STM32 MCUs Software development tools

Hi,I'm trying to download a binary file into an external flash using the STM32CubeProgrammer with an .stldr file.I can Read, Erase, but the download doesn't work.The tool start by programming the first 0xFF addresses and stops.the error is Error: failed to download Segment[0].Can anyone help please ?

stm32 cubeide 1.9.0 version gcc 10 compiler give me error in structures files but in 1.7.0 version of software gcc 9 all ok with structure.maximum error cover with the help of extern before variables and function but only problem in structure definition and declaration in global use is the problem example --error ----conflicting types for 'XCP_Slave_DAQ_List_Processor_Info' this stureture cause error please help me how to reslove the error in gcc10

1.sturcture declaration we have facing some errors in the GCC 10 in terms of the variables and function we use "extern: solve the error 2.But in terms of structure how we resolve the errors please look the issue and give me some solutions .

I found a quote that this problem had been fixed in an earlier version, but the problem is reoccurring. I have the STM32F407VGTx processor and I have issues with the LwIP Ping when I'm using firmware 1.27.0. I was told by some one that firmware 1.27.0 for STM32F407VGTx processor contains a lot of bugs and he recommended me 1.26.2 firmware instead.But when I create a new project fo my processor, then I cannot select firmware 1.26.2. Instead it chooses 1.27.0 for me and download it. It seems that the processor STM32F407VGTx only can be used with 1.27.0 and not 1.26.2?Question:Can some one upload a STM32CubeIDE project for STM32F407VGTx with firmware 1.26.0 here so I can download it? I need to make sure that ping is working.

I try to specify relative paths without a lot of ../../.. spaghetti, but every time I shoot into the correct directory, I get an error like a /Debug/ was added to my path?I moved all my code files, now I want to make include paths right, but it's either using workspace folder, or... IDK. It accepts absolute paths, but I don't accept absolute paths.My whole point is to make the simplest possible folder structure for both STM32CubeIDE and other tools.I don't get it. My project root (a directory where the .project file is located) is ROOT. I'd think when I have to include directory ROOT/DIR all I have to do is to specify "DIR" as include path. Or "./DIR". But nothing works. STM32CubeIDE insists on adding /Debug/ to my paths. I tried adding "../" 1, 2, 3, 4 times. If I add too many "../" then it resolves the directory correctly as incorrect - so the path ending is correct, as specified, just the root is wrong. However, when my "root" is just "."

I am trying to use I2C DMA on 2 STM32H7B3I-DKs. Hi,I'm trying to migrate an old firmware from a STM32F303 to a STM32G474.The MCU is related to an external Flash W25Q16JV.The old configuration uses the SPI bus to communicate with the external flash.So I changed the program in order to adapt the new MCU.I know by the datasheet that the W25Q16JV can run on QSPI but this configuration is for later. After I changed the program I can generate the .stldr file and copy it in the external loader folder of the STM32CubeProgrammer. The STM32CubeProgrammer start but keep showing message about Flash protection. On the scope no signal at all. It seems that the program can't start due to incorrect boot vector and SP pointer.In the project there is no Startup.s file and no main. Q1: how the project is suppose to deal with that and where to declare missing starting point.Q2: Is there any example that shows the correct configuration.Thanks for your he

In Visual Studio there is. I found there is the "Implement method" option in the IDE context menu, but it does nothing.My project is properly configured, IDE knows where's the header and the source file. I can switch between them quickly. It's pretty annoying I have to type entire implementation by hand (or copy and paste it from the header) instead of some automatic function. It would be the best if all methods from the header would be automatically implemented as empty methods. Is it possible in STM32CubeIDE, or maybe I need a plugin for that?

We are developing "STM32F769-Discovery Kit" using STM32Cube IDE.The toolchain is "GNU Tools for STM32".Functions such as printf call malloc_r and use the heap area._Puts_r ()  __sinit ()  __sfp ()  __sfmorgelue  _malloc_rIn our development project, we want to proceed with development without using the heap area.Is there a way to use the standard library without using the heap area?

The program is uploaded to the board but still unable to view the printf function data on SWO. I have soldered the SB9 to view data on SWV/ SWO pin but still unable to see the printf data on ITM SWV data console.The rest jumper status are:SB4, SB6, SB8, & SB14 : ONSB3, SB5, SB7, & SB15 : OFFProject build status is 0 error, 0 warning.Please resolve this issue immediately, it is my humble request to you.The STM32-MCUs are tremendous.Thank you!

I see Nicla Vision board having lot of potential but the board in and of itself cannot do enough.In order to open its potential, it should be able to talk to existing STM32(STM32F407 for e.g.) based boards through either SPI or UART interface.Do we have some tutorial on how to talk between 2 boards?Nicla Vision is Arduino based. When I compile, I get the following error: The float formatting support (-u_printf_float)is not enabled from linker flagsI can't find Linker flags/Options/Settings for C - just for MCU G++ Linker. When I chose the option, it still didn't remove the error. It compiles, though and can be run.

I have been working with STM32H753 device. I was able to boot into the system booltoader of the Nucleo board. Cube Programmer was able to detect and connect through UART.But, I am unable to connect the Cube programmer in our custom board. Both BOOT_ADD0 and BOOT_ADD1 were set to 0x1FF0. After booting, I connected J-Link to verify that the PC is at 0x1FFx series addresses.Looking further, whenver I halt and run the CPU through J-Link, the PC seems to be at address 0x1FF0AAF0 and the CycleCnt is increasing.I am not sure what could be possibly wrong.

Hi, I'm trying to communicate with an sd card with cubeide and nucleo f767ZI board and I've been able to read and write data successfully with sdmmc sd 1 bit mode. However, in my project I also need to use uart communication and whenever I activate any of the uarts available. I can no longer write to any file on the sd card and only the read remains available.Does anyone have an idea or insights how to fix that ? ** Question moved by moderation @YDrid.1​

There are many guides available online that explain how to set up DMA with ADC. I followed such a guide in version 1.7 and it worked out of the box. Now I'm trying the same thing in version 1.9 and it won't work.The first thing I noticed that the ADC Clock Prescaler setting seems to be no longer a thing.The last time I set it up, I just chose continuous conversion with a prescaler and everything worked. I try to drive ST7735 oled display with nucleo board. I worked with a ready-made example I found on the internet, but I could not print anything to the screen. When I compile my code, I don't get any errors and my screen is getting power. Is there a point I missed in the spi settings?some friends suggested adding spi dma tx, i tried but the result did not change. Do I need to enter an extra parameter in the dma settings?
