Keep getting the error 'Problem during the server connexion'

This can be reproduced by starting a new CubeMX project using reference MCU STM32L4P5ZGTx and firmware package STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.17.0. Start by enabling SDMMC2 (4 bit wide bus mode) and FATFS (SD card mode with SDMMC instance set to SDMMC2, any GPIO pin will do for platform setting). Anyone have an idea for a work around or if this will be fixed on CubeMX? I'm attaching my .ioc for completeness.

I have tried to generate a new project using STM32CubeIDE from scratch (fw V1.27.0, no way to modify it[!!!]) but it does not compile.A lot of descriptors are missing, like there is no resolution for the following:ETH_TxPacketConfig TxConfig; ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMARxDscrTab[ETH_RX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Rx DMA Descriptors */ ETH_DMADescTypeDef DMATxDscrTab[ETH_TX_DESC_CNT]; /* Ethernet Tx DMA Descriptors */No ETH_TxPacketConfig and ETH_RX_DESC_CNT and ETH_TX_DESC_CNT defined anywhere.Also, there is no HAL_ETH_RMII_MODE defined (for example) anywhere and if I try to resolve these issues, it reveals:ETH_InitTypeDef does not have TxDesc and RxDesc and RxBuffLen members, so practically ethernet layer is completely messed up.

Hello community,Warning, when gerating code for STM32G0B with FW_1.5.0, DMA init function is called after USART2 init function.So the DMA doesn't works !!The only way to resolve this i have found is to cut/paste function in the good order ^^Report the bug if you know how to do that.Have à good day,Thomas.

I'm trying to get up to speed on dual core debug on the STM32H745 Disco, using STM32CubeIDE. I've followed a couple of instructional videos that show how to do this.https://youtu.be/k3mXhPZSaswhttps://youtu.be/jI1k6p-fduEI've got both cores blinking an led as expected, however whilst the M7 core enters debug correctly, the M4 core fails to enter debug. I have installed the GDB server & CubePROG as the first video suggests.Clearly I've missed something, but I've tried some other settings to no avail.

I have been using the DMA for UART transmit for months without problem. The MX program is not generating the code for DMA configuration anymore. It used to work. I have other problems with the current version and I am tired of all the "it will be fixed in the next version".

I've tried to run STM32CubeMX on my Windows 11 parallels virtual machine that run under Monterey on Apple M1 MAX machine.For some reasons the application crash. I've tried various compatibility modes with and without administrative rights but with no success.Can you please elm me know how do I supposed to setup the application in order to work?Thanks,Andrei

Just select File - New - Project - STM32H735VGT6 (with LQFP100 package)Then select Conectivity - Eth - RMII.Since this time Trace and Debug - DEBUG reports conflict with ETH RMII, see attached picture.png, marked in red, and I don't know why.By datasheet pins PA13 and PA14 should be dedicated for debug purpose only, not shared with other functions.For BGA100 pin package it is working correctly. I am working with a STEVAL-ESC001V1 board. I have downloaded a set of source files etc. I am looking at a function called pwm_start and I noticed that it calls MCI_ExecSpeedRamp with hard coded 0 for the ramp time. It then occurred to me that I might be MEANT to change it. I mean, I know I can, for example, change the signature and pass the ramp time in as a parameter and it doesn't look to me like that would break anything. So, are these high level functions intended as a starting point?EDIT: I only need a yes or no. If it's no please put me on the correct path.

My goal is to reserve a pin over CubeMX to remind me later to use that pin as an optional GPIO for example.I want some kind of marker that when I come back on the CubeMX configuration it catches my attention. I would prefer a color marker.I don't want to use the regular GPIO input assignation (shown in green on CubeMX) because it is lost among my 100 pins already configured (and also shown in green on CubeMX).Some clues of achieving my goal (but that appears not feasible at the moment on CubeMX v6.4.0):• Assign <Single mapped signals> on a simple GPIO output over CubeMX (pin becomes yellow);• Apply a label on an unused pin (pin stays grey but with option label on it);• Change pin color of a regular GPIO output.One other method without using the color marker could be to use a label marker tag like: <[OPTIONAL] My_Pin_Label>. I develop on Ubuntu using STM32CubeIDE / MX (I also sometimes use VSCode and st-utils with cortex debug) for F4 and I'm looking to transition to L4 processors. The main aim is to get connected to AWS for streaming telemetry from devices in the field.After the disappointment of realising the P-L496G-CELL02 is essentially obsolete I thought I would ask some questions before trying to return it for a refund.

Below error is throwing in Manjaro Linux when I try to upload the program to the board. The project is building successful. Installed libncurses from AUR as well as the offiicial repository, but no use.

I've tried importing the examples into the IDE , complies fine but will not upload - i get the "Failed to execute MI command:" error if i use the stm32CubeProgrammer i can write to Flash(boot loader &program) but it never hands off to Qspi 0x90000000 i can make a small blinky program work out of the small boot flash - so is it me ? the IDE ? a bad dev board? (had successful projects utilizing f411' using the IDE ) possibly an explanation step by step like i'm 5years old ;) ?

I have a source of can messages connected to the SN65HVD232D CAN controller, which is then wired to a NUCLEO-G431KB via the FDCAN1 TX and RX pins. I confirmed with an oscilloscope/digital decoder that the transceiver does indeed output valid CAN messages, but the interrupt never triggers.
