STM32 MCUs Software development tools

i´m new here, and i´m starting to work with STM32F103C8 (blupill)I´ve created a very simple code. It´s shown in image down.The problem is:The editor doen´t recognize the variable type int8_t and int32_t (probably int16_t too).And when a try to build the code, the editor show me a message: adc0 undeclared.I don´t know how to resolve this. I´ve tried to declare stdio, nothing changes.Does anyone could ,pelase, help me??Thanksss

Hello,We are having an issue with the STM32H753IIT6, which contains several RAM sections... namely ITCMRAM (0x00000000), DTCMRAM (0x20000000), RAM_D1 (0x24000000), RAM_D2 (0x30000000), RAM_D3 (0x38000000).The problem that is occurring: When loading variables specifically into RAM_D2 and RAM_D3 (0x30000000), the generated Hex file is including this section as a loadable section, which in turn causes issues in STM32CubeProgrammer when it tries to load that section. I am not able to configure USB_Device mode (USB_Device not enabling permanently disabled how to enable USB_Device in middleware). I want to select CDC in USB_Device.please give me solution for the same ASAP.

I have installed the stm32cube IDE 1.10.1 on ubuntu 20.04 using the appropriate installer package. Upon full installation when I tried to update the IDE using "check for updates" option in help, I am consistently getting the following update error message:(attachment 1/2)Other default repository URLs for CDT and core eclipse etc are working fine. I've been trying to implement over the air updating on a board with the mentioned MCU. According to the reference manual of the G4 MCU series, dual bank operation should be supported, but the Flash memory characteristics of the G431xB series only mentions one bank. Furthermore "FLASH_OPTR_DBANK" is not defined in HAL, which suggests that it isn't an option. Does this mean that this specific G4 series doesn't support this operating mode?

I was given an example that was created with version 6.6.1. I upgraded to from 6.6.0 to 6.6.1 and the system still thinks I am using 6.6.0. How do I fix this?

When I enable the DAC in my STM32CubeIDE project in the MX Device Configuration Tool, it does not put the DAC support files in the STM32F4xx_HAL_Driver folder. I end up having to add them into my project manually. Is this normal, or is there a way to configure the tool to add in the required C and H files required by the components I enable with the tool? I am using the STM32F469i-Discovery board.

The chip I am using is the stm32H743IIT series. I want to detect the frequency of a signal through GPIOD1, but the external trigger cannot be performed normally. Hello,I am facing a problem for the first time with one device while doing something that has worked perfectly on several (dozens) before of the same model (STM32H755IIT6).I am updating the firmware of the device with a custom update tool that has closely the same protocol as flashing with the stm32CubeProgrammer, namely at the writing request "0x31".The problem is that, at this device, a part of the data is not being written, though I get a positive response from the request, when I am flashing the m4, falling after the address 0x08010040 and for several (not always constant) blocks.Using a saleae, I can see that both using the update tool or the stm32CubeProgrammer, they perform very much the exact same way (only time differences of ms), for the same file even the same information. E.g.:Request: 0x31 0xCEResponse: 0x79Request (Address and checksum) e.g.:0x08 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x08Response: 0x79

Using STM32CubeIDE to program Nucleo-F401RE - completed Hello World - LED blinked.Now want to start a new project, but STM32CubeIDE continues to show Hello World Code.How do start a new project without prior code?

HiI am curious to know about the differences in arm-none-eabi-*** provided by ARM and the same arm-none-eabi-*** that comes with STM32CubeIDE.What/where are the differences? In particular, I am curious about the libc.a and the libc_nano.aI performed a CRC check on those files and compared the ones from the STM32CubeIDE installation and the ones directly from ARM. I concluded that they are different. What and how are they different?Is there any documentation and resource where I can read up on it?Thank you,

USB_OTG_FS: In one of two projects unselecting "Activate_SOF" in the .ioc environment doesn't disable its entry in the code! Error of the IDE or is there something else keeping the SOF enabled? As said, in another project it works a as expected. 

We need to update CubeMx from 6.3.0 to the latest version. When updated before, we were told to completly remove CubeMx and start again. This caused all sorts of issues.There must be an easy way to update these days. We can't see any options on the CubeMx menu for updating CubeMx..

Running in vb.net I can successfully load code to a target using a .bat file using:System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("c:\rp:\boot.bat")In the above case a command window is shown during the load with session information. ... I'm currently trying this on an STM32H7 nucleo board.Is it at all possible to use cubemx generated LWIP ? ... I don't think so!It must be said that there is a "no-go" point: It is completely unacceptable to choose a compiler version <= 5 in Keils latest uvision (37.0.0). There is no developer who could endure the compile times on larger projects (beyond 30 minutes). In this case the Keil support recommends switching to V6. And ok, if I switch to compiler version >= V6 in uvision, then I can compile very quickly. But, if I then want to use freertos, it no longer works. Freertos generated by Cubemx only works with V5 in uvision. But without freertos I can't activate the LWIP library, which I absolutely need for a web server. This means I will be forced to use V5, which is totally unacceptable. The freertos / compiler V5 problem has existed for years now, I`m patiently waiting for a fix. Is nobody interested in fixing it? Hello,I want to learn how to write my own octospi external memory loader in STM32CubeIDE. I found example on https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loader/tree/main/STM32H7x_boards/MX25LM51245G_STM32H735G-DK but project is built with EWARM or MDK-ARM IDE.I generated new project and configured octospi interface in CubeIDE. Then I added files from this repository to communicate with the memory. I am connecting to my bluecoin starter kits swd pins to my stm32f407vg disco boards swd pin for programming bluecoin. I want to download code but i couldn't see to device in my PC. There is writing "No ST-LINK Detected'. Also i use st-link for programming but same result. What can i do now?

Okay basically i have two question,[1]SWV ITM (printf) is not working with main.cpp(c++) but with main.c it works as a charm. The culprit seems to be is main.cpp but i have no idea how to make it work there.[2] The project is converted to C++ even though it produces main.c files instead of main.cpp. So i have to manually rename it to main.cpp . When ever i make any changes to .ioc the cubeMx inside of the cubeIDE produces the main.c instead of a c++. Is there any way to automatically generate source files in cpp extension because manually renaming it often leads to human error. Thank you.
