STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

When creating a project with the new STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0, I get the following error: Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Whenever i rename a project. launch file is created and a number of. launch files are generated for each project name, is it possible that automatically that the old launch files are deleted, i can delete manually but just checking if it can be deleted automatically as soon i rename the project.

Hi Community,I'm new to STM32CubeIDE and currently working with the STM32H723Zx in the LQFP144 package. While configuring the SAI1 peripheral, I encountered something that seems counterintuitive.When I set the output mode to Mono, the "Number of Channels" option only allows 2 channels to be selected. However, when I switch the output mode to Stereo, I can select up to 16 channels.This behavior seems reversed to me—shouldn't mono mode allow more flexible channel selection, or at least fewer limitations than stereo?I've attached a screenshot below for reference.Any insights or explanations would be appreciated!Thanks in advance.

Hi there!Both STM32CubeIDE and the ST MCUFinder tool incorrectly mark the STM32H503 as having a CORDIC and FMAC when they don't.Could this please be fixed as it's very confusing.Thank you!

Hello, My project is working with stm3h743 HAL version 1.0.0 (the first one ever created).I am trying to update to the latest HAL version which auto generate by Cubeide 1.18.1 (Fw package 1.12.2).  I am using spi1/2/4/5 full duplex mode but currently I have problem with spi 5 through _IT mode (no DMA).The problem occurs only when I use HAL_SPI_Receive_IT for reading. In the old HAL I use   this->handle.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_2 and i am reading successfully through spi5.However, if I take the new hal and don't change anything else i get overrun error. (The same slave Hw of course).  One solution (but not a good one) I found is to use SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_128 but it hurts performance and seem not to be stable.What could be the problem?  O

Hello,I am currently working on a config file for STM32H723ZGTx (LQFP144). I am setting up ADC1 and want to select "Conversion Data Management Mode" to be DMA one shot instead of regular conversion to DR register. However, I cannot seem to select this option, is there other settings blocking it? or am I missing something else ? I am really new at this cubeIDE :))Thanks for your time,Kewin

The last couple of months I have been developing on an STM32H757I-EVAL board. Programming and debugging (multi-core) works reasonably well; although sometimes I need to re-power the board.During the last weeks, we transitioned from the EVAL board to the actual PCB design. Since then I have a lot of issues with debugging of the board.I use the ST-LINKV2 debugger in combination with STM32CubeIDE 1.18.0.Most of the times, the ST-LINK GDB server refuses to connect with the following error:Target connection mode: Under resetTarget connection failedTarget no device foundError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target.Playing around with the setting shows that the ST-LINK GDB server does not connect when having the '--halt' option specified (to halt both cores). Hi All,I am using STM32H747IDISCO kit.I load example project HSEM_COreSync into STM32CubeIDE(version 1.18.1) , and set a breakpoint at"BSP_LED_On(LED3);" line in main function on Cortex®-M4 side. And I start debug, but break doesn't occur.I recognize LED3 is turned ON after LED1 turned OFF. Hello,Excuse me for being such a noob here but I'm having an issue with an STM32H7A3RTI6. I flash a basic blinky program with the stlink and then when I go to disconnect/reconnect the stlink to supply power to the chip it doesn't start up the program. I have to manually set NRST to ground to start the program again.Is there a way to toggle this pin at power up or am I doing something wrong?Thank you.

Heyyyyyyyyy St community. I need Help regarding the installation of STM32CubeIDE. I have been trying to Download the latest installer file from ST website but I am unable to download it. I changed my browsers, my PC, I even tired Downloading the file from Linux. But still am unable to download it successfully. Can anyone of you Share the downloaded Installer with me through some drive link or Cloud storage? Its urgent please. 

recently purchased the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q development board and began testing the programming process. Using ST-Link, I’m able to successfully flash either the FSBL or the application firmware individually. However, after pressing the RESET button, the flashed program disappears, indicating that it wasn’t permanently stored.Upon further investigation, I learned that the FSBL and application need to be flashed separately using an external programmer, targeting the external Flash. Despite configuring the BOOT pins (BOOT0 = 0, BOOT1 = 1) as recommended, I haven’t been able to successfully program the external Flash using the programmer.I would like to ask:What is the correct procedure to flash both FSBL and application into external Flash?Are there any specific tools, configurations, or memory mapping requirements I should be aware of?Could this be related to linker script settings or Flash offset configurations?

I recently installed STM32CubeIDE on a new computer for the first time. Starting out my first project, and I immediately run into an issue that makes the MX portion basically completely un-usable. The problem is that when I want to change the configuration of a pin I simply... can't.For example, if I want to change PA2 (USART2_TX) Maximum output speed from low to high, before I would simply click on "low" and a small menu would pop-up that would let me change it to "high", and now that is just gone.All I can do is change the user label in the pinout view (which will make the configuration refresh and I will see the user label appear) but for example, I cannot simply click on User Label in the configuration window and type something in, it just wont let me do that.I have sure everything is running on the latest version; the IDE and all associated packages, as well as all my drivers

My code gets complied without any errors. But just before the uploading completes: <signal handler> called at 0xfffffff9 is displayed.Even though after that my code runs properly without any hardfault.

Hello,I am currently using a F4 processor in HAL together with the Stm32cubeIDE.Thus the IDE generates F4 hal files which later are included in the main program.  To access the specific functions I need to #include "stm32f4xx_hal.h" in my own programs and libraries to make the HAL available in my programs.  When I later want to change the platform to an F7 processor I would need to change all the code to #include "stm32f7xx_hal.h". This is very inconvenient. How can I avoid this problem? Thanks in advance Alexander

It does it only on one PC out of several, however.More details here (EEVBLOG link, not dodgy, had to do this because this forum cuts pieces out of URLs to other forums)https://tinyurl.com/4r5uwt2s I've tried the Xmx1024m stmcubeide.ini file parameter, to 768m, which reduces (see above link) the memory used, but Cube still eats up all the physical memory.24GB RAM machine.

Enabling or disabling the two settings generates the same code. Please fix it.

- Folder in projects shows no file (empty) when expanding.There are already files in project folders in path.
