STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I used cubeMX to generate code for the USB init. Somehow some #include calls are not working. They can't find the file. But if I ctrl+click I get directed to the correct file. I tried refreshing, rebuilding the index, open as admin and specificly adding the files as an include option in the preferences. Nothing worked. Then all of a sudden all hal-driver files produced errors. At some point it resolved itself(?) and then "core_cm7.h" gave me an error message because of a #error. And now I get this message:file format not recognized. What is happening? I work on CubeIDE 1.1.0 and STM32h743.

Hi, I am using STM32CubeIDE and written a code of transmission .I am taking data in MATLAB serially .First time when ,i run the program in STM32CubeIDE and get correct data in MATLAB by running the MATLAB serial code//MATLAB serial code s=serial('COM5','BaudRate',9600); fopen(s); data=fscanf(s); d23=str2num(data) x=plot(d23);,but second time when i run the program which is written in MATLAB to get data from COM port,it shows error like 'COM port is not available '.So now what i am doing is closing the MATLAB window and again opening ,that time program in MATLABworks.Please tell me any suggestion over it.

I was trying to flash my code into the STM32L0xx series controller, not a Evaluation board. When I did, it said the code has flashed that it was successfully done but when I disconnected the debugger ST-Link(GDB) and re-plug it to power the code did not run it needed a hardware reset to run this code. How can I control this reset to reset when hot plugged and should be done without any button or hardware reset. Only software reset must be done because of our application. Good day, everyone. I've got an issue where after creating the project with the startup CubeIDE, (which I presume is also CubeMX just running from within the IDE) It seems that I can no longer launch the MX window in order to change or add some things. Anyone has an idea why this is the case? Neither these, nor the MX button at the top right end of the window do anything.

It's very inconvenient to always have to "debug" the application to run it. I tried to research this, but it seems there aren't any easy-to-find articles on this.

Hi,Am using STM32CubeIDE with FreeRTOS middleware (CMSISv1). I dont see change in code generated in file stm32f4xx_hal_timebase_tim.c when I modify tick frequency to 100000 instead of the default 1000. Hi! I have the own include file which contains more the same HAL libraries headers with a different types of controllers. Could it be some possible (with Directive and Contitions?) for a compiler to choose itself according to the used controller in Project? Hello everyone, this is my firt question, sorry for my error. I have create a little program on mbed online compiler, but now i would import this program on stm32cubeide for use debug. Online i have see some tutorial but they are old and don't work. How can I solve it? there is some more recent tutorial.I export the project both as a system workbank and gcc, but when import the project on cubeide they find some error.thanks

When I specify a user debug script in STM32CubeIDE debug configuration window I get the error "Provided file doesn't exist" even though it's there. Even if I specify the same text as the "Automated Generation" option I get this error.Is there a workaround ?

Hi,from Properties -> Paths and Symbols i added file path to 'Include Directories'. Then, i added my source file and my header file to 'my_libs' which i created under project_name -> Drivers.When i call a function from library i see 'undefined reference to (function_name)' error.How can i fix this? Hi all!, I have a electret microphone amplifier (see attached). The circuit works fine with a LM-358, but when I use the internal opamp from a STM32F303, the gain is very low. I use the STM32 opamp in STANDALONE mode. Is ther something I'm missing?I generate the code, from CubeIDE, and then launch the program. Does it works like a normal OpAmp? I mean if I need to do something inside the program, or just the static void MX_OPAMP1_Init(void);generated from the CubeIDE?

I attended a recent ST seminar and was delighted to see the improvements in STM32CUBEIDE! Worked great in the seminar and I completed all 6 projects using MEMS components.It's now been about a month and I'm wanting to spend some serious time with the MEMS board. I updated CUBE and am now running 1.1.0. You can imagine my delight when I tried to rebuild my projects from the seminar and nothing works! Let me elaborate.Let's just start with Make. When I try to build any of the projects, the console reports: Cannot run program "make": The system cannot find the file specified.Needless to say, I have tried many things to address this problem. The correct paths (to the latest versions) of make (and other tools) are indicated when I check Properties in the tool. Since these paths were not in the Windows 10 path, I put them there. I also verified that the tools really were in the directories where they should be. I even tried putting the full path i

After generating code for a migrated project (from TrueStudio & CubeMX), I noticed a new file 'mx.scratch' in the project's root.Is this a temp file that gets generated from other files or shall I take it under source control?

And if I try to add "LED3_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE();" in main.c as it's done in "TM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.11.0\Projects\STM32F042K6-Nucleo\Examples\GPIO\GPIO_IOToggle", I'm getting an error "undefined reference to `LED3_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE'". I have to add an include to stm32f0xx_nucleo_32.h ? Or configure something ?Thanks

I have been trying to get a timer to trigger adc conversion automatically and invoke my ADC IRQ handlers. But no luck so far. Unless i actually trigger the ADC conversion in timer IRQ, it does work. But that defeats the purpose of TRGO trigger all together.Is there a Cube ide example of ADC conversion triggered from timer IRQ ?I just need a project that invokes irq handler where it breaks. I simply fail to get the config to trigger the adc irq despite every period calling timer irq.
