STM32CubeIDE (MCUs)

I am using the above mentioned hardware and I am also using the Serial Bluetooth Terminal Android app which is paired with the SPBT3.0.DP1 bluetooth module. I am using UART communication and trying to put the bluetooth module in bypass mode (" Any data received from the host is sent to the remote device. Any data received form the remote device is transmitted to the host.") . The AT command for this according the user manual is: "AT+AB Bypass"I tried with this:HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart4, (uint8_t*)"AT+AB Bypass\r\n", 12, 10); It sends out the command because I can see it in the android app (it writes out "AT+AB Bypass"), but there is no response and it seems like that it doesn't put the bluetooth module to bypass mode. I tried with other AT commands, with just \r and with just \n at the end but nothing seems to be working. Can I get somehow a response? Or am I sending the command out right?Can someone help me please wha

With STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.0.1 Build: 3139_20190612-1256 (UTC), and an H743 Nucleo with V2J35M26, I am unable to debug code with enters STOP mode when the options bits are set to NOT assert reset on entering STOP mode. I have the registers set to keep D1 and D3 debug pwered up in STOP mode. If the target is in STOP mode because the existing firmware puts it there, the debugger (SWD) will not connect if the option bits are set to NOT reset. Changing the option bits allows conenction.

I'm new to STM32 development.I use a STM32F407G-DISC1 kit.When I create a new project in STM32CubeMX for this board, I get all my on-board components like LEDs, buttons etc. mapped in GPIO section. This is very handy, because these evaluation board often used for quick prototyping.When I go through the same process in STM32CubeIDE, for some reason I/O is not mapped. I answer Yes to the "Initialize all peripherals with their default Mode" dialog, but the GPIO section remains empty. Maybe I do something wrong here?I can first generate a project in STM32CubeMX and then open it STM32CubeIDE, but I would definitely prefer if I could do both initial configuration and development withing one application.I use the latest available veresion of STM32CubeIDE (v1.2.1).

Dear allI moved from Atollic to Cube IDE.To debug a firmware without boot loader I use the Run Commands (located in the Debug Configuration -> Startup Tap) to move the $pc (program counter) to the desired address, where the firmware actually starts. This works in Cube IDE as well. But my comments in the same field beginning with a # do not work anymore. When I start the debugging session, I receive the following message:Failed to execute MI command:#commentError message from debugger back end:Undefined command: "". I'm new to IDE's (i'm old school, all my dev has been done with unix command line, shells, manually created make files), so my apologies up front for what is probably a pretty basic question. I'm starting with the example SBSFU KMS for the B-L475E-IOT board and want to extend the user app to bring in the application capabilities from the AZURE example for the same board. This entails bring in some drivers (for the networking, sensors, etc) and sme additional middlewares. If i just copy the middleware/driver folder content from the file system i'm bringing in alot more than the example project, so i'm trying to understand how to bring in the required files. It looks like the IDE has some level of a "link" that it maintains pointing to the actual source folders, as the directories within the example app for the Drivers and Middlewares are completely empty (place holders??)

I'm wanting to create a project for the Murata LoRa typABZ module, which appears to use the STM32L082CZU with UFQFPN48 package. In the IDE, I get the message: "The target device 'STM32L082CZUx' is currently not supported by STM32CubeIDE". I started a project using STM32L082CZY, but the pin mapping is different and somethings are not working. I don't see where, but can I change this mapping or is it more complicated than that? Or, is there a another way to auto-generate for this part? Will this be supported in the near future?

I'm trying to make the "BLE_Beacon" example found inside the "STM32CubeWB" file work with the STM32CubeIDE and the P-NUCLEO WB55 board. The program compiles correctly but I can't see the beacons. Debugging I saw that when it arrives in the loop it crashes and ends up in the default handler. I added as written within the program UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT ); inside the loop but the problem persists. Can you help me to fix the bug?

fatal error: stm32f1xx_hal_exti.h: No such file or directoryI now get the above error from a previously working project. After accepting the offer to upgrade from CubeIDE version 1.0.1 to 1.0.2. It worked fine initially but then I needed to regenerate the files as I tweaked the application's FreeRTOS usage & configuration settings. I now get the above error, looking for a header file that until this point has never existed. From another similar post on this subject, it seems that the problem lies in the HAL library been used. The project settings within CubeMX are. I haven't had any prompts about the incompatibility. But on reading the for mentioned post have done a manual download of the latest V1.8.0 F1 firmware package. ( the release notes on this list addition of new HAL EXTI driver). So the remaining problem now just boils down to , how do you get the project it re-generate the code using the V 1.8.0 HAL

Hi, I want to use the same code on two slightly different MCUs, one of which is an STM32L011F3Ux and the other one STM32L011K4Tx. I don't want to create two separate projects because it makes it less robust to keep track of code changes in a Version Control System such as git. How to do that? I don't want to have code separated in VCS and git pull it to both of the projects each time I want to make a change locally

Hello all STM32 Lovers,I am developing a project in STM32CUBE IDE 1.2.0 for my old STM32VL Discovery Board(STM32F100RBTX) that is connected to the old Nokia LCD everything is working perfectly fine (code generation, compiling, building) but I don't know why debugger is not started. I've been trying to import an mbed os 5 program into stm32cube ide. There seems to be some conflicts within the mbed os 5 library that are causing issues. Has anyone been able to successfully do this? Is there any documentation fort this?

I built a bootloader and a project using the Atollic TS pdf How-to. The bootloader works well (at 0x0800 0000), and I can debug the program (at 0x0800 8000).I imported the project to the STM32CubeIDE, but the project doesn't seem to start at the correct address.When I used an *.ld file in which the project starts at 0x0800 0000, it seemed to work OK. but once I make space for the bootloader, and use address 0x0800 8000 in the *.ld file, I cannot manage to debug the project.When I upload an image of the bootloader + FW to 0x0800 0000, the device works well.

Hello Community,I'm very new to STM32 MCU's. I downloaded the latest Mac Installer for STM32CubeIDE (1.1.0). The Installation for ST Link Server went fine. But the Cube IDE won't start. I searched the internet for some installation guideline but could not find any.Anyone how has some trouble shootings? Dear experts, I have started with STM32CubeIDE (tried 1.0.0 and 1.0.1) on Xubuntu Linux. After generating code and trying to open main.c I'm getting error messages telling me that no more handles were available and there were "SWT errors". The IDE suggests these were non-recoverable errors and I should exit and restart the IDE (no other options, anyway). Following this recommendation, I'm immediately caught in the same endless loop, unable to access my work. While after some googling, I conclude that this is an Eclipse related editor problem, I suppose that preventing the IDE to automatically open any file with the internal editor might do the trick that I could at least complete the MCU configuration and then take my code to a different IDE (MSVSC with Platformio Plugin intended), other than restarting from scratch and avoiding to open any file within the IDE.Any clues where the list of files to be opened is stored (or how to fix the underl

Once updated to version 1.1.0 the device configurator (CubeMX) is not able anymore to be opened on MacOS. Is there any way to make it works?

The progress indicator under Checking for Updated Files never seems to stop working. It also never seems to Download and Unzip selected Files. I will let it run over night and see if it ever completes.
