Hi all,just a short question:Why does the compiler say that the page is redefined?#define ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_148 ((uint32_t)0x0804A000) #define ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_149 ((uint32_t)0x0804A800)Same page but with small letters and that's ok for the compiler.#define ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_148 ((uint32_t)0x0804a000) #define ADDR_FLASH_PAGE_149 ((uint32_t)0x0804a800)I've got hundreds of warnings within my defines beacuse of that.Can anyone explain that to me?Regards,Enrico

Hi,I'm working with multiple monitors. I had to compare two STM32CubeMX files from two projects in the project tree. So, I right-clicked on one project, selected 'open in new window', and then openend the corresponding STM32CubeMX file. Both views of the files got corrupted. Even when closing the second window, the view on the first window couldn't be restored, STM32CubeIDE must be restarted.Regards

Hello developers,I am a beginner in STM32 programming.I have the board STM32L152C-Discovery, the ST-Link V2 adapter and Linux Debian on my laptop installed.I am using STM32CubeIDE as IDE.I setup my first project in STM32CubeIDE with the automated code generation and added my own code for toggling LED 4, which is being connected to Pin 7 of the CPU.I can build and compile the project, but not debug it. STM32CubeIDE is not 'seeing' the arm_math functions, although I have installed them and I have #included arm_math.h

I have been trying to figure out why I cannot open and build the STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0/Projects for the B-G474E-DPOW1 discovery board in STM32CubeIDE. (There are missing BSP driver includes and API source when generating code.) I think the problem is that the board=custom in the .ioc file, since if I create a new project and select my board, then the setting is board=B-G474E-DPOW1.The main.c for ADC_GainCompensation has "BSP_LED_Init(LED4)". The main.h has #include "b_g474e_dpow1.h" How does CubeMX figure out where the LED4 and b_g474e_dpow1.h definitions are found? The build fails initially when b_g474e_dpow1.h is missing.Is there a way to specify or change the board for a project? If not, what is the correct way to create a new project and copy the source files from the STM examples?Is anyone able to open the standard en.stm32cubeg4.zip STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0 and successfully generate code, e.g. with STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0/Projects/B-G474

I need to change all occurences of variable names. These names happen to be in a lot of .C and .H files hundred times. Source is from a collegue with "xz2b3" kinda variable names. I'd like to change variables to longer, more talkative names. Some IDE editors feature some Ctrl-Shift-F for this purpose. Any tip?

I was able to open the STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0/Projects/B-G474E-DPOW1/Examples/ADC/ADC_GainCompensation example project in CubeIDE. I had to modify a .ioc parameter and save to generate code. The Cube code generator managed to find the STM32G4xx_HAL_Driver sources and link them to the project, but does not find the Drivers/BSP/B-G474E-DPOW1/*.{h,c}At first there was a missing .h file, so I manually added an include path to STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0/Drivers/BSP/B-G474E-DPOW1 but then the empty local Drivers/BSP/ B-G474E-DPOW1 has no .c files. So BSP_LED_Off() etc. is missing in the linker.How can I get the code generator to find the include and source files in STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0/Drivers/BSP/B-G474E-DPOW1? I used ST32CubeMX to install into ~/STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.1.0 but did not try to generate code with CubeMX-- just saving the CubeIDE .ioc file. I don't understand how it found the STM32G4xx_HAL_Driver but not BSP.

Hi all.i have problem using float and double in mytest application.I hjave an aplication generated using stm32cubeide Version: 1.0.2Build: 3566_20190716-0927 (UTC), CUBEMX ver 4.21.0.Application use FreeRTOS Kernel V10.0.1 and task.in a task i read temperature valu from a sensor and try to set the value in a variable.Variable contain garbage but with debug i can see rigth value returned from sensor.i cannot get hint from google search.Someone ha the same problem? may you suggest same?Regards,Carmelo GAllucci

I just wanted to create a new project for the board ( last project I created about 24 hours ago, was still working ). That caused an update to run, the device is now obsolete, and I can't create projects, get the error: The target device 'STM32F429I-DISC1' is currently not supported by STM32CubeIDE according 'Obsolete' marketing statusAs of now, the status on https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/32f429idiscovery.html is still ACTIVE. What is that, and how can it be fixed urgently?

Hello!I ported my projects from Atollic TrueSTUDIO® for STM32 (Version 9.3.0) and STM32CubeMX (Version 4.27.0) to STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.0.2).When testing my Application, Ethernet did not work until i changed the ethernetif.c file generated by STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.0.2).In Detail, i added a line in this function:static err_t low_level_output(struct netif *netif, struct pbuf *p)Concretely, i added:   SCB_CleanInvalidateDCache();before the transmit function is executed: HAL_ETH_Transmit(&heth, &TxConfig, ETH_DMA_TRANSMIT_TIMEOUT);This was done in my old project, which was generated by STM32CubeMX (Version 4.27.0).The attached picture shows the differences in STM32CubeMX (Version 4.27.0) [LEFT] and STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.0.2) [RIGHT].

I'm using a Nucleo-H743ZI2 to learn more about the H7 architecture in preparation for a project. I'm using the latest STM32CubeIDE with the 1.5.0 firmware, but I also tried (with no difference) STM32CubeMX.I very much prefer the LL libraries to the HAL, so after having built a test app with HAL, I went into the Project Manager, Advanced Settings page of the configurator, to select LL libraries instead of HAL. To my surprise, only the GPIO LL library was selectable, and there was no way to set LL libraries for RCC, ADC or USART. I can see that LL libraries are provided (and documented) in the firmware, and the few LL examples for my board have the code to initialize the RCC, so clearly I could make the LL to work, but I would lose the ability to use the configurator.Why are the LL libraries for H7 provided but not usable from STM32CubeIDE?EDIT: I tried again using my STM32F407VGT6 board, and as expected I could configure RCC, ADC, DMA and USA

I have a STM32G474 Discovery board and want to run some of the examples from the G4 Firmware library. I know how to create a new project, but can't see how to open the example projects. The User Manual for stm32cubeg4 says I can open the workspace from the example files supplied, but there aren't CubeIDE workspaces, and the instructions I have are for opening with the standalone STM32CubeMX to create an IDE project. Do I need to install the standalone CubeMX?

Hi, I am trying to program the BlueCoin through STM32CubeIDE and I am finding some difficulties. I am not really experienced with this enviroment so I thought I could ask you for help. I have seen the examples on st.com and now I am interested in making my own "DataLog". I am interested in the vl53l0x mounted on the board. I would like to know how to propely import the "BlueCoin" folder (with all the .h and .c) in my project. I am probably doing something wrong when trying to copy the folder. Can you please help me? Maybe I don't just need to copy-paste and probably there are more steps that I don't know to make before it works . I would like to make a simple program which reads the vl53l0x without threads , semaphores, battery monitoring, lighting led, etc. but I can't import the library correctly. Thank you in advance
