STM32 MCUs Software development tools

Hello everybody,I am actually a PC software developer, but would like to be able to update the firmware of the hardware we have developed with our own software.For this purpose I have downloaded the "en.stm32cubeprog_v2-5-0.zip" and installed the Windows version on a Windows 10 (64 Bit) PC.I tried the example "1 example with UART bootloader" from the STM-API.This also works very well under Windows 10/64-bit.(A Windows 10 with 32 bit is unfortunately not available to me for testing)But when testing it with Windows 7 (32 / 64 Bit, both the same effect) I get an error when calling the API-function"connectDfuBootloader".Code:   if ((usbConnectFlag = connectDfuBootloader(dfuList[0].usbIndex)) == 0)   ...The value in "usbConnectFlag" is then equal to "-5", which according to the API description "STM32CubeProgrammer_API.chm" means something like:

Hello Support Team,Currently, I am working on the STM32H745-Disc board.In that, I have used the SPI2 module and I have also configured the baud rate as a 3Mbit/s using the STM32CubeMX configuration tool and generated code for the same. (SPI Init done Inside the main() function)Now, I need to change the SPI2 module baud rate to 12Mbit/s from 3Mbit/s baud rate at run time.Please suggest any API or an appropriate way for the above scenario.Thanks In Advance.

I'm trying to setup a FreeRTOS config on a STM32F413 Nucleo board (IDE: STM32CubeIDE). For debugging purpose, I want to use SystemView. After trying a couple of tutorial online, I cant seem to make it work. I tried the patch tutorial also and no result. Also, I notice that when trying to install the program, the _write and _read function that are overwriten in SEGGER_RTT_Syscall_GCC.c seem to be disabling the printf function.Would you either have a solution/guide for the SystemView installation or, would anyone have an alternative to debug RTOS system ?

 As far as I know, this MCU has only 4 levels (2bits). In CubeIde I can set only values 0,1,2,3. And the second question: if I set all levels to 0, in what priority interrupts will be served (according to table index?).

When trying to use or FlashLoaderV1.2.stldr CubeProgrammer keeps asking for FlashLoaderV1.stldr. No matter what comes after that first dot it does not process anything between the first and the last dot in the filename.Had to roll back to CubeProgrammer 2.5, where it works just fine, Filenames can have as many dots as they want.Just tested on new release 2.11 and the problem persists. Could this be fixed to work again in future releases as it did in 2.5?

How do I get a callback function for the HAL_TIM_OnePulse_Start_IT function?I have a STM32G071 Nucleo board.I whish to start a one-shot timer that calls an interrupt callback function when the time has elapsed. I am currently developing software for STM32H7 processors. For this I use the current development environment from Keil (uvision 37.0.0) and Cubemx 6.4.0. I created an "empty" project for the Nucleo Board STM32H743ZI with Cubemx. In it I only activated one property: SystemCore/COREX_M7/CPU DCache : Enabled When I compile and upload the generated code I have a strange phenomenon: The program doesn't stop at __Main in the startup-code and also not at HAL_Init() in main.c, but it stops in core_cm7.h in the line: if (SCB->CCR & SCB_CCR_DC_Msk) return; But I didn't set a breakpoint there! My question is about this unwanted "stopping effect" during start phase. The example above is the easiest to reproduce and demonstrate the problem. In fact, I'm working on another project, but that's where this effect degenerates. Sometimes I have to press the F5 key 4 times before the program finally gets to main. I need to use FreeRTOS 10.4.6 in order to use SystemView. Therefore, I downloaded the new FreeRTOS version and replaced the relevant files in the repository file. However, the "Tool Code Generation" generates a FreeRTOSConfig.h with the old version. I replaced the FreeRTOSConfig.h manually with a file from the demo project. Applying the "Tool Code Generation" replaces the Config file with the old FreeRTOS version. How can I make sure a proper config file exists for my project? "Tool Code Generation" might be applied several times.

Hello everyone, I want to ask how to open a project in stm32cube IDE.To be specific, I was given a project organized as the picture below. The name of the big folder is Project_Comm.While the main code is in Core folder, the linker file and the project file of STM32CubeIDE is in STM32CubeIDE folder. In this case, how can I open the project with the main code and the Linker file in the Project Explorer?What I did so far were:I tried to open the project by the .project and .cproject file from the folder STM32CubeIDE. It only opened the main code in Core folder (the linker file was not there) and I could not build the project.I imported the project

I've stm32H750B-DK discovery board and when debugging I get this error at first debugging attempt , I then press the reset button several times before the download is successful. (pressing the reset button is not guaranteed to solve the problem, I still get the error in this case). Is this a sign of a bigger problem HW or SW?

Hi,not sure if this is an question regarding ST or Segger, but i will start here:Problem:New Project (my example uses the Nucleo-H723ZG board) with SEGGER_I-CUBE-embOS software package included (like from the wiki.segger.com under Using_I-CUBE-embOS_with_STM32CubeMX )This works fine, but if I enable the Flag "Generate peripherial initalization as pair of '.c/.h' files" in the "Project_Manager/Code_Generator/Generated_Files", the generated code does not include anymore the "OS_Task_Create"-Functions, OS_Stacks and more...Is this a unkown feature? I'm developing with custom board which has a custom QSPI (EN25QX128A - 16Mbytes flash), so I need to make an external loader used by STM32CubeProgrammer.First I wrote a code that interacts with QSPI and it works fine.So I changed this code to fullfill the external loader specification.Init() as an entry pointLinker configuration No diagnostics on unused functionsBut when I connect the target board by clicking "Connect" in STM32CubeProgrammer, I checked that "Init()" is called but SystemClock_Cofnig() fails.I tried to change clock-setting in various ways, but still get stuck in Error_Handler.What am I missing working with External loader?Please help me to get out of this trap.Thanks.

I just purchased the new ST-Link V3 MINIE, and it doesn't seem to be recognized by STM32CubeIDE. I'm using version 1.4, which is unfortunately the version we all have to use for this project. What version of the IDE is required for use with the MINIE?

Are there any limitations to how AXI RAM can be partitioned by the linker script? I'm using Nucleo F767ZI. I'm running the default program composed by CubeMX (all is up to date).No errors in the MCU side (USB init etc.)I also define 3 UARTS (3, 4 and 7), I2C1, SPI3, DAC, ADC3. No conflicts.Heap 0x1000.
