Hi,I have problem with automatick generated code from STM32CubeIDESTM32CubeMX: 5.6.0MCU: STM32F407FreeRTOS API CMSIS v2I have two problems (at least)I have to change macro in usbh_conf.h, after this alloc works.#define USBH_malloc malloc #define USBH_free free   // Have change to #define USBH_malloc pvPortMalloc #define USBH_free vPortFree  But USB still not working, ending in HardFault when calling xQueueSendToBackFromISR.When I change to CMSIS v1 and update USBH_malloc and USBH_free to FreeRtos macros it works.Is problem in my code/definition or template for project is wrong ?

Fresh installation, when I try to create a STM32 project a zip file with firmware is downloaded and unpacked, but I still get this error message:"Code generation could not be done because necessary firmware package is missing. Not able to complete STM32Cube project."I tried to download and unzip these files manually with no luck.I have this issue on my both PCs with windows 10. Also the same thing happens regardless if I try to create a project for my Nucleo F030R8 or Nucleo L053R8.

Hello, i installed on company laptop STM32CubeIDE to default folder C:/ST/... and created the workspace under c:/users/<username>/... by rightclick on installer --> execute as Admin.Afterwards I created a new project and tried to build, but then I get in the CDR Global Build console the error.make -j8 allCannot run program "make": permission deniedBuild finished. 0 errors, 0 warnings. (took 8ms)I tried different installation and workspace folder and hitting same problemQuestions:Do I have to install java by myself before?Why i get the permission problem?

Hello,(Hobbyist there) A few years ago I tried to develop on STM32 microcontrollers (the so called 'blue pill' to be exact) but the toolchain installation and the whole code generating process made me give up (also there wasn't full linux support if I'm not wrong, up to this day I still can't find official linux drivers for the ST-link). Fortunaly ST released the STM32CubeIDE which encompasses everything, making things a lot more easier for beginners.But after a few days of testing with the software and consulting documentations, I have a few questions and things I fail to achieve:1) When creating an STM32Project, I can choose between C and C++, but I don't see the difference between the two. At the end I just have a bunch of .h/c files and no .cpp files whatsoever (and especially no main.cpp). What does this mean ? Do I have to manually create .cpp and .h files in the Src and Inc folders, and must I copy the content of main.c in my own main.cpp ?

 same time I try to drop the bin file to device directly, but it's still fail and feedback a message "The application file format is unknown and cannot be parsed and/or processed"Currently i can't sure what's reason caused this issue? Hi, I have recently purchased STM32f750-DK discovery board,I have configured USB HS and USB FS both for Communication Device Class on STM32 Cube IDE. Code is generated and Built without any Error but On debugging USB FS Port detects on My PC as Com Port but USB HS port not detects.can any body suggest some solution/configurations for the same?

I could download latest HAL library for STM32L4 (which means my internet setup maybe correct), but when trying to launch an upgrade to CubeIDE 1.3, it fails (no upgrade available, server unavailable). Is it just me? (no apparent related post found so far) or should I just download a full install of 1.3 ?

I have a thermistor hooked up to the nucleo-l432kc to obtain temperature and display that temp on an LCD, print it to the screen, and light up a specific colour of an RGB LED. I want to be able to combine two colours of an RGB LED in different amounts, so not just have them both ON at full, but instead have one a bit less than the other (to make orange). I tried this using PWM and it worked, but for some reason it causes other parts of my circuit/program to malfunction (it ends up displaying an incorrect temp only when I use PWM and I do not know why). Any suggestions how to do this only using gpio outputs?

When importing my old project from True Studio to Cube IDE I get the dialog where I need to specify the processor in use (see picture).From this dialog I can not move on, no matter what i choose, one of them, all of them or none of them, or in different combination: when I click ok, the same dialog pops up again. When I click cancel, i pops back up and when I try to close it it comes back up. A have to shut Cube IDE down with task manager.I have tried reinstalling the application and restarting computer.Any Ideas?BR Mikael

Hi everyone, I am having lots of trouble finding the Generated Files settings and the HAL settingsfrom STMCubeIDE in STM32CubeIDE. I have looked at the most recent version of the documentation for STM32CubeMX but it doesn't say where to find these settings. Could someone plese help me locate these ? Thank you in advance.

Hi,When I try to create a new workspace in latest STM32CubeIDE 1.3, There is a split second where you see the small disc indicating processing, and then looks like it aborts and nothing happens.I notice that it can work with existing projects/ workspace created by SW4STM32. So the work around is to create the workspace and copy over the projects with SW4STM32 and continue on STM32CubeIDE as a work around.Any one else having this problem? Any feedback on this is welcome because with this problem, it's just as productive to stay on SW4STM32.

Hello, I'm trying to communicate between two STM boards through CAN. I'm using STM32F103ZET6(as Transmitter) and STM32F103C8(as Receiver). I'm not getting the output,can I get the code? or tell me the method to debug my code in STM32IDE.

My problem is the following, when I declare new globales variables depending the types, there are some executions as an ADC convertion for example, which make more time to be executed and the result is incorrect (65535).I wonder if there is limitation on the data embeded into an application, on the stack of execution and how to find out the problem.I have tried to declare long or unsigned long and the behaviour is different! With the signed long the behaviour is correct and with the unsinged long I am in front of the problem.I have tried to compare .map file to see if the memory allocation is changing. Of course it is changing but I am not able to understand the difference and how to interprete the issue. I have not compilation problem at all.The memory use show me :

Hello ,I am Using a development board STM32F072B-DISCO.I am able to read single channel of ADC by poll Conversion method , But i am unable read multiple channel by poll conversion method.Can you suggest method to read Multiple channel of ADC without using ADC Interrupt method.I have also tried DMA method but it is not working. I am using CubeIDE for the first time, but when Pin is activated in Pinout view, there is no reaction for about 1 minute before it is activated. I was working with STM32CubeIDE version 1.2 and I was debugging my code with the serial console available in the IDE.I made the update to the 1.3 version and now the "open serial console" icon just disappear and I can't find it anywhere.Does the serial console has been removed on version 1.3 ?If not, where is it hidden ?Thanks in advance:PS:Here is a picture extracted from document AN5360 which explain about the serial console.
