Hello I´m comming from Microchip and ESP programming. Now I try to use STM. Where can i find good samples for STMCubeIDE to learn how to program STM32F 1--7Mainly i need (Serial, USB, I2C, SPI) if exist using interrupt.Thanks

I'm having a problem that I don't understand why it happens.I am using STM32CUBEIDE (updated).Each time the code below runs, the PC jumps to "HardFault_Handler". I have a design where I am trying to calculate the frequency of an incoming signal. I am using STM32CubeMX  and STM32CubeIDE combo. My process is to use "Live Expressions' within DEBUG to see the results. My platform is STM32F303RE. The code clip below is the CallBack Routine that is defines in my main.h file. Dear team,I am facing issue with STM32 uart.I have stm32f103c8 (you can google "stm32 bluepill ") board with me.I want to use uart communication on this, i am using Stm32 Cube ide 1.0.0 .when i transmit data from uart i receive garbage value on my laptop.I am using usb to serial converter.Please find zip file for code and snap shots.Imp points:I have tested my usb to serial converter with another controller which runs on 3.3v.i have checked with another uart also its also giving same problem.

I am now working on a STM32F769 based board without external memory to communicate with a LCD via RGB interface. I want to use STemWin stack libraty but I can not enable it because some misunderstanding, the GRAPHICS in the Middleware section is still gray out due to the unsuccessful settings of FMC. And it looks like the FMC configuration just supports the external memory configuration.I wonder if there is a tutorial to explain all settings of STM32CubeIDE's categories? Or at least for FMC settings to support LCD communication via RGB interface?

Is there any consensus about profiling tools around here?My team and I would like to track things like OS task sequences. I can not find that kind of tool with STM32CubeIDE.I know a little about Percepio traceanalyzer. Anyone using it?Thanks.

Error loading during project generation, access to the network is allowed in the firewall, the folder with repositories is empty, I can’t download any repository through the program. I just installed the development environment. I don’t want to manually put each repository. Not for this, I switched to this program.

At first, I downloaded elf using stlink v2 and run firmware. and then rebuild source. After that I tried to run debug button. But I encountered no device message.

In TrueStudio, it was able to bind an external tool to a breakpoint. I can still select the "External tool action" in the breakpoint properties dialog, but I can't add an external tool in the "External Tools Configuration" dialog. Will this feature be added again?

In my TrueSTUDIO workspace I have some unit tests which run on PC. Hence these are built using the "Atollic PC Tools" tool-chain. In STM32CubeIDE I cannot find this or anything similar. Did I miss something, will it be added later or am I left to define a custom tool-chain?So far this has stopped me from migrating to STM32CubeIDE.

Hello.I am testing a CAN bus using stm32 discovery (STM32F407).I use the HAL library. In the CUBE IDE program, it automatically generates the MX_CAN2_Init function. It calls another function HAL_CAN_Init. At run time, HAL_CAN_Init is reset SLEEP bitin MCR register but not reset SLAK bit MSR register . As a result, CAN not OK. Appears mistake. What am I doing wrong??? Thank.P.S. main.c file

Hi,I have just downloaded and am about to install e.st-stm32cubeide_1.0.2_3566_20190716_0927_amd.deb_bundle.sh.zip onto Kubuntu 19.04.As STM32CubeIDE seems to contain STM32CubeMX I was wondering if it was still necessary to install both openjdk 8 and ia32-libs prior to installing STM32CubeIDE.The installation of openjdk 8 has proceeded without any problems.However there seems to be a problem with the package ia32-libs. According tohttps://askubuntu.com/questions/107230/what-happened-to-the-ia32-libs-packagethe ia32-libs package seems to have been replaced with a Multi Arch package.So, given that the ia32-libs package seems to still be available and in order to cater for any required 32-bit functionality, should I install the more up-to-date Multi Arch pack

I have a project in STM32CubeIDE I run this project from command line in headless mode with this command:headless-bat -project "my-project-name/Debug" -buildand it builds successfully. But when I try to copy the same project to other directory and try to run it I am getting this error WARNING: No Project matched with my project name written with it. I copied the project to c:/myworkplace and then I run this command:headless-bat -project "my-project-name/Debug" -workplace "c:\myworkplace" -buildBut I got the error which I have mentioned above. Anyone has any idea?

hi all, new to stm32cube ide.i generated all of the project files using the build in cubemx thing and written my program but when i press compile, make errors out on Startup/startup_stm32f407vgtx.o missing.i've tried generating the files with a seperate cubemx installation but with the same result.so i came to the conclusion: either my pc is not doing stuff or i missed a setting.do you have any suggestions?thanks in advance!kars noordhuis

When I try to debug using a j-link onto an STM32 chip using STM32CubeIDE, the launching of the .elf file gets stuck around 92%. The console output is attached. Also I am running on a mac if that helps.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

st-stm32cubeide_1.0.2_3566_20190716-0927_x86_64.exeis supposed to install the toolchain. But it is a 64 bit application that cannot be started on a 32 bit Windows system

Hi i used Atolic (V9.3.0) before with cube MX. To have the official stm32 IDE i have migrate my project to stm32cubeide --> big error ! Now when i regenerate my project with the integrated cubeMX (or the CubeMX 5.3 app), this erase all my project option (include path, compilation optimization) ! I don't understand to replace a working version (Atolic) with a beta (or alpha) version of stm32cubeIDE !!!:pouting_face:

Hello,we are prorgamming MCUs bare metal without any predefined FW libraries for several reasons like code understanding and security issues. But we use the cmsis libraries from ARM and ST. Is it planned to implement project templates for CubeIDE with integrated CMSIS support but without HAL. Actually i have to create an empty project and link or copy the cmsis libraries manually.
