STM32 MCUs Software development tools

I am reading  UM2238 User manual Rev 8, At page 18, it shows command line interface (CLI). Where can I doenload tool so I can hands on forlling the instruction?

Hello friends,I used to use stm32cubemx ethernet with previous versions of cubemx and cubeide. However, the new release wondered me in the way that it didn't generate any code for the ethernet peripheral initialization, by which I mean formerly there was a function in the generated code "MX_ETH_init()". But in the recent version even with the activation of LWIP this function isn't generated. I use stm32f429bit6 chip along with stm32cubemx 6.1.1 and cubeide 1.10.1.Moreover, there was Phy Address Parameter in parameter settings in previous versions which I couldn't find that in the new release.

In order to use the HAL's register callback capability, various flags are set for each peripheral in the stm32***_hal_config.h generated by CubeMX such as USE_HAL_FDCAN_REGISTER_CALLBACKS.The issue is that these defines don't look for a prior define first, so it's not possible to override via compiler options etc and each time the project is regenerated it replaces this file.Is there not a way that these can be set that won't be erased upon each generation?Many thanks

I'am using Cubeprog version 2.10.0 and kit b_u585i_iot02a. Flashing to NOR flash with external loader is OK and verification is also OK. Then I tried to check flash against file but it fails, too big file...Can this be fixed ? Hi all,I've bought this board https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/LoRa_E5_Dev_Board/ and for now I try to create my own program with stmSDK. But I hae an error when I try to erase AT firmware give by Seed. I've connect my ST-LINK/V2 to the board like it said in the wiki with SWD. But when I run STM32CubeProgrammer I encoutering an error `No STM32 target found!`. Before clicked in connect button I hold reset button on the board. I got this issue when i am executing FLASH TEST, inside that i am calling OPTIONAL BYTE CONFIG when i am calling it in main.c it is working fine but when i am trying to debug second time it is enter into HardFault_handler(void) function. when i am trying to reset or restarting it is not resolved it is throwing same fault NOTE:- Now it is not working for all others modules.

Starting with the STM32 Cube FW_H7 1.10.0 version, it becomes impossible to specify the correct location of the ethernet descriptors and buffers officially recommended here (https://community.st.com/s/article/How-to-create-project-for-STM32H7-with-Ethernet-and-LwIP-stack-working) in paragraph 10.2 for CortexM4.Migrating example (p.11. Attached examples) STM32H745_Nucleo_M4_ETH.ioc from 1.9 to 1.10 gives the result shown in the picture.&

When I create a new project in STM32CubeIDE with the use of a configuration (.ioc) file, configure peripherals, and generate code, all handlers (such as I2C_HandleTypeDef, UART_HandleTypeDef, QSPI_HandleTypeDef, DMA_HandleTypeDef, etc.) and their initialization functions are placed in main.c file.Is there a way to automatically split the code into multiple pairs of headers and source files (let's say, a header-source pair for UART, a header-source pair for I2C, etc.)?I would like to define some custom parameters and functions related to my peripherals. Of course, I can create additional headers and source files. I would just prefer to group them all together without producing multiple files.Thank you.

On the board page nucleo-f446re it mentions a specific feature of board is a 48MHz HSE. However in STM32CubeIDE I only have the option to set the HSE up to 26MHz. How do I go about enabling the 48MHz HSE or could you point me in the direction of any additional documentation?I want to use 48MHz HSE for a more accurate clock for time synchronisation.

When configuring / assigning pin functions it will great to know the I/O level of the pins. Now one has to open the datasheet alongside for that information. It will be of great help and save a lot of time. Will love to see this feature in the future.Thanks & RegardsKaushik B. M.

Hello, I bought a new Stm32f746g_DISCO board and loaded the same code that has been running on 2 other boards for 2 years. With the new board, I load the code and everything is ok, but when I disconnect and reconnect the power supply, the display is ok, but it no longer responds to touch.Also made a simple project with stm32CubeIDE with a toggle button, exactly the same, and on the older boards this application runs without problems. Is there something to note in the code for the new board regarding touching?I would be very grateful for your help, I've been sitting on this problem for a week now.

I am trying to use Registers in STM32CubeProgrammer to change the setting of GPIOB, but whenever I change a value. it just gets changes back to the value it had before! Is this because Registers is still in BETA or am I doing something wrong?

Since CubeMX changed to 6.5.0 and Firmware Package to V1.10.0 (included full-reworked ETH driver) Ethernet on existing project became not work after code regeneration.Detailed investigation shows that:Definition of memory location for RX_POOL (memp_memory_RX_POOL_base[]) is missed. Result of this - DMA fault on reception of any packet.In the function ethernet_link_thread() at section under if(linkchanged){} used HAL_ETH_Start(&EthHandle); instead of HAL_ETH_Start_IT(&EthHandle);. That stops ETH after reconnect a cable.Software example that supplied with Firmware Package (LwIP_HTTP_Server_Netconn_RTOS) works fine and free of issues, described above.But ethernetif.c, generated by CubeMX, needs to be corrected manually.Also, it seems have to change Cortex_M7 memory regions settings exactly as in software example.

I am using STM32F411 and SDK v1.27.1I am trying to trigger an DMA xfer with an external signal source using the TIMER1 External Trigger, without the need to execute any interrupts in the CPU to utilize the CPU time, as I have two signals one every 2ms and one every 150us that come from to different on board ICs, and when each signal is executed an SPI/UART xfer must be done to retrieve data in real-time.I have used the code generator from the CubeIDE to generate Initialization code, an started the transfer in the main functionHere is the pinout view of the projectTimer1 Conig.

Hello. I want to read multi-channel analog data (four channels) with my Nucleo-F072RB. I previously worked with Nucleo F411RE and I did not have any problems. But with F072RB, I'm so confused. When I open my board on CubeMX, I can select multi ADC1 channels (for example IN1, IN2..) but in ADC configuration I can not see "Number of Conversions" or "Rank" properties. So I can not configure the multichannel ADC. I thought maybe this board had only one configuration and so it had not allowed configuring ADCs...But when I coded two potentiometer ADC reading codes, I saw it was not working. Can you help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am using a STM32L4R9ZI programming by STLINK-V3MINI on STM32CubeIde. Once I launch for debug, I get always this message:"Break at address "0x1fff163e" with no debug information available, or outside of program code." Code application does not start, as if there is an infinite loop somewhere.I press the Stop and Restart button and debug starts fine. This condition is repeatable. It does not happen If the application starts without debugger. Any suggestions?Further, every time I launch debug, the IDE opens one or more .c files of the project, line usart.c, task.c and so on. How can avoid it?Thank you
