Hello,i tried to create a basic STM32CubeIDE Project for Nucleo743ZI with SPI1At first all looks nice and smooth because i did not get an error when i use HAL_SPI_Transmit.But i then noticed that my output pins assigned to the SPI peripheral are not working, because on the Logic / Bus monitor i can only see the signals of my (separately defined) CS Signal.Question:Does someone have a STM32Cube IDE Project with SPI i can use for reference.For me it is important to have an complete IDE Project, because i wan't to understand how to use the cube mx tool to setup SPIn corttectlyThanks in advanceNote:I thought that i can first send "something" withoutb SPI slave connected, just to monitor signals on analyser .In a second step i will test with ATMEL DB02 EEPROMThanks for your example projects in advanceMarc

Hi,I upgraded to the latest version of STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.0.2) and I am noticing a possible bug with the device configuration tool. Whenever I open the tool and generate code from it, it resets all my build and general properties. This is really frustrating since it loses any paths and symbols for my project.

LD1 is not defined in device NUCLEO-H743ZILD2 and LD3 both seems ok.also, the builtin flash tool doesn't have the latest firmware for the stlink v2had to flash with the tool found here to get debug working:https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link007.html

STM32CubeIDE project skeleton generated, I stuffed main.c (between USER CODE BEGIN/ENDs) with my code. Project is built successfully. When I start debug, it downloads into my custom board through STLink, then stops at an initial breakpoint at HAL_Init(). The only problem, it is not in my main.c, but it loads original empty Project\Core\Src\main.c instead of my Project\Src\main.c. When debug started, only Project/Scr/main.c is opened in editor. When debug stops at HAL_Init() breakpoint, it loads Project/Core/Scr/main.c to a different editor tab. It seems the main() is compiled and linked from the Core folder instead of my user folder. Where to find the setting to avoid this?

Hi all,I am using STM32Cube IDE (Eclipse based) and I am trying configure the IDE to reflash the uC using the Run option rather than Debug option, without success.I always used OpenOCD from shell under Linux for this purpose.How can I setup the STLink for Run configuration in STM32Cube IDE ?Is there any small tutorial / user guide / AN available ?Thanks in advance.Simon

Hi there, Just started using the cubeIDE with an stm32h743zi. I've been trying to checkout some of the debug functionality and setup the SWV timeline graph and console. It seems like everything I've done has been correct but I could be wrong. In debug config:Interface is set to SWDSWV is enabledlive expressions are enabledin SWV settings:I've enabled a comparator with a simple variable name for the graphingenabled com port 6I'm calling HAL_UART_Transmit to try to print to console and started trace for the graphing, but neither functionality is working. Am I doing something incorrectly or is this a bug?

Hi, I've been working with STMCubeIDE to make projects with STM32. I recently started working with CMSIS DSP. My problem is that when I make a project with CubeIDE, I can't use the DSP Library.How can I include DSP Library in STM CUBE IDE ? Thank you .

I copy-pasted my library folder containing .cpp and .h files to the project root folder and added the include directories to both Include Paths in GCC and G++ compiler settings. But still when I'm trying to build the project, I get "undefined reference error" which indicates that my library source files are not getting built (or linked). I've changed the main.c to main.cpp as my library is in C++.What am I doing wring?

I have loaded all of the tools, this includes STM32CubeMX and STM32Cube IDE. I purchased the STM32F303RE Eval board to start project flow. The system states it was denied access to my C:\ drive. Instructs me to look at "Firmware Update" concening package installation. I'm starting my design in STM32Cube IDE. A little help would be great.

I agreed to STM32cubeIDE prompted upgrade to 1.0.2 this morning.Very first screen it showed was Info Center - but it fails to "reach page".Not off to a good start...

HelloI'm working with STM32CubeIDE ver1.0.2 and STM32F7508-DK.(F7 Hal Fw version : 1.15)I'm trying to Eth, LwIP.When I generate basic code with LwIP configuration, CubeIDE cannot build, has error.error message is [makefile:45: projectname.elf] error 1.It works successfully, when I use with STM32CubeMX and TrueStudio.Even if same configuration, STM32CubeIDE has error, STM32CubeMX and TrueStudio has no errorI don't know why, it just generates basic code.How can I solve this problem?Thank you in advance.

I've tried to uninstal it from Windows7 standard "programs and components". It's said that the "Program has already been uninstalled, remove from the list". But nothing actually has changed. Now I can't reinstall the IDE cause the installer argues that it is already installed.What a ....!

The solder bridges on the Nucleo-G474RE are set by default to LPUART but the configuration in STM32CubeIDE and I would guess in STM32CubeMX is set to USART1. I would suggest to change this to avoid confusion for the users.

Hello,I need to manually edit the debugging configuration script (CFG) file in STM32CubeIDE. But I can't seem to make CubeIDE run with a user-generated file or make any modifications to the auto-generated file.I provided CubeIUE with a path to a user-generated CFG file.For the purposes of the test, I used one that is identical to the auto-generated file except for a marker comment at line 12.When I attempt to launch debugging, CubeIDE overwrites the user CFG with a new auto-generated CFG. It will then try to debug with the new auto-generated CFG. This fails because my debugger needs custom settings. When I reopen the debugger configuration settings, CubeIDE shows two errors:Provided file doesn't exist!Not able to interpret provided file!This is ridiculous because the user CFG:Exists right in the project directory, in the IDENTICAL LOCATION to where auto-generated CFGs are placed

I need to use multiple V6180x SATEL sensors to get distance measurements, however I do not know how to make it work directly through the I2C connection, since once connected the sensor is not even found by the I2C.Is it possible to use this sensor by connecting it directly to the SDA, SCL, 3,3V and ground pins and use it as a common i2c device or do I need to use specific libraries and specific configuration?

Hi,I tried downloading STM32CubeIDE version 1.0.2 several times using either a different computer or try using a different browser and always failed.At the same time, I have no problem downloading other software, such as Windows update, Avast update, Java Runtime update etc.Does any one have a mirror of the STM32CubeIDE version 1.0.2?Thank you.
