STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

Hi all. I am currently working out how to program the peripherals on a board I got recently. The board is an STM3220G EVAL. It is a lovely board and is stuffed with all manner of peripherals including Camera, 3.2" TFT with touch screen, LIS Accelerometer, Cirrus amp codec for audio, SD Card reader, USB FS OTG and USB HS OTG, Smart card reader and all sorts of others... I was hoping someone else has had experience using one of these boards. I would like to use CUBEIDE to program it so would like to learn how to use the examples and application examples provided for the board by ST. PLease can someone give me some help?Thanks,Steve.S

This is an amended version of my previous question "Is it possible to enable UART-debugging in LwIP on a Nucleo-H743ZI using a J-Link debugger?".With some new insights, it's clear to me that the J-Link debugger has its own capabilities of pulling debug output, and that LwIP debug messages are (combined with some conditions and preprocessor definitions) standard C printf's.Hence, the question is no longer "is it possible to get serial output", but rather HOW to make printouts play nice with CubeIDE and a Segger J-Link debugger?(Also, since I am running threaded LwIP with FreeRTOS, I am mainly interested in Segger's RTT or SWO to not block execution - semihosting would be far too slow to be effective.)My original question can be seen below:I am having a hard time orienting myself on where to start, but LwIP is supposed to be able to output debug messages, which would be a huge help in

Glad to see the dual core ICs available and I understand that it is still early days for support infrastructure. I also understand that you may not be able to commit to a date, but even a "not before *** date" would allow me to make a decision on rolling our own dev board, jump to IAR, etc. or perhaps just wait and see.

The same code run in IAR and in Atollic, starts up and from the beginning Run works fine and the device starts up without problem.Using STM32CubeIDE, I'm having trouble with MX_SP1_Init(). When I start a new project it constantly checks for updates. A post in May said to uncheck CubeIDE in available software sites. I unchecked CubeIDE and restarted it, but I still get the same problem.

In this above situation I am using STM32f105rc microcontroller and uploading code using SWD(Serial Wire Debugger). When I am using utility it gets scanned but when I am trying to upload code from cube ide then It doesn't go on. I don't what settings I am missing or doing wrong, I have used normal blinker code to toggle the pin B12. Please can anyone help me, since my critical project is going on so. need to solve my problem asap.Thanks in advance.

I am trying to gain some confidence using the SWO debug methodsbut I experienced some strange beavior what I cannot explain.1. I tried to send a 32 bit value though ITMPort1 in an inifiteloop and it works awhile but sometimes it switches to ITMPort21 and the value is different what I sent. After several hundred packetsit changes back to ITMPort1 and 0xABCDEF, which is the correctvalue. I do not see any overflows. It the ITM sends the correctvalues sometimes I see randomly wrong values.2. I tried the Data Trace function. If I ask both read and writeevent for a variable it works well, but if I set only the read or write event, I do not get the data trace events. The Trace Log window is full of ITMPort15 packets (which is not enabled) and the Data trace window is empty.The itmCounter1 and itmCounter2 variables are declared as volatile,and the optimization is switched off (-O0

Anyone experience this at all? arm-none-eabi-g++ gets stuck in a permanent loop trying to build main.cpp but works for other .cpp files. There are no errors or any information on what is going on.

I've tried installing STM32CubeIDE for the first time on Windows 10. Every time I run it, it automatically closes, and the stm32cubeide.exe file gets deleted. I've reinstalled 1.0.0, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 several times but this happens every time.Anyone familiar with how to fix this?

Hi, I wan to use semihosting on stm32cubeide using STLINK SWD debug probe . searched whole documentation of cubeide no where it is mentioned . Hello!When I install CubeIDE not in default folder and change a folder for workspace there are problems with code generation. This problem occurs with MCUs and Boards. Even if one can generate some code it is not the same code as if the programm and worspace are in default paths. And the debugger does not start...
