When configuring multiple FDCAN instances in CubeMx, the clock divider settings are not synchronised and are generated twice. For me, FDCAN1 clock divider has the drop down box with multiple options.FDCAN2 only has the "Divide kernel clock by 1" option. This should match FDCAN1 as one common clock divider value. "The clock is common to all FDCAN instances. This parameter is applied only at initialisation of first FDCAN instance." from UM2570.The first issue is within CubeMx, this clock divider value is then used for the indicator calculations:- Nominal Time Quantum- Nominal Time for One Bit- Nominal Baud RateIf the clock values are wrong, these values will be wrong.Second issue is the Init.ClockDivider code is generated twice, one per instance instead of just once.If these values are the same, there'll be no issue. CubeMX copies the .s startup file from the template folder and renames it based on the selected MCU. As the title says, the most recent 1.3.0 version of the extension breaks functionality of the debugger for the STM32G473CET3 MCU (and possibly others). By "breaks functionality", I mean that it does not even connect to the MCU anymore.

Hello!I attempted running a basic FreeRTOS example on a STM32F407VET6 board using CMSIS v2 following some tutorials, replacing systick for either TIM 6 or 7 as HAL Timebase as many tutorials suggest. The code only blinks and LED on the pre-generated task.I could never get the program to work and by pausing execution I noticed it went straight to the default handler infinite loop. Hi: My goal is to perform full-duplex I2S using the STM32F722RET6 part. To achieve this using the pins available on the package it looks like I need to use SAI2 (sub-block B) as the master/TX and SAI1 (sub-block A) as a slave/RX synchronized to SIA2.The configuration of SIA2 in CubeMX works fine.  However, when I attempt to configure the slave side (SAI1-A) the I2S option is greyed out (see below). Hello,For one of my project, my goal is to use PTP to synchronise multiple STM32H563 to one host.However, when configuring the ETH Device, I can only enable RMII, as the "RMII_PTP_SYNCHRO" is greyed out.I've read the pop up that tells me to enable TIM2 as a slave with trigger source "ETR1 through Remap", Channel 1 as "Input Capture direct mode from Remap". And both "remap capabilities" are set to "is connected to ETH_PPS".Is there something that I'm missing ?Best regards

I tried multiple times to generate code on Arch Linux with CubeMX version 6.17.0 and Import in CubeIDE version 2.1.1. I made a video with process. And I don't know why this not working. I tried last and previos version of packages for STM32F0. And I don't know but CubeMX copied files very very slow.I choosed CubeIDE toolchain in CubeMX.

Hello everyone,I’m trying to develop a new project using an STM32C552RET6 with a TFT display.I’d like to use TouchGFX for this, but I can’t find any instructions in CubeMX2 on how to configure a project as a graphical application.I saw some examples in TouchGFX Designer using the STM32C5, but I got the impression that the integration was done manually.So, does anyone know if CubeMX2 has this functionality?Thanks,Matheus

I've noticed, that the new STM32C5xx family is not present in the STM32_open_pin_data repo. I know why (MX2 vs MX), but ST, please, keep updating this repo with the new families' data. It's a valuable database for third party tools used to allocate pins in various STM32 designs. Thanks, JW

Hello,   I may have found a bug related to the STM32C092GCU6 MCU and the FDCAN peripheral.   I created a new project and experienced issues with FDCAN reception: no RX messages were received, and the callback HAL_FDCAN_RxFifo0Callback() was never triggered.  After several days of troubleshooting, I discovered a possible mismatch between the startup file and the generated interrupt handler names.  In startup_stm32c092gcux.s, the following interrupt vectors are defined:  .word FDCAN_IT0_IRQHandler /* FDCAN global interrupt 0 */ .word FDCAN_IT1_IRQHandler /* FDCAN global interrupt 1 */   Howeve

Hi, I changed the location of the main.c file in my disk then reimported it in the project explorer as a linked file under the same path (under core/src). When I modify the .ioc file, save it and regerated the code, the changes of the peripheral configuration are not reflected in the linked main.c file. I opended the project directory (on disk) to investigate and saw that a new main.c is generated and the changes are reflected there. What is the solution that makes the generated code from the .ioc be integrated in the linked main.c and not generated a new main.c?

Dear all, I found an interesting effect using the CubeL4 and CubeMX generated files for a STM32L496 and use ADC1 and ADC3 (not simultaneously): What we do: We turn the ADCs on only when we sample data, otherwise they are turned off.  To turn the ADC off, we use HAL_ADC_DeInit which calls HAL_ADC_MspDeInit. Issue: HAL_ADC_MspInit and HAL_ADC_MspDeInit keep track of active ADCs through static variable HAL_RCC_ADC_CLK_ENABLED. Init increases the count, deinit decreases it. If, however, init and fails but we still call deinit the count wraps around to 0xFFFF FFFF - upon next init it wraps around to 0, but then the ADC clock is not turned on and initialization fails again. i created a project with the MCSDK for controlling my 3-phase motor,i used it to create a new project with the ioc file with the cubemx, but got many compilation errors, i manage to solve lots of them but got 1 error i cant solve:error: #error "Please select first the target STM32G0xx device used in your application (in stm32g0xx.h file)"133 | #error "Please select first the target STM32G0xx device used in your application (in stm32g0xx.h file)" but the macro STM32G031xx is defined on my PREPROCESSOR definitations. There are lots of issues with the last third-part parties software lately (MCSDK and GFX as well), the projects are lucking some folders, like the include folder in which the main.h exist or the h files of the drivers and are not part of the project when doing searches
