STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

Hi,I encountered the following problem on two different computers with different versions of STM32CubeIDE. I select File->New->STM32 Project, then i select MCU or Board and click to Finish. Then pops up window called "STM32 Project" to fill up project name. Usualy there is "next" button to select another features, like which CubeFW version to use etc. But now, the "next" button is greyed out. Probably due field called "Target Project type" with greyed out option "STM32 Cube". When i hit "finish" button, IDE creates empty project without ioc file - in other words it does not open CubeMX to configure project.I am not aware of interfering with the IDE in any way (plus I observed it on two independent PCs). Hi, I'm creating a new project in STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0, but the .ioc file is not being generated. Online sources suggest it might be due to the FPU not being initialized. Only the files shown in the second picture are being created.

"Hello, I am using a NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q board. I flashed two programs successfully, but on the third attempt, it stopped flashing because I accidentally forgot to enable Serial Wire Debug. Now, when I connect a charging cable, it shows 'No target found,' and when I connect a data cable, it shows 'No ST-LINK detected.' Please help.

Hi everyone,I'm running into a consistent crash with STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1/1.19 right after selecting or creating a workspace,  after upgrading from version 1.13.1. I working on a corporate-managed Windows PC with SentinelOne installed.I attached the log file below. Based on what I see, I think it could be a problem with a certificate or proxy settings, maybe some leftovers from the old 1.13 version. We had some proxy changes internally, while I must say... Now I know you read the community postings, you just prefer to ignore them if they are annoying. Flagging a thread as read only and posting an "alibi" technical solution where the thread clearly shows that thread was not about technical issues in common, but your customers do not want to be forced to log in to use your product is an affront against all those people who spoke out against those new policies.

Hello, I am trying to build a api in stm32 cube ide with base mcu as nucleo board.i am planning to build a api with input parameters GPIO_PIN,IRQ_HANDLER_FUN.UserAPI_exticf(GPIO_PIN,IRQ_HANDLER_FUNC){}I don't want ot configure gpio as exti in .ioc file and use it main cI want everythibg to be done in UserAPI_exticfg. If you have such reference code or libraries please share it. 

I downloaded STM32CubeIDE to my computer. However, when I tried to launch it after the installation, I got an error saying "An error occurred while starting the installer." What could be the reason for this issue?

Hello I manage to install cube ide on Ubuntu 24.04 custom docker.The internet connection works as i properly configured the proxy and install my certificates on the system, and on the java side (jre/bin/keytool) of eclipse based Cube ide.The check connection works in 'windows > preferences > STM32Cube > Firmware updater' menu (see attached image) and I am able to download and install some of the updates via 'help > check for update menu'The compilation of my project works and also able to debug and program via st link from the docker.Nevertheles I still encounter a problem when i tried to connect to my st account, via 'Help > STM32Cube updates > Connection to St' i have a first page where i can click on 'Enter myST account information', then it the open a second page based on a web browser (see attahed image) where it states that 

I am having debugging issues with STM32CubeIDE. the processor is STM32F030F4Px and I am using a knock off ST-Link V2. It seem that no matter what I configure I get the same error. There also is a check GDB server version error in the IDE window. Using latest STM32CubeIDE version 1.18.1 and STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.28.2 available for use.Note that this new firmware has board examples in STM32CubeIDE project format and no longer in SystemWorkbench.Using STM32CubeIDE to Import STMCube example, after selecting the board, e.g., STM32F4469I-DISCO, then an example, e.g., GPIO_EXTI, you get a STM32 project, but it doesnt compile with the IDE. It doesnt seem to have any .ioc file, etc., even though the target board was specified from the beginning. Pic 2 selects board and example, then last pic shows the project. But IDE isnt able to compile this project (hammer is gray, etc.).Why? How to create the example so that it will compile for selected target board? Is the new FW useless, eventhough it shows STM32CubeIDE projects for the examples, applications, etc?

Hello team, I am new to STM32CubeIDE. I have a NUCLEO-H743ZI2 board. When I try to open an example project, it shows the message: 'Target NUCLEO-H743ZI2 is obsolete according to marketing status,' and the .ioc file is not generating. I have already installed the latest version of the IDE. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

When using SPI LL API on STM32H7, we want to use the CFG2[AFCNTR] bit. When “Master Keep IO option”  is used in the IDE, Cube does not generate the LL_SPI_EnableGPIOControl() function call so that the bit remains unset. This has then has to be called from the user code. Is this a known behavior or a bug?Reproduction steps are simple, when HAL is used for the SPI initialization the bit is set correctly, while when it is changed to LL, it is not set. Reproduced on: Nucleo-H723ZGSTM32CubeIDE: 1.19.0Package: H7 1.12.1

Hi,After CubeMX auto-code generation, CubeIDE shows message: " project XXX is part of hierarchical structure. Would you like to import entire project structure? Yes/NO?  "if I choose "Yes", a sub-directory will be created inside my project which is not desirable. How to fix it?Thanks,Peter

I've got a project that's being developed using STM32CubeIDE  V 1.18.1I've switched from using HAL to LL for the RCC, but the stm32g4xx_ll_rcc.c file is not being added to the project (though stm32g4xx_ll_rcc.h is added) - which means that calls to LL_RCC_DeInit() result in a link failure.

Hello,  I am using STM32F103 and CubeIDE software for a time measurement project. In the capture interrupt function of the external signal, I obtain the value(CNT) of the timer to calculate the interval time between signals. And I use STLINK V2 to debug my program (SWD).  While I was debugging my program, I found that no matter where I add the break point, the interval time would change. In other words, the process of adding breakpoints during debugging affected the operation of timer. This does not occur in Keil. Please provide me with a solution. Because I don't want to give up using CubeIDE.
